Guest House Hola Roma

Rooms were not very clean, especially the bathroom. Towels were missing. We booked with breakfast included but there was no breakfast. The location is good, but given the value for money we will definitely choose another place next time.

I slept, so to speak, in a very ugly room. Negative experience.

The positive thing is the location, just a stone's throw from the station and in the center, for the rest...

No breakfast despite being called a b&b. Cramped and old room. Bathroom without bidet and showerhead. Upon arrival, towels were missing. There was only a small soap. Few power outlets and there was no possibility to turn on a bedside lamp. The courtesy of the manager diminishes when thinking about the room. Central location but in a not very nice context.

We made a booking for the one night in Rome at the "Guest House Hola Roma" for more than one hundred euros a night. The reservation was made based on the pictures of the room (as we usually do) but our experience was simply shocking. We received a room that does not correspond to the pictures, dirty with a bath room with a terrible smell of the sewage, with mold and rust. We asked to change the room, but we were told that it was impossible and we were allowed to leave but without any refund. A room like this does not meet any conceivable standard. It was the most horrible night we ever spent in amazing Rome. And every owner of the place who respects himself and his guests would apologize and offer us a compensation for the upset.

Dated structure but well located. Very helpful staff. Just 1 minute from Termini station, our room had air conditioning, fridge, and private bathroom. Essential breakfast in a nearby bar. Good cleanliness. We checked in well in advance and could leave our luggage at check-out without any problems or extra charge. The price is fair for what it offers.

Structure located near Termini station, theoretically convenient for short stays related to events. Malodorous urine-scented elevator. The person who had cleaned it had tried, without success, to solve the problem. Unfortunately, the structure is in indecent conditions. We were not expected at the entrance, despite having reported our arrival through the portal. To contact the structure, I found a contact on Google and only then did a person come up to open for us. In front of the entrance there was a worn mattress and a trash bag with dirty towels. The room was reasonably tidy but only superficially clean. The desk had the space for the fridge which was missing. Uncovered sockets, small and dusty wardrobe inside. The bathroom was clean in terms of ordinary cleaning but it had a shower encrusted with limescale in many spots, partially clogged shower head, and grayed towels. Hot water only available at times. While it's true that by spending little you can't expect a lot, there should be minimal guaranteed services in every type of structure.

For the price paid, certainly not much was to be expected, the room was on the sixth floor, small, shower and facilities at the limit of necessity, but on the other hand a stone's throw from Termini station. The owner or manager who welcomed us was very helpful. The neighborhood very questionable.

The property is very near to Termini station and the room is comfortable for all four of us. But there is no display of the hotel name outside the building, which made it difficult to figure out. Also, the shower in the bathroom is not working well. The property is a bit old but overall the stay was ok.

Room is a bit small but functional. Friendly staff, great welcome.

Does not reflect the photos, the price is high for the quality of the rooms, appropriate breakfast, very kind reception.

The host welcomed me warmly. The room is old but clean.

The room on the 4th floor in a building with several b&bs and hotels. Each floor has one or more. The room is fair for Rome, where good accommodations are very expensive. The advantage is the proximity to Termini, which greatly facilitates transportation. But it's a more chaotic area of the city. The air conditioning works and cools well, which was great on hot days in Rome. The bathroom is tight and splashes water everywhere and a bit on the person showering. Tip: remove the showerhead and use only the pipe.

The cleanliness of the room was really bad. There was a lot of dust, the sheets seemed not to have been changed (they were dirty and there were hairs), the duvet was visibly dirty. The bathroom was tiny and there was mold. The shower had not been cleaned, it was really disgusting. The furniture was very old, there were no bedside tables. Definitely not recommended, the only positive thing is the proximity to Termini station.

I had booked a specific room, based on the website images, at Guest House Hola Roma and instead, upon arrival, I was accommodated in a room at Viennese Due, albeit in the same building. I was told, in fact, that the room was occupied (sic!). Furthermore, I waited, before being accommodated, for a good 40 minutes. \nI protested, politely, with the Filipino lady who welcomed me (the third person I interacted with: an Italian and a foreigner over the phone), feeling even called a racist. \nThe room, old if not dilapidated, assigned to me had some dusty furniture, there were some mosquitoes (in the middle of November) and the towels were stained (how clean were they?) and holey. \nThe case, never happened to me before, was objectively worth reporting to the Carabinieri, but I preferred to let go of the night and leave alone because the next day I had a very important commitment at a public office. \nThe experience is not to be repeated. I sensed that who knows how many similar 'managements' there might be in the Termini station area. \nThe structure is highly not recommended!

Absolutely dreadful structure. The images in the ad are very misleading, everything looks new but some rooms have very old furniture. Tiny rooms, two people cannot move continuously. Bathrooms full of mold. Very poor cleaning. The only positive note, the location.
