Description

This cozy home is just a few meters away from Appia and the A metro line, Furio Camillo stop, located on Via Camilla 40, parallel to Viale Furio Camillo. It is in a small building from the early 1900s that houses only one apartment and the Furio Camillo Theater, one of the most important spaces for theatrical experimentation in Rome and Italy.

The entire area is served by the A metro line, which takes about 20 minutes to get to San Pietro passing through San Giovanni, Termini Station, and Piazza di Spagna. There are numerous places nearby, such as multiscreen cinemas, pubs, restaurants, saunas, and gyms, as well as night buses that connect Furio Camillo with the city center.

The apartment offers three rooms with private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a large terrace. The rooms are spacious and bright, with high ceilings of 4 meters, cozy, and each equipped with a TV with digital terrestrial.

The entire area is also served by the A metro line, which takes about 20 minutes to get to San Pietro passing through San Giovanni, Termini Station, and Piazza di Spagna (after 9 pm with buses M1 and M2).

Moreover, the apartment is also reachable by the following buses:
- 85 (p. zza S. Silvestro/Tuscolana);
- 16 (zona Termini/Tuscolana);
- FM1 train stop Tuscolana (Ostiense Station/Trastevere Station/Tuscolana Station/Tiburtina Station)
- From Fiumicino Airport with FM1 train direction Orte, stop at Tuscolana
- From Ciampino Airport, it is no more than a 25-minute drive using Via Appia Nuova until the intersection with Via Camilla.

The entire area is served by the A metro line which takes about 20 minutes to reach San Pietro passing through S. Giovanni, Termini station, and Piazza di Spagna (after 9pm with buses M1 and M2). Additionally, there are several bus routes available including 85 (Piazza S. Silvestro/Tuscolana), 16 (Termini/Tuscolana area), and the FM1 train stopping at Tuscolana station (Ostiense station, Trastevere station, Tuscolana station, Tiburtina station). From Fiumicino Airport, take the FM1 train towards Orte and get off at Tuscolana station. From Ciampino Airport, it is a journey of no more than 25 minutes by car taking Via Appia Nuova until the intersection with Via Camilla.

We stayed two nights at the property. We found it clean and tidy, close to the metro in a well-served and safe neighborhood. I thank the owner who, when contacted, accommodated our needs for check-in. The room was spacious and quiet. The private bathroom, although outside the room, proved to be convenient. The building is a bit dated, but considering the price, it is a good compromise.

The host was really friendly and it was a breath of fresh air not to be ripped off. This business really knows how to manage its B&B. The rooms were clean, the host was friendly, and the location was near Furio Camillo subway station (a 4-minute walk). I would stay here again without hesitation.

Accommodation was great, host too. Room was very clean and comfortable for 4 persons. Metro is very close and has good connection. Recommendation - buy ticket for 7 days. It costs 24 euro. You can use all transports with ticket. Technical support in accommodation was correct (air condition, wifi, TV,...). Only disadvantage was a noise at the night because they cleaned trashbins under the window and it could be problem if you travel with small kids because of their awaking of loud sounds outside. But if you close window then it's okey.

The structure is not brand new, but the room was very clean. Comfortable bed and clean, new sheets. Our room overlooked an internal area, which also spared us from disturbing external noises. Very convenient to the metro in a fairly quiet part of Rome. Great value for money.

The structure is easily reachable by metro and/or train from Fiumicino, in a very quiet area between Via Appia Nuova and Via Furio Camillo. The manager is a very kind and helpful person. The room with private bathroom is clean, the only drawback is the lack of breakfast as it is not included.

The hotel is very close to the center of the city with the metro, so it was very convenient. We had a problem with the toilet that did not flush for half of our stay. I wrote the first day but received an answer only because I came across somebody the same night. He told me he was going to fix it. We stayed half of our stay without a toilet. The shower is good, just sometimes the water is freezing while taking a shower. Overall, the room is clean.

Apart from the friendliness of the staff, unfortunately we do not give a passing grade to the structure. Upon arrival, the room was cold and the air conditioning system was not enough to heat the room, furthermore, the bathroom lacked heating and a trash can, linen provided for the bare minimum.

Huge, clean room and very close to the metro. Friendly host. Area well served, many shops nearby. I would strongly suggest a small investment to improve the quality of the stay: blackout curtains on the window and new mattresses.

Regular.\nIn my experience too far from the center, even though by metro you can get there in 15 minutes, when you're just spending a weekend it's a bit annoying to depend on this. (considering that at 11pm they stop running) \nBy bus it takes more than 30 minutes. (last one at midnight) \nAs for the area, it wasn't bad, but in front of the apartment door there were many garbage bags and a bad smell in the staircase (it's on the first floor, there's no elevator) but other than that the room was very clean. \nThe manager was very kind but they don't keep your luggage after check out (10am) and it doesn't include breakfast. \nI don't recommend it for a weekend, maybe for a longer stay it could be fine since there's a mini fridge in the room. \nI went for just 1 night and didn't get to explore the area in depth, but it's close to a metro station, there are bars and shops, it's a commercial area.
