What guests say

Guests particularly value the location, a short walk from the Vatican and St Peter’s, with bus stops and other transport nearby. Rooms are generally very clean and well equipped, and the host is often praised for being friendly and attentive. Complimentary coffee, tea and snacks are a welcome extra. Some rooms may feel small; one review also noted nighttime noise and difficulties with check-in.

Great location for the Vatican and Prati. The room was a bit small for a four-night stay. Fortunately, we were generously offered an upgrade on the second night. Excellent host.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, only a 5-minute walk from the Vatican. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was an excellent, fully stocked kitchen including complimentary bottled water, sparkling wine, cookies, biscuits and espresso. Valentina was a gracious host and answered all our questions. She also arranged and prebooked our airport transfer for an early morning ride.

Well situated near the Vatican and with easy access to Fiumicino airport via the local rail. The room does not have a lot of floor space but is well appointed, with amazingly quiet air conditioning, and the little shady balcony was a bonus. Excellent, good-sized bathroom. The small shared kitchen area and the availability of pastries, tea and coffee worked well. There was even a teapot, which is a rare find in Italy. Would definitely use again.

Perfect location near the Vatican. The host was very sweet, met us onsite and let us stow our bags until our room was ready since we arrived early. She provided snacks and pastries and a common area to make coffee. I definitely recommend it.

The location is good, but the service was unfortunately not satisfactory. At the requested and confirmed check-in time no one was on site. Calls were initially not answered, which did not leave a good impression. The room itself is nice; however, the neighbors were very noisy even in the middle of the night, so we could not sleep through a single night. The check-out was unfortunately also unclear. Based on our experience, we would not book this accommodation again, although it was very reasonably priced.

10/10. Very good overall. The only issue, due to my personal need for my spine, is that I need a firm, flat bed; this bed was soft and dipped in the middle and had no slats. We loved everything else though.

We had a great stay at the Fornaci Guest House. The Guest House is very close to the Vatican, about a 7 minute walk. We have been walking a lot, from the Guest House to the Colosseum is a little less than an hour. The guest house does not supply a real breakfast, but there is a coffee corner in the hall, with muffins and cookies, on the room is a small basket with packaged croissants, so you don’t have to go outside with an empty stomach. The room and bathroom are very neat and clean, we did not see the host very much, but she took very good care of us.

Grazie per la sua recensione e la sua valutazione. Vogliamo precisare che noi non abbiamo la colazione. Affittiamo camere con bagno privato ma senza nessun pasto.
