Gianola is a favorite among families with children for its fine golden sand and shallow waters, where children can play safely. Formia has several attractions. Beyond the sea, it boasts one of the largest and most impressive Roman cisterns, one of the few Roman amphitheaters built within residential buildings, and is the only municipality to have two regional parks: the Riviera di Ulisse, with the Monte di Gianola marine protected area, right next to the residence, and the Monti Aurunci, where you can hike along a panoramic trail overlooking the sea at an altitude of 1, 250 meters above sea level. The location is ideal for those who enjoy a vacation without having to take a car, as well as for those who enjoy visiting a new place every day: Gaeta, Sperlonga, Terracina, Minturno, and Baia Domizia are all nearby.
