Domina Romae B&B is a cozy Bed and Breakfast nestled in the heart of the Aurelio neighborhood, just a stone's throw from the Vatican and surrounded by various shops. The property is conveniently located only twenty meters from the Baldo degli Ubaldi metro station (line A), providing quick access in 2 minutes to the Vatican and the center of Rome, and in 10 minutes to Termini Station.

With convenient transportation options such as bus lines and Cotral within walking distance, easy connection to the rest of the city and the nearby seaside locations of Fregene and the Lazio coast is accessible. Those traveling by car will find convenient access through exit 1 of the Vatican City-Aurelia on the Grande Raccordo Anulare.

Each room has its assigned table based on color, where you can indulge in croissants, toast, tartlets, cakes, cereals, and chocolate accompanied by the sweet taste of jams and Nutella, which offer our guests an extra smile. Fresh juices, milk, and good coffee happily water the morning breakfasts, giving you more energy to face your Roman days. The Aurelio Neighborhood is one of the largest in Rome.

From the Vatican City, it stretches north, crossed by the eponymous street, one of the consular roads built to connect Rome to the Tuscan and Ligurian colonies.

Starting from Porta Cavalleggeri and continuing along via Gregorio VII, you arrive at Piazza Carpegna, where the eponymous villa overlooks it with its splendid park, once a hunting reserve of the princes.

Along the ancient Aurelia, you will find the park of Villa Doria Pamphili, one of the largest in Rome, a green lung that borders the neighborhoods of Monte Verde and Trastevere, where Romans love to go jogging and relax, and where it is not difficult to meet famous people in workout clothes and sneakers.

In the newer part of the neighborhood, there is a strong commercial vocation, with the presence of numerous large distribution centers.

In the Aurelio neighborhood, besides the famous Vatican City literally around the corner, you can also find the Ergife Hotel, one of the most famous in Rome, used by public and private institutions for job competitions and selections.

Great structure, clean. The lady is welcoming and helpful. The bath towels are changed every day. Breakfast is not included, but we could make coffee, tea, cappuccino, and use the refrigerator provided with juices and water.

Located in a quiet and very convenient location to metro line A. The room we stayed in is sufficiently comfortable and spacious. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The offered breakfast is based on packaged products but still in sufficient quantity. In its simplicity, the structure is still very well maintained; in particular, we appreciated the choice to recall the colors of the rooms also in the breakfast room.

No matter the reason you decide to stay at this B&B (for non-touristic commitments, budget reasons, or lifestyle), it will be very difficult to have a bad memory. The managers are good people who really make you feel at home, and this alone could be enough to finish the review and choose to book with peace of mind. Additionally, I add that it is in a strategic location, with public transportation nearby and quickly reaching the city center, with restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity. Furthermore, the property has been recently renovated, so the rooms and bathrooms are all new and spacious, in a quiet and peaceful area. My experience was super positive.

We had a great time in this Domina Romae B&B, clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The proximity to the metro station (2 minutes on foot) allows you to reach the center comfortably and quickly. Very kind and friendly managers. The breakfast included in the price is very practical, simple but abundant and pleasant. Recommended, the structure is located in a quiet place, well connected both by bus and by metro line A easily reachable, Angelo is welcoming and available for any request. To say it was a TOP experience is an understatement. Cozy, clean, comfortable place, close to the metro, very easy to reach by train or bus, while by car you have to be lucky to find parking nearby but it's worth it, very convenient also for the nearby refreshments. Simone and his wife welcomed us with a smile ☺️ and were helpful, kind, and wonderful, I also recommend the pub where Mr. Simone works, where you can feel all the human warmth of Rome. If I had to come back to Rome, I would definitely go there again. I recommend it.

The manager was very polite and helpful in showing me how to get to IDI. Really very close to the property. The manager exempted me and my husband from the tourist tax as for hospital stays you don't pay. Extremely clean room and excellent bathroom. Thank you for the hospitality.

Very pleasant stay even though not for leisure but for visits to IDI. The structure is attached to the dermatological institute of the immaculate. The internal parking, albeit for a fee, was a lifesaver as parking is very difficult to find in the area. Thanks to the always available and friendly manager, giving this B&B an added value.

The subway is very close and the Vatican City can also be reached on foot. The private parking is paid, but unfortunately in this area parking spots are very rare. The private bathroom was spotless, as well as the room. A thank you to Angelo, always kind and helpful.

L'IDI is practically 2 steps from Domina Romae B&B. I had to stay here for 3 days and I must say I couldn't have found better. The owner made us feel comfortable immediately. The room is very clean and the private bathroom is brilliant. The price? 45 euros per night for 2 people. He also pointed out that the tourist taxes for visitors and companions do not have to be paid. Watch out for those who ask you for these taxes! I really thank the staff for their honesty and treatment. Truly fabulous.

My wife, my daughter, and I spent only 3 days in this property, but I can only have a positive opinion, as it is a beautiful, clean, well-kept, and functional B&B. The rooms are spacious and roomy, so much so that calling them rooms is reductive, equipped with all the necessary comforts to make guests comfortable and fully independent. Our room had a 46-inch TV, a balcony, and an en-suite bathroom. This B&B is located in a strategic position, right behind the Vatican and the metro literally below the house, with the added value provided by the owner, Angelo, a very helpful and excellent company, as well as very friendly! Highly recommended.
