Description
Casa Sophia is a beautifully renovated loft equipped with every detail to provide our clients with everything they need for a comfortable vacation. You will have access to a private bathroom complete with a hairdryer, toiletries, and towels. The environment is air-conditioned. Linen service is included. There is a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and espresso machine. There is a double bed and a sofa bed for any additional guests. A camping cot is also available on request. The entrance to the house is independent.

The property is located in an area called "Torpignattara".
This name derives from a popular name attributed to the Mausoleum of Helen, erected by the Son, the Emperor Constantine I between 326 and 330 d. C.
This mausoleum stands within an area formerly called "Ad duas Lauros" which includes, inter alia, the buried remains of a basilica leaning against the mausoleum and in the subsoil, the catacombs of Saints Marcellinus and Peter.
In the upper drum structure, partly collapsed, there are some pignatte used to lighten the construction. The popular imagination first coined the term "tower of the pignatte" to indicate the monument and the surrounding area. Over time the term became "Torpignattara".
The area today intensely populated is full of services and business premises and is well connected to the center. McDonald 150 m away, various centers for large-scale distribution within walking distance. Trendy bars in the immediate vicinity. The Hospital of the Daughters of San Camillo is also very close. The area hosts a melting pot of nationalities and cultures, an example of integration.
