Description
The name ’Hakka House’ comes from the ancient name for a home or haven that offers comfort and relaxation, a home from home for the discerning traveller.
The property sits on the first floor or an elegant building. Inside the apartment you will find two spacious bedrooms with double beds & private bathroom. (in addition an extra bed or cot can be made available in each bedroom).
There is a seating area with a well equipped open plan kitchen for you to spend time relaxing after a busy day in the city.
HH is located in S Giovanni area just 30 meters from the “Ponte Lungo” underground station on the Metro A line and 500 meters from the FR1 train station “Stazione Tuscolana” that conveniently connect to Fiumicino airport. The availability of these services allows you to easily reach all places of interest including those outside of the traditional path of the two Metro lines in Rome, such as Trastevere and S. Lorenzo.
HH is on Via Albenga, a side street just off of Via Appia Nuova, a well known shopping street, with a vast selection of stores to visit. From there a short walk away brings you to S. Giovanni in Laterano Basilica, the “Scale Santa”, the Colosseum and so on. For market lovers the “Via Sannio” market is also a must, where you can find new and used bargains.
As a passionate traveler myself, I have used my experience to provide all guests with everything I feel is important when traveling, for example a bottle of water to refresh you on your arrival and complimentary tea and coffee in the seating/kitchen area. For guests traveling with children, can reserve strollers and travel cots in advance of your stay. In essence, everything to make your stay a real holiday.

From Fiumicino Airport
The FR1 train departs approx. every 15 minutes, take the train to “Stazione Tuscolana” and walk 10 minutes to Via Albenga
Take the Leonardo Express train, a non stop service which also departs approx. every 15 minutes. Once you reach “Stazione Termini” take the Metro line A (direction Anegnine) until you reach “Ponte Lungo” station. which is 30 meters from Via Albenga.
By Car
Take exit 23, direction Appia S. Giovanni, drive staight on to Via Nuove for about 10km. After Piazza Ponte Lungo turn left on to Via Don Orione, then left again on to Via Albenga. Hakka House is on the left, No. 33 Apt.1.

HH is five metro stops away from Termini Station and only a 10-minute walk from Tuscolana Railway Station, where the train from Fiumicino Airport stops.

6 nights spent at Hakka House. Simona welcomed us well and was always very helpful. Clean room, small but with a perfect bathroom. The metro is really close by (1 minute walk)! Personally, I find the bed a bit average and you can hear the neighbors upstairs a bit. I still recommend this place. Thank you again Simona for your kindness.

The Hakka House B&B is an excellent choice. The property is located in a quiet area, very close to the Ponte Lungo Metro A. The B&B is welcoming, family atmosphere, attention to detail. Impeccable cleanliness. The owner Simona was very kind and of exquisite availability. Definitely recommended!

The Hakka House B&B is a great choice to stay for a few days in Rome. The property is located in a quiet area, close to Ponte Lungo metro station. The B&B is cozy, welcoming; the cleanliness is impeccable. The owner Simona was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommendable!

I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. Large room, very clean, brand new and also very clean bathroom. A perfect area with very frequent transport (both metro and bus) and very close to the Hakka House (in a few minutes you are at Termini or in the center). Simona, the owner, is a very kind person, she waited for me with a smile even though I arrived much later than expected. I have a gluten intolerance and she did everything so that I can have a good breakfast, even cooking a gluten-free cake. It was a real pleasure and this Hakka House will undoubtedly be my point of return every time I come to Rome. Thanks again, Simona. Nicole.

Abbiamo trascorso due giorni all'Hakka House. All'arrivo abbiamo avuto una splendida accoglienza e trovato un clima amichevole. La struttura è moderna e giovanile, molto ben curata e molto pulita. Inoltre è stato facile muoverci, trovandoci a pochi metri dalla Metro e varie fermate bus. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e ci torneremo sicuramente alla prossima vacanza romana. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 (due coppie) in questo delizioso appartamento silenzioso, confortevole, pulitissimo e ristrutturato da pochissimo con amore e cura dei dettagli.
Sembrava di essere a casa.
La proprietaria, Simona, è veramente una bella persona, disponibile, di una gentilezza autentica, attenta e premurosa senza essere invadente, ci ha accolto insieme al marito e si è subito creato un rapporto molto simpatico, entrambi si sono anche preoccupati di salutarci alla partenza chiedendoci consigli e suggerimenti, il tutto in una piacevolissima chiacchierata come si fosse tra vecchi amici.
La casa è un vero gioiellino, da ogni dettaglio traspare la passione e l'entusiasmo che la proprietari mette nella gestione dei soggiorni dei suoi ospiti.
La posizione è piuttosto centrale e vicinissima alla metro.
Consiglio vivamente Hakka House e conto di tornare sicuramente.

Struttura nuovissima, molto accogliente e pulitissima. Situata a 30 metri dalla fermata della metropolitana e quindi comoda a girare Roma in tutta facilità. Il wifi è una bomba. La gentilezza e la cortesia sono di casa come anche la simpatia. Un sicuro punto di riferimento per le nostre future visite alla capitale. La posizione è perfetta perché anche se non in centro è veramente vicino alla fermata della metro (30 mt massimo).

Abbiamo soggiornato per un weekend in questa struttura. L'appartamento è decisamente pulito e nuovissimo, vicino al centro di Roma e la metro è a pochi passi dal portone. La proprietaria Simona ci ha accolto con molta cortesia ed è stata molto disponibile. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura per chi vuol trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno romano e per chi ama alloggiare in un ambiente comodo e pulito.
