The structure is managed with passion, attention, enthusiasm and grace by Luca and Lucilla. Brothers who have traveled so much for work reasons and still travel. This has meant that they could develop a particular attention, to everything that can serve to spend a pleasant, relaxing stay, assisted by a bit more taste and so much attention and seriousness. Their biggest feed-back (whatever it is, as long as it is sincere) is your judgment. IMPORTANT: 4-legged family members are always welcome

As said La Casa nel Castello is located inside the ancient village of Ostia, consisting of a small group of houses from the 1400s perfectly preserved and protected by a wall and a castle, built to defend the last stretch of the Tiber. This until 1557, when a giant flood, changed its course.
The Casa nel Castello is in the walls, in their center, Piazza della Rocca, about 30 meters from the Castle (commissioned by Pope Julius II) and 50 meters from the Basilica of Sant'Aurea, also this important and historic Basilica, built by the Christians in place where in 270 AD the Romans martyred Santa Aurea. This is a magical place. Really. It is not so easy to describe it because we should spend too much time and too many words...with the risk of getting bored (difficult, almost impossible). It is important, however, to add that the Borgo, in addition to being served by all the buses that go to Rome and to the coast (the coast is about 4 km away), with stops 10 meters from us and from the train (300 meters), that with 2 euros and 25 minutes it takes you to Piramide, in the heart of Rome, it must be said, be careful, that La Casa nel Castello is in front of the main entrance of the excavations of Ostia Antica. All around us, a few meters away, restaurants, bars, post office, ATM, pharmacy, service center, fruit shops etc etc. Ostia Antica is truly a small town, which can offer the chance to live and visit Rome, its beauties, its sea, its green lung, without having to submit to its well-known big chaos. The Borgo will catapult you in the middle of the most ancient history of Rome, but all this will take place in total and relaxing tranquility and discretion.

Appartamento ottimamente arredato e fornito di tutti i comfort.
La comunicazione coi proprietari, Luca e Lucilla, è stata molto semplice e cordiale.
Abbiamo viaggiato in due, per viaggi di vacanza. Consigliatissimo.
