The design of the property

Description

The I Mulini a Vento is a brand new Bed & Breakfast located in an elegant building in the very center of Rome. In the very middle of one of the most commercial area of the city. Only 100mt far from to St. Peter's Square, 200mt from the Vatican Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo, 200mt far from Ottaviano/SanPietro metro station (linea A). All around there are public parks (to be paid and free) and private garages. The apartment has been totally renovated and it is on the main floor with few steps to get in but no elevator needing. All rooms are furnished with new beds with orthopedic mattress, private ensuite bathroom with shower, bath and shower gel, air drier, air conditioning (automatically manageable hot/cold in all seasons) and dgt tv with local and international free channels. The typical Italian breakfast will be served anytime during the day at the bar just right outside the main door of the building.

We are proud of providing most services as an hotel, with all comforts chosen with care and style, according to our familiar atmosphere. Adding more hospitality, warm welcome, calm and quietness typical of a B&B.

Great experience. The room is not too big but comfortable. The spaces are very clean. Top location, just a step from St. Peter's Square, the Ottaviano Metro station, and a 2-minute walk from Via Cola di Rienzo (shopping area). Staff (Ms. Cristina) very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. We spent a week at the hotel I Mulini Avento. The host was very nice, welcoming us and saying goodbye. Upon check-in, he gave us a map and marked on it the must-see places and good restaurants. If we had any requests, he fulfilled them. The apartment is located on the high ground floor on a quiet street. It is clean. It has everything you need. On site, there are clean towels, hygiene products, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. The apartment was cleaned every day. The towels were changed every 3 days. The apartment is equipped with heaters (useful in winter) and air conditioning. There is no draft from the windows (plastic windows). The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is served in a small Italian restaurant across the street from 6 AM. Very good location. It is a 1-2 minute walk to the Ottaviano metro. A few stations to the city center (e.g., 4 stops to the Trevi Fountain). A few minutes walk to the Vatican. On the last day, our flight was not until the evening. The host gave us the keys and allowed us to leave our luggage. This made our last walks much easier.

I was welcomed by Cristina, a very kind and helpful person. The single room is small but perfectly functional. Both heating and air conditioning are available. The mattress is comfortable. The cleanliness is excellent. The location of the structure is a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square and Via Cola di Rienzo, the shopping street. It is also two minutes from the Ottaviano metro station from which all the attractions of Rome can be reached. Breakfast is served in a bar just in front of the building. I absolutely recommend staying at this structure.

The structure is located a few steps from Ottaviano metro station, on the raised ground floor of an elegant building. The room, recently renovated, is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The managers immediately proved to be very kind. Breakfast is served in a bar opposite which, although it has courteous and polite staff, is not in my opinion up to the b&b.

Very clean and pleasant. The only remark, but more than a remark it is an improvement suggestion. In my room, I felt the lack of a small table to use with the provided chair, to comfortably use the laptop. I would have placed it near the mirror. Everything else was fine.

The bed and breakfast I Mulini a Vento is located in a great location, close to the metro to move around the city, just a 10-minute walk from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's and close to many places where you can eat or have a drink. The manager is very helpful and kind. The room is well equipped, quiet, and the bed and pillows are of excellent quality (to be emphasized for people who, like me, have trouble sleeping if they are not in their own bed!). Highly recommended!

In a great location, just a step away from the Vatican Museums, with parking in front (we even found it for free!), the B&B I Mulini a Vento is a small structure inside an elegant building: few rooms, quiet and clean, breakfast served at the Café in front, friendly and welcoming, kind and professional the welcome of Mrs. Linda, caring the owner Daniele. The courtesy and precision of the managers and the excellent location of the property are certainly to be highlighted. The only thing that left me puzzled was the tourist tax: in April I paid 2 euros per night (another property in Viale G. Cesare); in September 3 euros per night and on the last occasion 3.50 euros per night. I do not understand these increases in such a short time.
