Beschreibung

It is located on the second and last floor of an ancient building of the typical via del Riserraglio, in one of the most ancient districts of the city where there was the Roman era forum and where, in the Middle Ages, there were flourishing handicraft workshops and big papermaking factories. The flat has been finely renovated and furnished taking great care of the details, trying to recreate, where it was possible, a medieval style furniture. It has a beautiful high ceiling with terracotta tiles, authentic beams and wooden truss beams, and parquet. The wooden furniture, the light fixtures, the lanterns, the copper and wrought iron torches are all craftsman works, as well as the doors, faithful reproductions of ancient models with typical bolts. The walls are adorned with reproductions of medieval arras of the Flanders. The flat can host up to six persons and it is composed as follows:

Completing the whole, there are a little balcony and a little terrace with a charming view on Tivoli and the valley of Vesta below. The windows of the bedrooms overlook on the typical and quiet piazzetta del Riserraglio.

We had such a wonderful stay at La Dimora Del Ghibellino. It was peaceful, restful, beautiful and comfortable. The property provides an extraordinary combination of architectural charm and modern comfort. We even took a picture of the mattress tags, they were so comfortable! The neighborhood is very nice. It is quiet and we felt very safe. There is a lovely bar nearby, Cartiere, with delicious coffees and snacks. Most importantly, the hostess is extraordinarily kind and helpful. She quickly responds to questions, is helpful with local advice and in general a pleasure to meet. We hope to come back every year!

I stayed in Tivoli for a weekend. The Bed and Breakfast is beautiful and located in the historic center. A special mention definitely goes to the property. Alessandra is incredibly helpful and kind. It was truly a pleasure. I will highly recommend this property. Thank you for everything.

A beautiful and welcoming house equipped with everything you could desire in a residential home, you feel at home while enjoying the uniqueness and beauty of the structure. Very central, in a very quiet location, with panoramic views. Ideal for medium to long stays. The owner Alessandra is one of the most welcoming and helpful people encountered, truly a pleasure to interact with her and stay in her residence. Excellent solution not only for visiting Tivoli but also as a reference point for Rome and its surroundings.

We stayed at the holiday home La Dimora del Ghibellino in August 2017. The apartment is located in the beautiful medieval village of Tivoli, just a few minutes walk from the center and the main points of interest. The apartment is finely furnished in a medieval style, with characteristic solid wood furnishings and wrought iron details, very spacious and welcoming. It consists of a double bedroom, a room with two single beds, a large living room with a kitchen (perfectly equipped) and a sofa, a large bathroom (and laundry area with washing machine) and a wonderful loft with an additional bed. The apartment is completed by the parquet floor and a ceiling with terracotta tiles and exposed wooden beams. The house also has a balcony and a splendid panoramic terrace on the roof. The apartment was delivered to us in perfect aesthetic and functional conditions and very clean, exactly as shown in the pictures, of which I can only confirm the fidelity. The owner was very helpful and friendly. She welcomed us with the utmost courtesy and gave us a map, showing us how to reach the main places to visit. Great value for money. Absolutely recommended, especially for stays of a few days.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet corner of the historic center of Tivoli, a few steps from the main cultural sites. It is equipped with the most modern comforts (dishwasher, washing machine, wifi) but at the same time allows you to stay in a context with ancient charm. The panoramic terrace is superb for breakfast or for watching the stars in the evening immersed in silence. The owner is very kind and generous with useful advice. I would love to come back for a longer stay to also discover the splendid surroundings of Tivoli and the famous thermal waters.

We had a few days off and wanted to return to Lazio to continue the discovery of a beautiful region. Tivoli seemed like a good place, for its location and for its famous sites and monuments. So we found La Dimora del Ghibellino: a delightful apartment, spacious, well-kept, ventilated (it was the hottest days of last summer!), where every evening we returned from the daily excursion.
