Description

Situated in a building of the 19th century very close to Piazza di Spagna, Hotel Panda is one of the oldest hotels in the historical center of Rome, with economical prices and family atmosphere (some rooms offer the possibility to admire old paintings of the 19th century preserved and maintained with care).

Because of its strategic position our guests will be able to visit all the most important monuments with no need of public transportation.

Only 1 minute walk to Piazza di Spagna: with the famous Spanish Steps;
Via del Babuino: the street of antiques; Via Margutta: the street of artists;
Piazza del Popolo: with its churches.

Shopping is made easier by the vicinity of shops that make good value prices like those in Via del Corso, Via Frattina, Via Condotti, Via del Tritone.

Very easy to arrive from Termini station, Rome's central railway station: take the underground (Line A - direction Battistini) and get off at 'Spagnà station (only 3 stops).

The location is really excellent, very convenient for exploring the city. However, the property shows some signs of age. The room was a bit dark and the lighting was inadequate, making the environment less welcoming than I had hoped. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was quite outdated and needs renovation. Poor breakfast. Price too high.

The hotel is central, just a turn from Plaza España, close to the metro, and its staff is very attentive, solution-oriented, and very friendly. Keep in mind the stairs to the elevator (if you come with a lot of luggage). The rest is beautiful ❤️.

The location is excellent, and the hospitality from Mrs. Anda and Mr. Melchiorre is outstanding. The breakfast is abundant but not very varied. Everything is very clean. It is a pity about the room that had a smelly bathroom due to the rather old sewage system.

You get what you pay for, but the location was amazing! Right in the heart of many delicious restaurants and amazing shops. Many of the sites are highly walkable with an enjoyable journey. Marcel at the front desk was so amazing and helpful. Our flight was delayed over almost 24 hours and he was so helpful and accommodating.

It is very well located, the staff is nice, the accommodation is simple, but considering the price and the area, it’s quite good. The only drawback is the elevator, which is located between floors, so you have to use the stairs.

Very central. Perfect hotel to discover the city, the Spagna metro very close and Via del Corso for shopping and walks, many places to eat/dine. They gave us the choice of the room, towards the street or inside, a nice touch. If I had to say something 'negative' it would be that they need to dust.

Great central area just a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna. Very kind and helpful managers, excellent cleanliness, air conditioning and Smart TV. My room was single but with a double bed that perhaps took up more space. Comfortable desk, spacious wardrobe and various convenient support points. The bathroom is a bit small but recently renovated and equipped with a hairdryer and ample courtesy sets. Full autonomy with keys. Only one drawback: the elevator starts from the first floor to reach the second, so it's difficult when you have luggage. I was helped by the always very kind staff. For breakfast, you are given vouchers to use in the bars below. Recommended for those who love the city center and discovering the various restaurants, ice cream shops, and pizzerias that abound in the surrounding streets. Goodbye Rome!

Hotel Panda is the perfect place to have your base in Rome. It is right next to the Spanish Steps, but the restaurants, bars, and cafes are not the typical tourist fare. Rome is a city to walk in, and of course not all places are right next to the hotel, but the hotel feels like a place to rest after a busy day of sightseeing. The hosts were very accommodating, and we even had our laundry done, which was perfect for our busy schedule. The bathroom was very cute, and the room was clean, quiet, and dark at night. I would stay here again if traveling to Rome. Thank you so much Hotel Panda!

The Hotel Panda has a central location for visiting the most important monuments of Rome both on foot and by public transport. The Spagna metro stop is very close. Just a short walk from via del Corso. The room is decent and clean. The reception staff is very kind and helpful in solving a small initial problem. Highly recommended!

Our room, an attic, was low halfway. I am 193 cm tall and in the bathroom I touched the ceiling. The bathroom was 180 cm tall. Moreover, to enter the room, there were spiral stairs not comfortable to bring up the luggage. Splendid location. Clean room.

Truly a great bed and breakfast, the location is excellent, just steps away from Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna, which allows you to reach all the major attractions on foot. Towels were changed every day, room with a small private bathroom but comfortable overall, air conditioner and TV in perfect working order. Also, the price is not too high, and the staff is very kind, and at night there was a really nice gentleman.

The shower in the bathroom is unusable, immediately giving the idea of little care and attention in room management. The walls between one room and another are very thin, and at night this leads you to hear what happens in the other room, ending up being disturbed by your neighbors. Excellent location, a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and immersed in a street full of bars and restaurants to eat. The room is clean.

This property was our perfect introduction to Rome! The location is absolutely incredible. Walking distance to Spanish Steps (about 200m), Trevi Fountain (600m), and Pantheon (800m). We had a 6-month-old and a 4-year-old, and the triple room was perfect. Loved the street, and the front desk crew were helpful and down to earth. Will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at this Hotel for three nights. Excellent location, not even 5 minutes to get to Piazza di Spagna and Via del Corso. No complaints, perfect Hotel to visit Rome! We were greeted by a guy who was extremely helpful from the first day! We took advantage of the agreement with the bar downstairs, croissants and cappuccino for 2.50€! We will definitely come back.

Excellent choice for a tourist stay in Rome. The exceptional location a few meters from Piazza di Spagna makes the experience unforgettable. The comfortable rooms with spacious and functional bathroom offer adequate comfort. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is always guaranteed. The rooms are located on the first and second floor, unfortunately without an elevator. However, there is a common room available with free water, coffee and tea dispenser. The reception staff is attentive and helpful, always ready to meet your needs. Compared to similar structures, the quality-price ratio is excellent. The hotel has an excellent location. Our room was big and always clean. It was a little noisy because it was very close to the entrance. The receptionist guy on the afternoon shift was very friendly and willing to answer any questions, but the night shift receptionist was rude on more than one occasion, with almost no predisposition to help.

Hotel Panda located in a parallel street of Via Condotti in the city center, close to all the city attractions to visit on foot. The room was not very spacious, but we managed to settle in... Room located in the most remote corridor of an apartment, I do not recommend it for those suffering from claustrophobia! For the rest, everything is ok. Friendly and kind staff at the reception!

I stayed in a quadruple room, great for a stay in Rome. Breakfast at the Bar Pasticceria on the main street after purchasing the voucher at the hotel. Extremely kind staff. On the day of departure, I left my luggage for later pick-up in the afternoon. Great price. Highly recommended.

Don't be fooled by the mere two stars that Hotel Panda has, in my opinion it's worth at least three! The staff is very kind, the room is large. My room, number 31, was on two levels; on the lower floor there was a double bed and on the loft floor two single beds. The location is fantastic, right in the center, between Piazza di Spagna and Via del Corso. Despite being in a very busy street, the windows are excellent because they don't let the noises through. In the morning, the customer can have coffee or tea (included in the price regardless of whether you have breakfast included or not). The room is cleaned every day and the towels are changed every day. I highly recommend it!

Poor management. The cost included breakfast requested for 7:30. We were not informed that breakfast was served in a bar outside the property and that it was meager. For 2 breakfasts they charged us €6 but the voucher for the bar was €5. In any case, the bar, unbeknownst to us, opened at 8:00, so no breakfast. The bathroom was extremely narrow, couldn't even get into the shower. Property strongly discouraged.

B&B super comfortable at 100 meters from Piazza di Spagna and the Spagna metro stop and 100 meters from Via del Corso, therefore convenient to reach all the most important places in Rome, even on foot. The manager was kind and the disturbance minimal. The cleanliness is decent as the structure is in a 1400s building. The room is equipped with a TV and air conditioning. Clean towels and sanitary hygiene bags are provided. Despite being in a very crowded street and the nearby bars always full until late, the room was very quiet as it overlooks the inner courtyard. I found an excellent offer, so I would gladly return also for the quality/price ratio.

Excellent location! We rented a room for 3 with some sort of balcony for 1 bed. The shower is small but good. The toilet is separate from the shower and sink. Really clean. Daily cleaning and changing of the towels. Super hotel!

Dated structure with small rooms and bathroom, but very clean and quiet. Considering the location just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna, one can overlook it for a tourist who uses the room only for sleeping.

Got everything I need for a week of stay in Rome. Walking distance to most major attractions. I can go back to the hotel for a break and continue another wonder. There are also grocery stores and quick-to-go food within a 5-minute walk. Great alternatives for cheaper and faster food. There is a towel warmer and a bidet in the bathroom. Man, more luxury than an American 5-star hotel. The room was clean. My room was facing the street, but it becomes quiet after 11 pm, so not a problem at all. The view outside the window is also very nice, since Hotel Panda is on one of the prettiest streets in Rome. The staff are amazing. Helped me without asking. Outstanding. Will stay again 100% and recommend others to stay.
