Hotelier Viennese Due

Bad from when we arrived. I had booked a double room for two with breakfast. They told me there was no breakfast and that I had no reservation, even though I showed them the reservation documents, and they gave me a shabby room with a bunk bed. Horrible.

Location on the 4th floor with a broken elevator and no prospect of repair. Old structure in need of renovation, particularly for the bathroom. Overall not sufficient.

Disastrous experience, rude and very exhausted manager. Room with a bunk bed, absolutely not recommended.

Poor hygiene and poor organization.

Stayed for two nights. The air conditioning did not make it very cool. The outlet by the nightstand did not work. Only one towel (large towel), but upon our request they also gave us one for the face and an additional towel. Shower with a clogged drain that would flood the bathroom if you didn't wash quickly. No handheld shower. Just a showerhead positioned high up like in the 70s. The real downside is the lack of a bidet. The location is spectacular. Street adjacent to Termini station. The owner Stan is very helpful. For what it offers, the price is high in my opinion.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a positive review. The structure is dirty, the rooms are worse. I found feces in the bathroom and only one towel for two. The rooms do not match the reality. The floor is dirty. The host was rude.

A bit disappointed with our stay, the type of room and the lack of cleanliness, but especially because we had booked breakfast which was not actually there. We do not think we will stay there again.

Old shower. Missing shampoo and shower gel. The balcony serves as a storage space for toilet paper and mattresses for the entire facility. Television is difficult to operate. I do not recommend it. Poor value for money.

I agree with all the other people who provided negative reviews about the hotel. As far as I am concerned, this establishment gave the impression that we are simply being mocked because I have never seen such terrible conditions. This is Rome, people, it is a European city, and you provide conditions as if we were in the '80s in the "Soviet bloc", this cannot be done. I must only mention the manager at the reception, a young guy from Ukraine.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the room need to be significantly improved. The elevator leading to this Bed & Breakfast located on the 4th floor had an extremely bad smell. I'm writing this review solely to help improve the service.

Structure with deficiencies in accommodation both regarding the room and the services part that need improvement.

Room and bathroom need a total redo, poor cleanliness, rundown building structure. Otherwise ok.

Struttura fatiscente, stanza diversa da quella in foto, lenzuola vecchie e strappate, sanitari sporchi, finestre con imposte rotte che non si chiudono, letto scomodo, rumori tutta notte, accoglienza pessima e confusa.

Muy basico y el edificio se cae a pedazos, tiene olor feo, pero la habitación esta bien.

Pulizia scadente, stanza in pessime condizioni. Lenzuola piene di peli e capelli, bagno sporco. Veramente una brutta esperienza.

Se dovessi descrivere l’inferno, questa struttura sarebbe l’ideale. La struttura è al quarto piano, l’ascensore puzzava di pipì. Zero cortesia, zero pulizia, stanza schifosa, bagno non ne parliamo, una puzza orrenda, disgusto totale. Purtroppo non avevo alternative quindi ho soggiornato una notte ma andando a comprare i detersivi per disinfettarla! Sconsigliatissima, secondo me gli ostelli sono molto più puliti. Non so come faccia ad essere ancora aperto. Unica nota positiva la posizione, ma per lo schifo che è preferisco farmi un km a piedi.

La foto della pubblicità sul sito è ingannevole. La stanza nella quale ho pernottato, fortunatamente per una sola notte, aveva tutte le pareti sporche per non parlare delle tende e della coperta. La tavoletta del wc era mezza rotta, il soffione doccia pieno di calcare ed arrugginito. Acqua calda inesistente e per questo non ho potuto fare la doccia. È vero che ho pagato solo 55,00 euro ma almeno il minimo si poteva fare. Unico punto a favore che stavo vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini. C'è da migliorare.

Spartan conditions that do not justify the cost at all even though the location is favorable for travelers.

The room was not at all similar to the ones in the photos they publish. The room was very small on the fifth floor of an old building where several "hotels" operate. The first night there was a faulty motion detector that emitted a very annoying intermittent and continuous sound in the hallway outside the room that I disconnected the next morning. We were not told where we would have breakfast, but given the general conditions of the building, we preferred to look for another alternative. If it hadn't been for arriving at 1 am, I would have looked for another alternative.

Hotel Viennese Due without any hygiene and safety standards respected. Everywhere you look it's surreal. I had booked 4 nights, I expected a spartan place, it was the only option found for a business trip. I ran away after sleeping just one night and also paid for the next one without sleeping due to an already expired cancellation policy. I absolutely do not recommend it, avoid it without hesitation! You find people camped on the landings, 5 floors on foot without an elevator in dark corridors. The area, although close to the center, is not at all safe even at 7:00 in the evening, imagine later. Breakfast included, in a bar run by Chinese people who offer you rubber croissants, but compared to the hotel that's even acceptable. I'm sorry to be harsh, maybe my bad experience could help someone else.

Conforming to the description. Dated bathroom. Quiet night. Pretty well located in Rome... although I advise against single women. Lack of signage... But quite happy to have found this affordable room at the last minute. Breakfast in a street shop nearby.

Unfortunately, the property is not worthy of being called 'Hotel Viennese Due'. The room I was assigned was worse than a bed and breakfast or guesthouse, located on a separate floor from the reception, in another apartment that included other rooms. Furthermore, the receptionists were not always available, and I had to call them several times to inform them that I was waiting in the reception area.\n\nIn the room, there was an air conditioner that was working, but after about half an hour, it started dripping. I had to turn it off and place a towel on the stovetop, which was present in my room. I couldn't call the reception because there was no phone in the room. To reach it, I would have had to exit the apartment, take the stairs or the elevator, and go to the reception.\n\nThe next morning, I informed the staff of what had happened, and the response was: 'Ah, thank you, I will have it checked'. I expected a 'I'm sorry', since it was very hot in the room, and it would have been preferable to have the air conditioner on. The air conditioner continued to drip for another hour or so.\n\nUpon my arrival, as I was being escorted to the room, I couldn't help but notice a homeless person sleeping on the landing of the stairs on the floor below.\n\nThe breakfast consisted of a modest coffee or cappuccino and a croissant, with a total value of 3/4 euros. In short, it was a fairly negative experience. The 60 euros requested were absolutely not justified. The only positive aspect is the location, situated behind the station, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, I will avoid returning here.

Room not very clean with dust on the door and bathroom with a poorly functioning shower and limescale.

Structure located in the immediate vicinity of Termini station, in a building where there are other guesthouses. The photos on the website do not correspond to the assigned room, as well as the restaurant shown in the photos. Very small bathroom that barely allows movement, lacks a bidet and there is humidity despite the extractor. In the room, not all lights and sockets are functional, in addition to the double bed there is a foldaway bunk bed, which in my opinion would greatly restrict the already limited space when opened. There is no mini-fridge. Decent cleanliness of the rooms. Daily change of towels. Helpful manager. Rating for the breakfast provided at the adjacent bar is decent. Overall, the price paid for the stay is not commensurate with the service offered.

The only positive note is the convenient location near Termini. Low price but proportionate to the low quality.

We were two in the room for one night, we had a good time, the room was clean and a nice bathroom. Good breakfast considering it was included in the price of the night.

Some details to improve.

Value for money is sufficient. The hotel is old and not very clean. I don't think I will come back.

The bed linen was clean, but I didn't feel like using the only towel provided. The walls urgently need repainting. Only good for one night. There should be an option to exclude breakfast. The bar where I was supposed to have it at check-out was closed. I wouldn't come back.

The receptionist at Hotel Viennese Due treated us badly just because we asked what time the room would be ready, comparing us to other customers who were paying much more to stay like us for just one night. He even threatened to give us our money back! All for a simple question! If you want to do this job, you must behave in the exact opposite way, or simply find another job.

Disappointed. Entrance, stairs and elevators dilapidated; small room furnished in a rough manner; found only one shower towel and I had to ask for the complete set. 1 sqm bathroom uncomfortable and without bidet (missing bath mat and shampoo), uncomfortable shower with rusty folding door. Evident lack of constant maintenance and care. Poor cleaning, noises and voices from adjacent rooms and a mixture of smells coming from the inner courtyard. Internet connection problems. Breakfast in a nearby bar only with cappuccino and a croissant. Unacceptable! I paid € 80 per night and the disappointment was bitter.

I booked a room in advance for my friends. They had to spend the night and continue their journey. At Hotel Viennese Due, immediately at check-in, they requested payment in cash, although I had provided my card details at the time of booking. At the reception, the lady said that if you don't like something, you can leave. After some phone calls, they still sorted it out. The air conditioner in the room was not working and in the morning there was not a drop of water to use the bathroom and wash up.

The area is very convenient both for Termini Station, for the city center and the university area. Obviously, near the major stations the 'population' is very varied and I don't know if I would return alone (I avoided going out at night and coming back late).

Overall positive, easy to reach from the station and to move around the city.

Very dirty and shady area. Friendly staff, convenient location.

I recommend the managers to change the mattresses and to carry out a more accurate and thorough cleaning.

The manager is very kind, polite, and also very available and always ready to help. \nIn my opinion, the price suits the quality of the room in terms of facilities and comfort. \nI recommend this place for staying for 3 nights and will absolutely book it for myself, should I need a room for a few nights.

Great location.

Perfectly located for those arriving at Termini station. Good reception, the room is as described on the website, working Wi-Fi, hot shower, and comfortable bed; I didn't have breakfast! Thank you and see you soon, Ascanio.

For the needs of continuous movement during my stay in Rome, I needed a Bed and Breakfast near the station, and Hotel Viennese Due is excellent as a location. In practice, it takes more time to exit the station than to arrive at the Bed and Breakfast! As soon as I entered, I honestly had a negative impression, everything seemed so tight; I was assigned the room closest to the entrance, and I feared not being able to sleep hearing the intercom ring and people coming in and out, instead I slept deeply both nights, the bed comfortable and warm, heating on, and I didn't hear any noise, so all in all the place is quiet, as I hoped. The computer that was available in the room I didn't use, nor the wifi, so I can't comment on that. The TV: few channels work, but I believe that those who come to Rome should have other things to do than watch TV! The first day the room had a bit too much dust for my taste, but simply pointing it out to the owner led to more attention being paid to this aspect. The only thing I can't overlook is a hole in the sliding door of the shower, the water that leaked spread throughout the bathroom, if one doesn't notice it, they risk getting an electric shock when using the hairdryer! For the rest, I have nothing else to say; it's not new as a Bed and Breakfast, but if I understood correctly, it's in the process of renovation, so I'm confident that everything will gradually be put back to new. The staff is very friendly, kind, and always available, at any time. Always present. Breakfast was consumed at the bar in front, just a few meters away. This location is also super convenient because you don't have to travel kilometers and the fact that they chose not to offer room service is excellent in my opinion, so you don't have a set time; for example, today I left early to catch the train and I could still have breakfast. Not abundant, but simple and practical. I prefer it! The restaurant associated with the Bed and Breakfast is also very practical, just a few meters away. Simple but elegant, economical menu, tasty, generous portions. Friendly and always available staff. What can I say, the quality - price ratio of the Bed and Breakfast is overall good, I would come back!

Attached to Termini station and all metro and bus stops. Small hotel but the room was nice and clean. Very kind staff. Good breakfast at the nearby bar!

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Viennese Due. At the beginning, we were a bit confused because having gone to Hotel Viennese 2, we were moved to another property, the Evergreen. The room was very nice and functional, with a television. The spring bed was a bit uncomfortable and unfortunately the bathroom was without a bidet! The funny thing was that when taking the elevator, you still had to take the stairs to reach the door! Apart from this, the location was advantageous and the service was good, they clean and change towels and everything! The price is really convenient.

I stayed at the Hotel Viennese Due for two days. The area is terrible, and the hotel is located in a 6-story building on a street where street vendors and drunkards park nearby. They changed my room between one night and the next, and from what I heard, they do this with all guests. I understood they have multiple properties, so they keep moving people around. There is no reception. Every time you need something, you have to ring the bell or call. The rooms are very hot and clean, although the first room smelled of sewage in the bathroom. Breakfast is served at a Chinese bar. I preferred to have it at a bar in the station. I don't think I'll go back.

Strategic and convenient location, but some very poor details, torn and dirty bedspread but clean sheets as well as clean the rest.
