Comfortable and intimate B&B Colle Mattia is located in Rome on the slopes of the Castelli Romani, about 10 minutes from Ciampino airport and just 2 miles from the A1 (Rome-Naples).
It 'consists of a portion of our newly built house, and has a living room, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom for private use, has a separate entrance and is for the exclusive use;
For our guests there is also a private car park is free of charge.
The B&B is just a few minutes from both the University Campus and Hospital of Tor Vergata (PTV) and the ENEA Research Center of CNR.
The center of Rome is reachable by car, by public transport (bus stop at 50 mt.), Or with the train at the station of Colle Mattia which is located 2 km from the b & b.,
A few miles away. we are three beautiful countries, Porzio, Montecompatri and Frascati, from which in many respects these villages you can admire a unique view of the city of Rome.
For those who want to shop, we are centrally located between the commercial centers of Tor Vergata, Romanina, Ikea and the Roma Est shopping mall, one of the largest in Italy.
In less than half an hour drive you can be at the Outlet Valmontone where there are shops of the biggest brands at competitive prices and for those who love fun, always in Valmontone there is Rainbow Park, attraction of new games big and small!

Mrs. Rina was very kind. We had a very short stay and found a beautiful, very clean little house with a super comfortable bed. I recommend the place, which is well connected. Although surrounded by vineyards, it is easy and quick to reach the center of Rome. We will definitely return.

B&B Colle Mattia is a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay, and our hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant. We flew to Italy from the UK and used trains, metro, and buses for transport with little difficulty. The only complication we faced was on our first evening when Google Maps advised us to take the Trenitalia FL6 train from Termini Station to Colle Mattia Station (which Google said was the fastest option and which appeared on the Termini departures board). Unfortunately, the train staff told us at the entry gate that our travel tickets (the Roma 72 Pass) were not valid for that train. They simply told us to buy another ticket, which made no sense to us. Instead, we used Metro Line C, which took twice as long, but our hosts very kindly picked us up from Pantano Station so we didn't need to take the 054 bus to their home. When we went to Colle Mattia station the next morning, there was no mention of the FL6 train on the departures or arrivals boards. Instead, it showed regional (RV) Trenitalia trains that have five-digit identifiers (e.g., 12702), and we were able to use our passes on those trains without a problem. We enjoyed a wonderful three days in Rome, the hosts were lovely, and the accommodation was perfect for us. The only thing we thought could have been improved was that the kitchenette included no forks. We brought food back with us in the evenings, which meant we had to eat it with spoons. It really wasn't a problem, but some regular knives and forks would be a helpful addition.

Mr. Salvatore and his wife (owners) are kind and helpful people, the property is located a few minutes from the center of Rome but immersed in the countryside, so very quiet, even the car or motorbike are safe. A reference for future trips to Rome. Highly recommended. Renewing greetings.
