The location of the property is excellent, especially due to the proximity to the hospital, which is why I chose it. The welcome and kindness of the staff are exceptional. Their empathy and availability are truly commendable! The cleanliness is the same! I highly recommend it.

Convenient, easy to reach, clean. Great for those like me who needed a quick solution. Restaurants, bars, and everything you need are nearby. Excellent value for money. The manager is very knowledgeable with detailed instructions, even with online check-in.

Accommodation in a very convenient area for me as I needed to go to Umberto I Hospital for a week. I recommend it to anyone who has the same need. Very close to the subway and in a university area. The manager and collaborator are very kind and helpful. Single room with all essentials, facing an internal courtyard and therefore a bit dark. Triple room spacious, airy and facing the street with a small balcony with two chairs and a table. Great for relaxing at the end of the day.

Clean and bright room in a well-served area. The owner is very helpful. Recommended!

Caterina Goodnight is the worst B&B I have ever encountered. Dirty, poorly lit, where there is the breakfast area, at the entrance in the corridor, you constantly have to turn on the light that is on a timer. The duvet had three disgusting yellow stains. Inside the shower, there was mold, and the wall of my room was dirty. There is no fixed staff to turn to in the afternoon, after 1 PM, so I could not have breakfast the next day because the coffee machine was not working and there was no one to explain how to do it. It was impossible for me to pay to get the receipt immediately due to the lack of staff. So the owner told me to leave the money in the room, which I obviously refused, and I paid by bank transfer. Really awful, I will never go back, and it should be removed from the circuit if it stays as it is.

After the first night in the establishment, the manager canceled the reservation for the following two nights because, according to him, I had made demanding requests and had an aggressive and hostile attitude towards him. Although I had not been offensive, I had to apologize, while I did not receive any apologies. I had only contacted via WhatsApp because, until that moment, there was no one in the establishment, even though I had been told that someone would be there in the morning. I had requested and demanded the following things: to be able to pay a person and receive a receipt rather than leaving cash in the room; tea for breakfast (there was only coffee or barley); a persistent light on the common shelf where guests prepare their breakfast (there is only very dim lighting from the hallway, with a timer, which goes off while pouring liquids, and there is not even an indicator light to find the switch). In a double room, there is only one chair, so breakfast is either eaten standing or sitting on the bed. The vindictive tone was not mine but that of the manager who effectively kicked me out. I had written that I would deduct the cost of breakfast at the bar if I did not have tea, but I did not do that even though I had to go down the first morning. It would take little to improve the establishment: stable lighting in the corner where breakfast is prepared; instructions for preparing it; more cutlery for breakfast; alternatively, an agreement with the bar below, attached to the entrance door. Clear information on payment, and if it is really not possible with traceable payments, do not expect to leave cash unattended. Greater kindness and compliance from the manager (the staff on-site were instead kind).

I must preface that I have spent little time in the accommodation (exclusively for overnight stays) and I cannot really complain. The structure is a bit dated but comfortable and convenient. What I appreciated the most was: comfortable bed and a very quiet room, well soundproofed. The breakfast is acceptable and although there is everything necessary to prepare even a cappuccino, it lacks milk. The manager is very kind and proactive in being helpful, which offsets any possible defects. As far as I am concerned, since I occasionally return to Rome, I will keep it in mind again. As I already suggested to the owner, I would have appreciated finding a bottle of water in the room as a welcome.

The room is very spacious, with an excellent location for most of the faculties and for the Policlinico. Some aesthetic details need to be reviewed, but for the price, the area, and the size of the rooms, I can only be satisfied.

We stayed for one night, the room was simple but absolutely clean, along with the bathroom. The manager was very kind and helpful, congratulations for the management of the check-in and the organization of the keys to enter and exit. I recommend it, also for the prices in line with the services offered.

Convenient structure due to its proximity to the University La Sapienza. Excellent customer management with all the precise instructions from the manager.

The property was in a good location, everything worked - most importantly the air conditioning which made it comfortable to sleep. The breakfast was pre-packaged but there was enough and you could help yourself to more coffee (or tea) from the machine in the corridor if you wanted to. Alternatively, there is a cafe below where you can get a good breakfast and coffee very cheaply if that is your preference! Overall, very good value for money.

Completely in need of renovation. No one present on site. Sheets with holes, light keyboard possibly originally white. The only positive note is the proximity to the university.

It is a room in a bed and breakfast in a normal building. We had an issue with the elevator (our fault), but the people living in other apartments in the building started shouting and even threatened my 78-year-old grandmother. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it. The rest, the quality-price ratio is good, close to the metro and the host is kind and helpful.

Not really a B&B. More like rooms in a converted apartment. My room was previously the kitchen, with sink and stove vent still there. Very dark. Small window with lots of junk stuffed into the balcony.

Good logistical location but definitely expensive for what it offers. It's definitely not a B&B but more like a student dormitory.

My room was essentially the utility room of the structure and certainly not the room I thought I had booked. Walls as thin as tissue paper, non-existent breakfast.

Our worst B&B experience in Italy and abroad. Everything is old or nearly broken. Breakfast is no breakfast, only biscuits and a bottle of juice. There are so many noises coming from neighbors' rooms (walls are made of paper) and from the street (windows are not sealed to the wall). Never again. One excellent point: everything is clean on a daily basis.

Spacious, bright, well-maintained room. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Breakfast could be improved with a few more coffee capsules and fresher snacks.

Very kind and welcoming staff, spacious room with a great terrace. The cleanliness was mostly good, except for a small area on the ceiling a bit musty due to the dating, but overall a very clean room. As for breakfast, it was always available but often of poor quantity, with very small portions, an aspect definitely to work on. Overall, my experience was completely positive, both for the price, the services, and the friendliness offered by this bed and breakfast. If I were to return to Rome in the future, I would definitely choose to come back to this property!

Excellent welcome and professionalism. Simple but clean and tidy room. The only flaw is the breakfast with packaged snacks, but there is an excellent bar downstairs. We are still satisfied with the stay and recommend Caterina Goodnight.

The manager is very kind. The environment is very clean. Regarding breakfast, it would be better to provide a voucher to use at the bar downstairs.

Torn sheets, very dirty curtains, malfunctioning shower. Two packaged cakes left open at the entrance for days, not even water for breakfast. I emphasize the possibility of payment only in cash. Not recommended.

Insufficient services to improve: shower, breakfast.

Cozy rooms, maximum cleanliness and proximity to the metro stop. Kind staff. I will come back!

I must say that I was not looking for a charming or particularly elegant structure, but simply the one closest to Umberto I Hospital in Rome, and, in my opinion, Caterina Goodnight is top in this! Besides, many structures in Rome are dated and vintage. The important thing is that the room was clean, and I cannot complain about this. Of course, some adjustments here and there should be made... Stay in sufficiency.

A really nice place to stay - home away from home and in the vicinity of several fabulous eateries.

Overall more than sufficient given the current economic situation. Breakfast needs improvement. Perhaps a voucher for the bar downstairs would be better.

We had a good time at this place. It was a nice place, conveniently located near the metro. We appreciated the fact that we could check in early and when we were leaving, we were able to leave our luggage in the hallway and were given a spare key. The wifi and air conditioning were great. Additionally, the price was good.

The 'Caterina Goodnight' structure is a bit dated, but clean. The room is narrow, but for the cost, the quality-price ratio is excellent. Breakfast is poorly provided.

Positive points: price and central location. Negative points: The structure needs a refresh (walls, furniture, blankets, and curtains); Not very quiet: besides the traffic, early morning drills, water drains, bathroom pump; Included breakfast: packaged snacks of low quality, self-service corner with coffee machine, open milk who knows by whom and for how many days, open donut who knows for how many days without a container (luckily there's a bar next to the door) It is not allowed to pay with a credit card (if I'm not mistaken we paid even more than what was written on the website €87) YOU SHOULD HAVE SPECIFIED IT BEFORE.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean facility and 10 minutes from Umberto I.

Nice Bed & Breakfast! I paid in cash without receiving an invoice! Italian coffee is good but without water, milk, biscuits, jams, honeys, cocoa and more.

Great for those who want to visit the center of Rome, just a few minutes away from the metro and bus stops! The room was clean, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Quiet area near La Sapienza University, highly recommend to everyone.

Balcony unusable cluttered with broken furniture. Ridiculous breakfast, with coffee maker and milk jug in the dark hallway with timed light (short). They would have done better to give a voucher for the bar downstairs. Hard mattress, pillow filled with balls, very noisy bed.

Overall, the accommodation was acceptable. Unfortunately, the entire amount had to be paid in cash. The breakfast was meager. The accommodation was suitable for a short stay.

Structure positioned in a strategic location: perfect for those who need to move around the Policlinico-Sapienza area, metro stop within a 5-8 minute walk with the possibility of easily reaching the center, area well served by bars, restaurants, and copy shops. Clean room, although the indicated towel change (3 nights) did not happen. There is no real common room to sit and have breakfast, but you prepare breakfast and take it to the room to eat. Overall, good experience.

The worst Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in, my wife and I. It can't even be called a Bed and Breakfast. It consists of rooms converted from an apartment, where there isn't even a shared kitchen for breakfast. Let's not even talk about breakfast: packaged snacks and juices, to be consumed in a room where there isn't even a decent table. And what about the quality of the room and the apartment in general? Dirty walls, broken tiles, a bed with a 70s style frame without even a headboard, broken bedside tables. And what about the towels: they assured us they would change them after 2 days, instead we kept them for a third day, all damp because the bathroom didn't even have a functioning heater. The Bed and Breakfast manager, despite being "available" on Whatsapp, never showed up. He left one of his helpers to do the check-in, if you can call it that. To top it off in true Italian style: no receipt, of course! The helper requested it via Whatsapp from the manager upon our request, who then at least sent it to us. By the way, the photo on this website does not match the horrible room we were given!

Considering the prices of the facilities in the surrounding area, the value for money is excellent. The B&B is nice, the room may not be the best, but I have to say that I felt very good, comfortable bed. Dario was exquisitely kind and I thank him so much for his availability. Until next time.

Small but quite cozy.

Too bad about the breakfast.

I spent two nights in a comfortable room, with a comfortable double bed and en-suite bathroom. Excellent location, with the subway I moved easily to visit the beauties of Rome. Very convenient for those who have to take exams at the university. Dario assisted us for the check-in and check-out. The staff was very kind.

The structure has an excellent location but is lacking in details that make the difference. A few more precautions would be enough to make the stay perfect. Such as not using worn bedding and bathroom linen or offering different products for breakfast, perhaps partnering with a bar near the structure (one is right below). More attention should also be paid to cleanliness.

Dirty rooms full of dust, poor breakfast, no water in the coffee machine and no milk.

Clean room. Shower head held up with film (and it doesn't stay straight). The toilet drain tray is very noisy. The adapter plug for the hairdryer was missing but as soon as requested it was provided. Bed with thin mattress and slightly sagging bed frame. Abundant breakfast with supermarket products, overall positive.

The room and the bathroom are clean, the staff is courteous and helpful. The mattress is uncomfortable and I found it antiquated as well as inconvenient not being able to make electronic payments.

Good facility, unsatisfactory breakfast.

I stayed two nights at the Caterina Goodnight property. Personally, I believe there are some things that need improvement. The room's shutter was broken and completely lowered, preventing air circulation. I expected to find a double bed, instead I found two single beds, so I recommend at least finding a way to keep the two structures together. I also suggest improving the management of the laundry, especially regarding towels. Definitely, the location is good and so is the cleanliness of the premises.

Excellent accommodation and comfort. Especially considering the very cheap price.

The room very good, good geographical location with metro tram bus, easy city center. \nSo the bed good, but the breakfast terrible. \nSo on the name leave only bed Caterina.

All in all, the structure is not bad, renovated and very clean. However, in the room we had several non-functioning power outlets, the bidet faucet was broken, and the TV was outdated and faulty, it was all green when it worked, with an external decoder also faulty or non-functioning. The location is good, with several commercial activities nearby and within walking distance. I have never seen the manager, only the staff in charge of room cleaning, but this is not important. The staff was very kind and polite. I did not receive any receipt for my stay and I paid on time along with the tourist tax. The value for money needs to be reviewed, I think I paid a bit too much considering also the 20-minute distance from the center. The breakfast consisted of pastries from the supermarket, empty croissants always from the supermarket, and fruit juices that were not replaced throughout the stay, except 3 times out of 4 in my case. Furthermore, the structure does not have a shared kitchen.

The property is in an optimal location, with metro B and bus stops at short distances perfectly walkable. The availability and discretion of the manager and the reception service made our stay very relaxed and free from constraints. Breakfast is sufficient for those who do not expect a buffet or active cooking. The premises are clean, with some minor neglectable defects (for example, the hot bath was a bit dusty). Exceptional value for money. I recommend it to those looking for fairly central, comfortable, and economical accommodation, for travelers who want to be out and about.

Great location (metro B, tram and bus stops in the immediate vicinity). Essential but with everything you need. Poor breakfast, but there are two bars right below the b&b, so I don't consider it a problem. Helpful host. Excellent value for money.

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for two nights, cleanliness is mediocre. The shutter is broken, the first night we slept with the blind raised. They don't accept card payments, cash only. You are welcomed by a young man to hand you the keys, he gives few information about the structure. The breakfast is almost non-existent, in the room you will find coffee pods and packaged pastries and juices. The only positive thing is the location, close to the metro.

The structure is essential, clean, and the staff is very kind. The breakfast is a bit sparse. Overall, the value for money is good! I would recommend it.

Great value for money. The staff is very welcoming. The location is optimal. It would be good to improve the lights in the corridor with automatic activation, as you risk walking the entire corridor in the dark. If I need accommodation again, I will definitely return to the same facility. I recommend it.

Basic structure, for basic needs.

We spent a day at Caterina Goodnight. The expectations were not disappointed. Efficient services, accurate room cleaning, kindness and availability from the reception staff. It was truly a pleasant stay.

Functional, quiet, well furnished and welcoming, just what is needed.\n\nI appreciated the availability of the manager.\n\nI will definitely come back.\n\nAn unexciting note for breakfast that affects the final score, certainly maybe a deal with the bar on the ground floor would have been ideal.
