Magliana, Trullo and Colle del Sole are three districts of Rome located in the southwest of the city, near the Tiber River and the Via Portuense. They are quiet and residential neighborhoods, with various services such as shops, supermarkets, local markets, schools and hospitals. Magliana is the oldest and most historic of the three, with archaeological evidence from Roman and medieval times. Trullo is a popular and multi-ethnic neighborhood, characterized by low and colorful houses. Colle del Sole is the most modern and elegant of the three, with curtain buildings and large green spaces.
