Just 100 meters from the shores of Lake Castel Gandolfo, the B&B "il Nido del Falco" welcomes you with rooms equipped with private bathrooms (with shower or Jacuzzi whirlpool bath) and lake views in both the rooms and the common area.
We offer plentiful breakfasts and provide information on food and wine itineraries and attractions in the Castelli Romani.
Our facility will guarantee you hospitality, comfort, and valuable advice on routes to follow and places to visit.

Ivan is a filmmaker passionate about art history and has made numerous documentaries on cultural Multilingual Italian city and beyond; Maria is a gracious welcoming and bright landlady, an excellent cook, which will offer you its cakes and jams for your morning breakfast; Julius is now a graduate bartender who proposes his creations alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in the pub on the lake, not far from our B & B.

Il Nido del Falco offers its guests the pleasure to experience the atmosphere of outdoor spaces: at your disposal in fact a portion of the garden that offers the possibility to walk in silence between the sounds of the countryside, discovering the best views for pleasant moments of relaxation and rest.
From here you can admire over the mirror of the lake, one of the best panoramic views of the ancient village of Castel Gandolfo, where stands the imposing Vatican Apostolic Palace surmounted by the Observatory, and the dome of the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova, designed in the 17th century by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
The area of ??the Castelli Romani, is a fertile volcanic area which has allowed since ancient times a flourishing agriculture. The former crater is occupied by two lakes, Lake Nemi and that of Albano.
Known since ancient Roman times, the area was frequented by noblemen of Rome for its cooler climate during the summer: the tradition was followed by the Popes which still have their summer residence of Castel Gandolfo, overlooking Lake Albano. Families who ruled in the castles include Orsini, Colonna, Chigi, Aldobrandini, Savelli, Annibaldi and Ruspoli.
The town of Castel Gandolfo is best known for the presence of the summer residence of the Popes, which encircle many other summer residences, villas and cottages built in the seventeenth century. Its territory includes almost the whole coastal arc of Lake Albano, which houses among others the Olympic Stadium Rowing CONI.
There are also various places of archaeological interest, including examples are the emissary of Lake Albano and the remains of Domitian's Alban villa, as well as natural, since the area is included in the scope of the Regional Park of the Castelli Romani. What can I say about this beautiful welcome from the B&B owners? The rooms and the house are stunning, impeccably clean and uniquely elegant. The villa overlooks the lake, offering an incredible view. Surrounded by greenery and nature, the villa is meticulously maintained. Despite the cold, sitting in the garden in front of the lake on the bench was wonderful. We will definitely come back often. When we returned from our walk, we found the house pleasantly warm, with a warmth as if we were at home. The breakfast was very plentiful and the owner incredibly kind. There is also the option of an international breakfast, but we stuck to the classic Italian one. I must say that besides being a dream place, the structure, the villa, is very well-kept and very clean. We can't wait to return in January. You can leave your car at the villa. There is ample green parking and you can walk down to the lake shore. The place is full of typical eateries where the food is excellent and the village is very pretty and well-kept.

The B&B is located in a secluded and dominant position overlooking Lake Albano, which ensures tranquility and a stunning panorama of the same lake. The building offers warm, comfortable, and welcoming environments. Spacious and clean rooms, with a pleasant courtesy service in the bathrooms. We were two couples and had the whole floor to ourselves: perfect kitchen, dining and living room and fantastic porch. Everything was tastefully furnished, clean; art and tourism books; our room was large: lake view, comfortable and warm bed, super bathroom: whirlpool tub, hot and abundant shower immediately. Spacious and secure parking spaces, well-kept greenery. Then on foot to Lake Albano and Castel Gandolfo. We will come back, thank you for the hospitality. The Falcon's Nest B&B.

Rating 8 for 'Il Nido del Falco B&B' because the fridge was not in the room but in the common areas, where even the air conditioning was not working and in any case in summer the minibar in the room is very useful. Breakfast with a rating of 8 because in other bed and breakfasts it was better organized and with more choice.

I spent only one night with my family but it was a wonderful experience. The manager was very kind, the place really stunning. Great location and the services offered by the facility. We will definitely return. Excellent breakfast.

Relaxing place with breathtaking view. Very kind and helpful managers. Great location. On foot you can reach the lake shore, where you can find several restaurants.

Ho trovato questo B&B molto bello, curatissimo, stanze e bagni grandi e confortevoli dove non manca nulla. Materassi e cuscini perfetti. La colazione sotto al portico, in un bellissimo giardino e con vista lago, regala un panorama e una quiete impagabili. Gentilezza, disponibilita' e discrezione da parte del proprietario. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca relax e quiete.

La famiglia che si occupa della struttura è di una gentilezza e disponibilità unica che non si trovano facilmente in giro. Siamo state viziate e coccolate, dalla colazione genuina ed abbondante all'aperitivo. La casa è grande, arredata con gusto ed ha un giardino meraviglioso e un panorama fantastico sul lago. La terrazza della colazione è talmente sospesa nel tempo che ci vorresti restare a vivere. C'è un'attenta cura per i particolari e un'attenzione scrupolosa alle necessità dei clienti. Il silenzio e la quiete ti rapiscono. Domini il lago e vedi la vita dall'alto e ti senti veramente un falco nel suo nido.

Con mio marito e una coppia di amici abbiamo passato al B&B Il nido del falco un fine settimana.
La struttura è molto bella, il giardino curatissimo. La vista sul lago è suggestiva.
La convenzione con la spiaggia ci ha consentito di godere in tutta tranquillità del lago.

La struttura è assolutamente curata e ben gestita, con una posizione eccellente a pochi passi dal lago.
Le camere confortevoli e pulite e i gestori assolutamente accoglienti e disponibili.
Essendo una piccola struttura gode di tranquillità e un clima familiare prezioso.
Adatto anche per una fuga romantica dalla routine quotidiana!

Posto spettacolare per il panorama della camera (eravamo alla camera Glicine), pulizia perfetta e padroni di casa gentili e disponibili. La colazione nella zona comune del salone che da sul panorama, è stata abbondante e di buona qualità. Veramente consigliato per soggiorni di visita ai Castelli Romani!
