“Arches B&B, is located in Via Bettolo N. 6, less than 10 min walking from the appealing Vatican Museums and the St. Peter basilica.
The B&B is served by all the public transport: Bus stops are just at the corner; 2 metro stations, Cipro-Musei-Vaticani and Ottaviano, are just a 5 minute walk. All the most important city attractions are at walking distance or extremely easy to get to. ”
Essentially designed and furnished, softly decorated, large comfortable bedrooms, measure about 24 square meters, (29 square yards !!) possibly among the largest in Rome.
These outstanding rooms have hardwood floors and also feature a bright beautiful veranda enriched with plants and flowers, table and chairs where you can relax, and eventually enjoy your breakfast.

Here past and present blend together. This suggestive area, developed between the Vatican city, San Peter and St. Angelo Castle offers all the typical amenities that distinguish Rome and her inhabitants, handcrafts shops still survive nested in the little streets beside the main.
Furthermore the facilities of a modern city (Banks, internet points, subway, buses, post offices, news agents, car rentals, music megastores, shopping centres supermarkets, etc.)
One of the largest typical groceries open air market in Rome is just across the road, the hostaria dell’ Angelo (the most traditional local cousine) right outside the front door. The real Italian bars and cafes where residents take their breaks every day (take a glimpse at them from your veranda).
Getting out, walk passed the typical little fountain, head towards the main street that leads to the Vatican museums by turning left, you see already people in the distance, lining up along the Vatican walls, waiting to enter the appealing museums, (“this happens throughout the year…, if you come from Archesbb at least you won’t have to wake up too early !!!*”)

We spent the Easter holidays at BeB Arches with another family of friends and we had a great time! Convenient for getting around, the host was super helpful even in booking the transfer to/from the airport! An excellent support solution in Rome, we would have gladly stayed a few more days, thank you for everything!

Everything is perfect, the location is very convenient to reach both tram and metro. Also excellent for nearby services, shops, and restaurants. The girl’s availability is fantastic. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

Structure in a quiet neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and pizzerias. Close to the metro and the city center. Cozy and clean room. Large and clean bathroom. The kitchen is shared, for this reason, it would be good to put a dishwasher (like those in bars) in order to have washed and sanitized dishes. Recommended.

Stay of three nights. Spacious room and bathroom, to be repainted and maintained. Obsolete windows through which cold air was coming in, in fact the room was cool, with the central heating practically always off and the heat pump not very efficient. Bed making service absent, the dirty towels in the bathroom were removed only once. Breakfast included, not consumed because the kitchen, shared with other guests, was not very clean, including the fridge. Quiet location and close to the Ottaviano metro. Elevator. Owners available at the time of booking and upon arrival. I would not recommend it.

I serramenti, come li chiami tu (credo si riferisca alle finestre) non sono obsoleti, ma d'epoca, mi spiace che tu non abbia colto la sottile differenza. In ogni caso chiudono bene. Il riscaldamento centralizzato funziona 9 ore al giorno, come DA LEGGE. La pompa di calore funziona altrettanto bene, a meno che tu non pretendessi di avere 25 gradi in camera (a proposito di vite ecosostenibili). Cucina e frigorifero vengono puliti quotidianamente: probabilmente ti infastidiva semplicemente la condivisione di spazi e stoviglie con altre persone (di nuovo, un hotel mi sembra piu indicato per te). Il riassetto dei letti non viene MAI fatto e altrettanto MAI ti è stato detto che sarebbe stato fatto. Altra aspettativa da Hotel. Gli asciugami vengono cambiati ogni 3 giorni, quindi il fatto che una volta sia stati cambiati è stato un venire incontro alle tue esigenze, ma non era dovuto. In conclusione, mia cara Ingrid, credo che tu non abbia proprio capito la tipologia di posto prenotata. Per fortuna non è per tutti cosi. Saluti, Fabio.

Excellent central location. Available and responsive managers. Fair value for money. The organization of breakfast for each room could be improved. Some renovation work needed (painting, furniture renewal) and improvement and care needed in the bathroom (shower head to be replaced, stagnant odor).

The room is very large and clean but there is a lack of extra outlets to connect our electronic devices. The bathroom is clean and a good size. It has a hairdryer, clean towels and enough space to organize our stuff. The location is perfect. The metro station is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are a variety of good restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, laundries, etc. It is a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The breakfast could be better. There is a coffee maker but no coffee grounds. The several chocolate powder jars are empty. They also have juice, yogurt, bread with Nutella and honey, nothing else. My suggestion is that we have more guidance on how the kitchen works since we are the ones who prepare our own breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality.

We spent our first night in a comfortable and modern room on the 4th floor and Paolo gave us a very warm welcome. Also Paolo went out of his way to accommodate my dietary restrictions (Celiac). Unfortunately we had to change rooms, (which we expected), but the room on the 2nd floor was a downgrade. It was much smaller, less modern, with fewer windows and it had a terrible smell. On a hot summer night we could not sleep because the air conditioner did not work properly.

Nice location, great position. We were treated very well from arrival to departure, super helpful manager for every request. 5 minutes walk from the Vatican, perfect for visiting Rome in complete tranquility. The quality of sleep should be emphasized, very quiet and peaceful area.

We had a nice holiday, Paolo was very kind and helpful, ideal place for large families and groups, very spacious rooms with private bathroom and small terrace, possibility to use the kitchen, strategic location to visit the city, close to the metro. Weak points: structure not brand new and breakfast could be improved. Good value for money, recommended.

Very quiet place and convenient to all services: metro, tram, and bus. A walk and you are in St. Peter's Square. Beautiful spacious and clean apartment, but above all quiet night, no noise. I highly recommend booking.

Unfortunately, the treatment was for two people even though we were three. Tableware for breakfast for two, towels for two, room cleaning not done, non-functioning air conditioner (unfortunately the room was hot). I would recommend a refresh for the rooms and a bit more maintenance and cleaning especially in the common area. Another question, was the breakfast dishes washing the customer's responsibility? Positive location. Close to the metro and the Vatican.

Buongiorno Carmela, mi spiace non abbiate apprezzate il soggiorno. Per quanto riguarda il trattamento per 2 persone, ma non vi è proprio venuto in mente che potesse essere un errore? Non sarebbe state meglio per entrambi se ce lo aveste detto piuttosto che rimuginarci sopra per poi sparare a zero nel commento? Eppure al check in ci sgoliamo per sollecitare la comunicazione con gli ospiti, proprio al fine di evitare queste spiacevoli situazioni. Veramente mi chiedo quale sarebbe il senso di affittare una tripla per riservare un trattamento da doppia..no mi pare abbia un gran senso. Per il vostro grande dubbio sulle stoviglie, mi spiace comunicarvi che SI, funziona così in tutte le strutture con aree condivise: è buona norma pulire ciò che si sporca, è semplicemente una forma di rispetto verso gli altri ospiti, visto che noi non possiamo essere in sempre struttura a pulire il cucchiaino utilizzato per girare magari il caffè della sera (visto che la cucina è a disposizione degli ospiti nell'intero arco della giornata). Da li la lamentela per la pulizia legata alla zona comune: se tutti facessero come voi, dovremmo vivere in cucina per tenerla sempre perfettamente pulita. Per il resto, la pulizia della camere (come della zona comune) viene effettuata giornalmente ed il condizionatore funziona perfettamente (e non faceva nemmeno questo gran caldo nei giorni del soggiorno). Anche in questo caso sarebbe bastato comunicare il disagio e vi avremmo mostrato il corretto settaggio del condizionatore: davvero un occasione mancata per apprezzare al meglio il vostro soggiorno e me ne rammarico. It is a very cozy place, very clean, quiet, close to the metro and the bus, it is very well connected, Paolo is very kind and helps you with everything.

The only thing I didn't like is the quality of the beds (too soft) and pillows (practically a sheet in thickness). Excellent the ability of the manager Paolo to give directions and the kindness. The management of breakfast with many prepackaged snacks could be improved in my opinion.

I was really satisfied with everything: cleanliness, very spacious room, abundant breakfast, B&B location, close to the subway. Friendly and helpful managers. If I return to Rome I will book again.
