Located in a 17th century building, decorated with the coat of arms of the Bees, symbol of the powerful family of Barberini, the Hotel Santa Prassede is located on top of the Esquilino hill, the highest point of Rome, just a few meters from the wonderful papal basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. We are in the charming Rione Monti, the first of the districts, a picturesque and suggestive area of the Old Town, between the Colosseum, the Imperial Fora and the Termini station. The building with warm colours of the Roman tradition overlooks the church of Santa Prassede, a small hidden gem. Our small hotel wants to give its guests an intimate atmosphere and a warm hospitality with a family-like touch, with particular care and attention to detail. The design lights and decorations with their colours form a charming atmosphere. To create a simple and functional space we have chosen to make the furniture handmade. The same philosophy has inspired the choice to keep a part of the wooden furniture and use vintage armchairs and appreciating their individual character. All our rooms have different sizes, each has its own personality, but all have the same comforts: private bathroom with new shower, desk or worktop, hairdryer, courtesy kit complete with soap, shower foam, headset, toothbrush, slippers, towel, face, bidet and mat, air conditioning and heating, Internet TV or Smart LCD flat screen TV, 32 and 50 inches, mattresses with topper, safe, complimentary water, free fast fiber-optic WiFi. In the King Size Jacuzzi Whirlpool Suite, our guests can enjoy a romantic stay or simply relax. Our single rooms, with the double bed are designed with particular love to give the customer the possibility of using the space optimally.
