Folia Musei Vaticani is a welcoming guest house with a natural feel in Rome’s Prati neighbourhood, in the Vatican area, about an 8-minute walk from the Vatican Museums and 15 minutes from St. Peter’s Basilica. It is close to Ottaviano Metro Station on Line A, providing easy access to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.
A strategic location for experiencing Rome, set within a historic and elegant residential complex featuring an internal courtyard and garden, in a quiet residential setting.
The property offers two bright rooms with a natural and relaxing atmosphere, custom-furnished using sustainable materials. Both feature a private en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV, fast free Wi-Fi and a relaxing area with a table and armchairs, where guests can enjoy the included self-service Italian breakfast.
Guests also have access to a shared, equipped common area with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and espresso coffee machine.

Perfect location and peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent, a short walk from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's, yet the property is situated in a very quiet courtyard with a lovely garden. Ottaviano metro station is very close and allows easy access to the city center and other areas of Rome. Getting from Fiumicino airport was also very simple. The room was bright, clean, with a pleasant natural atmosphere and everything I needed for my stay. The bathroom is private. The owner was very kind and helpful, gave me many tips on places to visit and also a map of Rome. I really appreciated the possibility to leave luggage after check-out and to freely use the coffee machine during the stay. Breakfast was simple, tasty and perfect to start the day. I highly recommend it and if I return to Rome, I will definitely stay again at Folia Musei Vaticani.

I stayed in this brand-new guesthouse and I can only speak highly of it. The apartment has only two rooms (mine overlooked the inner garden) and a shared kitchen. The property is close to the Vatican/St. Peter's Basilica and the Ottaviano metro station and has been renovated using entirely natural products, from the wall paints to the handcrafted, custom-made wooden furniture. Nowadays this is something truly important. It is located within a splendid complex with a well-kept and, above all, very quiet garden. In the room I found everything I needed, as well as a variety of breakfast items always available in the kitchen. It also has very fast Wi-Fi, perfect if you need to work or if you are doing smart working like me. A special thanks to the owner, Federico, who gave me lots of information about the city and restaurant recommendations, which proved incredibly useful for enjoying the city to the fullest. I highly recommend this place and I am sure I will return very soon.
