Home 57 Relais offers quality rooms in Piazza Re di Roma 57 a few steps from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, and excellent connections to the historic center.

You can discover the most ancient and important basilicas of Rome, crossing the shopping streets and the ancient Roman walls to reach the unforgettable Colosseum, directly from your hotel.

All of Rome's main tourist attractions are easily reachable by metro, which will allow you to reach the Trevi Fountain and St. Peter's Basilica in just a few stops. You will also find numerous buses that will take you to the center in a few minutes.

You will find comfortable and well-furnished rooms all with private bathroom and, within walking distance, several typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias loved by the locals and several traditional bars and clubs where you can enjoy a drink.

We are right above the Metro A which allows you to reach all the beauties of the Eternal City.

The structure consists of 3 rooms, all equipped with private bathroom with hairdryer, heating, air conditioning, TV. WiFi throughout the hotel.

Ideal accommodation for a short stay. The bathroom is a bit small, but very clean and has a comfortable shower. Excellent communication with the host; entry via codes eliminates waiting on arrival.

Great location due to its proximity to the metro and to all kinds of services. The only downside of the property is the very noisy toilet cistern, especially at night, and the curtains as if they were not there. Apart from that, it is okay.

The refrigerator did not work, and neither did the air conditioner: the remote was missing! There was a stretch of days when we suffered from the cold! The bathroom is uncomfortable both because of the toilet, where it is difficult to sit, and because of the bidet, for which the faucet needs to be replaced, as well as because of the 'funereal' lighting. A few softer pillows would not go amiss.

Property in the city centre. On the fourth floor with an elevator (but one of those very old ones). We preferred to walk up and down the stairs. The apartment consists of several rooms, each with its own code. The bathroom is a bit cramped, the bedroom is spacious. The TV is very small. The windows are soundproof.

The location is excellent (the metro is in front and there are places to eat nearby). Quiet room overlooking an internal courtyard. Great value for money. There was some delay entering the property because the host had not sent instructions and was not answering the phone. Everything was resolved within ten minutes. The building's radiator does not allow individual control of the heating.

Excellent value for money; it costs the right amount and is centrally located. However, the floors are dirty (my children's feet became black after a few minutes of walking). Unpleasant smell in the room (sewer?). Lights would turn on or not depending on which plug was used. The TV remote control worked poorly. It would take little to become an excellent property.

Great location. We stayed in room 1; it was very spacious, the bed was good and the room was clean. The blankets in the closet were not clean. One shower head was broken. The sound insulation was terrible; you could hear every conversation from the neighbors and people walking. The bathrooms were extremely loud and it was impossible to get a full night of sleep. We only stayed one night.

Ideal location! Next to several metro entrances. The apartment is around the very charming square of Re di Roma, which has many restaurants, delicatessens, and very good bakeries. The building has its own charm and the bedding is very comfortable. The owner answered all our questions and we had a very good stay.

The room is spacious and super clean. There is a very beautiful view of Piazza Re di Roma. It is very quiet and in the city center. Everything is very well cared for. Excellent management even if it is all done remotely. The only advice is to have a coffee machine or a kettle in the room since a breakfast service is not provided even at an extra cost.

The room is clean and equipped with towels, hairdryer, TV, mini fridge, WiFi. You are not greeted by a person, everything is coordinated through WhatsApp. They respond quickly to inquiries. Definitely interesting and convenient strategic location! However, delay in check-in and little availability in meeting the customer's small requests such as early check-in times or codes sent to only one person when the reservation was for a double room. Additionally, there is the issue of the cost: the total amount for two nights was supposed to be 140 euros as per the bed-and-breakfast app, but instead 164.25 euros of "additional taxes" were requested, which were not even specified in the room reservation details on the door. Finally, even though it is listed on b&b, it's only a room, so the price never includes breakfast.

Stayed in this guesthouse for 3 days in Rome. Let's start with the only three positive aspects: excellent location just a few steps from the metro, not overly expensive price, and a very comfortable bed. There are several negative aspects: The bathroom emitted a strong sewage smell, even noticeable from outside the room. The hairdryer is very small, loose on the outside and tends to overheat very easily. The flush isn't very strong and many times you have to press it 2/3 times for it to work. The shower often experienced temperature drops. In my opinion, the property should also be taken care of in small details to make it more comfortable.

Upon arrival, we were asked for €10.80 for the tourist tax. It had to be paid in cash, nowhere in the booking did it state that this amount had to be paid upon arrival, nor that it had to be in cash. The hotel price is somewhat high, considering that the location is not central. There is a metro station right below.

The apartment was nice and the lady was super nice. There's also a small fridge in the room if you need it. The location wasn't very central, you have to pay attention to when the last bus home leaves but there are enough connections so it's easy.

I stayed for two nights. The check-in was quick and Davide very helpful and kind. The apartment is small but really comfortable and clean, it has everything. Located very close to the Re di Roma metro stop, so in an optimal position to move around the city, with all the restaurants and shops you need nearby. Definitely a place to choose if you want to visit Rome.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. The room is very clean, all new and comfortable. The location is great for moving around the city center (just a few minutes from the Colosseum area) and very convenient for the station. Davide is kind and helpful.

Very nice B&B, we stayed from December 29, 2018, to January 2, 2019. Small but well-kept, with only 3 rooms: one with a private bathroom and 2 with shared bathrooms. Superb location with the metro stop just 50 meters away, allowing you to reach all of Rome easily. Located in the king's area of Rome, very well served by various commercial activities in the area. Clean and quiet rooms, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast leaves you wanting for nothing. The owner, Valerio, is excellent, having the room ready for us at 10:15, almost 2 hours before check-in. What can I say: if you are in Rome for 3-4 days, stay at Home 57 Relais, you will feel at home.

Everything was very clean, free snacks and coffee in the kitchen with necessary facilities for cooking. Valerio gave us instructions on how to get from the airport and it really helped a lot, we liked the neighborhood and the Re di Roma metro station is 2 minutes from the front door.

The location served as an excellent base for traveling to and from the city center—it is near the Metro and there are numerous shops and restaurants close by. The host is wonderful. He kept our room and the shared kitchen immaculate, provided a good variety of food for breakfast and snacks, and was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. The bedroom itself was small, but had all essentials, including a nice bathroom, closet and small refrigerator. We particularly liked the fact the room (#2) has a nice window that can be opened for fresh air, even when it rained.

We stayed three days at this lovely B&B. Excellent location, close to public transport and full of restaurants at very affordable prices. The room was clean and the staff kind and very helpful (the true gentleman Valerio carried our luggage!). Excellent breakfast buffet always available, even during the day. The only advice we have to give is to add a small microwave, it would help to heat food more quickly than the stove since the kitchen is small. Thank you. Laura and Veronica.
