The private room, equipped with en-suite bathroom, is in B&B and offers an independent access through a private garden, guaranteeing your privacy. Outside there is a small space where you can relax in the green. The mini kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and electric hob, includes pots and dishes to prepare simple meals on your own.
The room, with double window, overlooks the green of the private garden of the house, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is self-service (we leave everything to you on arrival so that you can be autonomous) and, basic, includes milk, coffee, rusks, tea and jams but for special needs, we will be happy to meet your requests when possible.

I have been a host for more than 10 years, managing two facilities, one always in the same area and the other in the historic center. I decided to dedicate a room in my house to hospitality as it was very suitable for privacy (independent entrance) and tranquility and having seen that guests appreciated this area, out of the chaos of tourism and so green and historic, a few steps from the train and tram 8 and 3 which are our light metro.

Monteverde Vecchio is situated on the charming Gianicolo Hill, nestled in the tranquility of a truly unique residential area: surrounded by greenery (just steps away from Villa Sciarra and Villa Pamphili) and only a 10-minute walk from Trastevere. Here, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the night while living in an elegant environment (featuring many Liberty-style villas), far from the tourist bustle but within a short distance from the center of Trastevere.
From Viale Trastevere, you can take tram 8 (“light metro”) and reach the heart of Rome, Piazza Venezia, in about 20 minutes (including sites like the Campidoglio, Ara Coeli, Teatro di Marcello, and Bocca della Verità). Additionally, we are just a 10-minute walk from the Quattro Venti station, which is one stop away from San Pietro. The Trastevere train station is a 20-minute walk away (or reachable by tram 8). Buses 75, trains, and bus H will connect you to Stazione Termini, Fiumicino Airport, and Tiburtina station.

Laura is a sweetheart. The house is super comfortable and cool; we thought we would be closer to the center but we still arrived very easily. The neighborhood is really quiet and safe. And I repeat, Laura's treatment toward us was exceptional. Go, it's worth it.

Highly recommended. Laura was very attentive. Quiet place, nice neighborhood. You can reach all the sites quickly on foot or by bus. The apartment is well equipped to eat there. Having a private entrance is very convenient.
