"All'Ombra of St. Peter" is located in the heart of Rome, 500 meters from the Vatican Museum and the Basilica of S. Peter. Less than 100 meters from the "Valle Aurelia Metro" A "and the railway line" Ostiense-Trastevere-Peter-Bracciano. "For the excellent location it is easy to get there from the train station, the airports, or by car.

Placed on the sixth floor of a modern building with lift, offers a warm and welcoming armosphere, with two bright guest rooms equipped with private bathroom, heating and individually controlled air conditioning, with TV and internet wi-fi. The room "Yellow" can accommodate up to 4 people, it has a mini fridge and a balcony from which you enjoy the Vatican walls and a part of dome! The room "Orange" is internal and silent.

The Italian breakfast is with coffee, milk, juice, bread, toast, butter, jam, nutella, honey. Check-in time is after 13. 00 till 20. 00 and check-out by 10. 00. For each change, to be agreed, you meet availability, but check-in after 22. 00 may result in an additional cost of E 10

The B & B is in the heart of Rome, near the Vatican City, just 500 meters from the Vatican Museums. It is 100 m from the "Valle Aurelia" railway line "Ostiense-Trastevere-Bracciano-Viterbo" and Metro A, which connects in few minutes with the historical, cultural and commercial areas: the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Baths of Caracalla, the Stazione Termini and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Pyramid of the Circus Maximus, the 'EUR. Located on the so-called "Olympic road" is about 3 km from the Olympic Stadium and by 'Auditorium.

Good morning, welcomed into the house with friendliness and kindness by the owner. I did not have breakfast because I had guided tours early in the morning. Five minutes from the Valle Aurelia metro station and close to the supermarket, pharmacy, newsstand, restaurants, and pastry shop. Impeccable cleanliness, sixth floor with elevator in a quiet and peaceful building. Safe area because I walked back from the center twice in the evening and never encountered problems. Since I haven't seen all of Rome, I will definitely return next year to the owner Simonetta in her fantastic house.

Everything was as expected—a nice accommodation near the Vatican and the Vatican Museums entrance. The neighborhood is full of life. Simonetta was kind and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. Hopefully, I can come back in the future. It is also near a sub-station, which makes it very convenient for tourism.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and cozy. The bathroom was amazing, like a fancy hotel. She put coffee, tea, towels. The room is bigger than the picture.

Simonetta was a kind and generous host. She made our stay in Rome very pleasant! The property is very close to a Metro and Train station, which made it easy to navigate the city. I would suggest getting the breakfast option. Her breakfast croissants are the best I have ever had! I don't think I will find any that will beat them. Our flight landed in Rome at 7:00 am, and she was very accommodating in letting us check in early. She left delicious little candies in our room each day as well.

We stayed 2 nights at this property very close to Valle Aurelia metro stop, it's practically behind the Vatican, whose dome is clearly visible from the balcony where breakfast is served. Great Bed and Breakfast in the Trionfale district, a 5-minute walk from the Valle Aurelia metro stop on line A. The owner, Mrs. Simonetta, a very kind and discreet person, made us feel at home, it was very pleasant to chat with her. We stayed in the orange room, equipped with every comfort, very clean and quiet... and then from the terrace where breakfast is served, you can see the Dome.

We spent two nights at this B&B and we had a great time. Mrs. Simonetta is kind, courteous, and above all very discreet even though she resides in the same structure. It is an apartment used as a B&B but you feel at home. Surely if I were to return to Rome, this is where I would stay.

The structure is very nice and welcoming, close to the metro so it is easy to reach the heart of the city. The rooms are clean, the owner, Mrs. Simonetta, is simply delightful, very helpful and of exemplary courtesy. The only flaw, if it can be called that, is the breakfast, very basic.

Great location for the metro and restaurants, in those recommended by Simonetta you eat very well and spend the right amount. My children would like to come back already. If I have to find a small flaw, it is the 'French' bathroom. Everything very tidy and clean. Well done Simonetta.

A bed and breakfast where nothing is missing! Clean, welcoming, and tastefully decorated, in a strategic location in Rome. In the morning, we were served an excellent breakfast, carefully prepared by the very kind Mrs. Simonetta who was very helpful and interested in satisfying every request and making our short stay a unique experience. Truly unique owner, courteous and available for any extra request. I asked to check in early and it was granted, then I left the luggage after check out to come back and get it in the afternoon. Mrs. Simonetta is a person who makes you feel at home and the property is close to the Valle Aurelia metro stop. Thank you again Mrs. Simonetta, I hope she still remembers the Sicilian cannolo I brought her.

Praise to those who, like Simonetta, still manage a family Bed and Breakfast. The welcome in a real home, the warmth of a lived and personalized space, in this case the owner personally created the beautiful decorations in the rooms and in the common area, is something truly unique and precious. So many thanks to Simonetta who went out of her way to give us all the useful advice on things to see outside the tourist circuits, who advised us on how to move around (the subway stop is just steps away from the property) and prepared a hot breakfast made on the spot, a real luxury nowadays. The house is curated in every detail, the mattresses, pillows, and bathroom supplies are excellent. Everything you need is at hand. P.S. Let Simonetta tell you the story of the neighborhood, truly curious, and indicate the shortcut among houses of great charm in the middle of the greenery.

Excellent location near San Pietro and the red line of the Metro. Nice quiet area even in the evening. The orange room where we stayed is very pretty, quiet, and well-kept. The breakfast is abundant and the owner Simonetta is nice and helpful. I recommend it. Also close to the historical center.

“All'Ombra di San Pietro“ is a simply magnificent structure. Very convenient because it is located a few steps from St. Peter's, in a strategic position: 300 meters from the Cipro metro and very close to the Valle Aurelia metro station. If you arrive from Tiburtina station for example, you can take the little train, et voilá, in 15 minutes of travel and 1 minute walk you have arrived! You will be welcomed by a special lady, her name is Simonetta, very kind, very nice, cordial, discreet, always available and punctual. A guarantee of a perfect host.\n\nThe rooms available are two. One larger, with amaranth tones, very warm in winter, with a large table, refrigerator, and a kit for a hot drink. The bathroom is internal and private. Maximum comfort. The other room is smaller, with a standard capacity, beautiful, colorful, with very particular butterflies painted by our wonderful host.\n\nThe bathroom is always strictly private. When you enter this treasure chest, you will come back, because the hostess is so prismatic and welcoming that you can't wait to see her again! I feel a bit at home for this reason! Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B 'All'Ombra di San Pietro' for 5 days and I must say that I had a great time. The structure is very clean, the room (I stayed in the orange room) is quiet, perfect in size and attention to detail. Mrs. Simonetta is very kind and helpful. Perfect breakfast. Excellent location both for taking the metro and for walking to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some beautiful Roman days feeling at home. Don't trust all these positive reviews. It's a small apartment with 2-3 rooms. All reviews are written not by real people or by friends of this place. When we have arrived we saw on a table rating from booking about 9. It is a lie. We have come across these pseudo-positive reviews. It is the small-sized apartment, won't turn, won't move. Entrance, elevator all small. The hostess hands over one or two rooms in the apartment. Any noise isolation. Also you feel that always watch you. And still, in the neighboring apartment there is a dog. Rustles. Our plan was to stay 4 nights in Rome. But we stayed here just 1 night and find another place. P. S. When I told that I want to pay with the credit card she made not friendly face. We haven't understood. The hostess (Simonetta) tries to be polite and to smile, but it is impossible to her because it is insincere.

Dear guest, I remember you very well, your family and your check-in on the night over the fixed time and I didn't ask you extra-price for that as writen on the site because I always welcome my guests sincerely like friends! But, with my great disappointment, this time I've been returned with a bitter criticism! Certainly I'm sorry that you didn't stay well, but if I can reply about the position that you could see it on Google Maps and yet you chose it, I cannot accept the smallest criticism about the cleaning. I'm obsessed about it and even use Medical products as this is MY HOME! On the contrary I'll be very hard about the positive reviews from my real friends: I can't allow you to say this since the score of 9,2, you saw in my house, comes from different important sites where only the real guests who booked from those sites can write the review!!! In addition how can you dare to insinuate I was annoyed for your payment by credit card when I accepted it? I could have found any excuse which I didn't! And how can you dare to say my smile and my politeness are insincere? I think your disappointment comes from a mistaken idea of the bed and breakfast. In Italy the law permits only a maximum 3 roomed house in which the host MUST live. But the term is often used to describe a cheap hotels and this isn't legal. So the people who prefer an hotel is very much confused and the real bed and breakfast hosts are disadvantaged! At home, a splendid stay! I would start by talking about hospitality, in two words? Mrs. Simonetta! A woman full of vitality, availability, kindness, sympathy, and love for what she does. She welcomed us as if we were old friends, made us feel comfortable immediately, and welcomed us to her establishment. It smells good! We stayed in the Yellow room, I won't comment on the decor here as it's subjective, but it's absolutely worth noting the dedication that the hostess put into making it unique. Some of the portraits hanging on the walls are done by her! Everything is in its place: TV, small fridge, chest of drawers, wardrobe, two bedside lamps (great for both reading and having soft light), table, sofa bed, little balcony (with a view of the Vatican walls and St. Peter's dome!) and bright large window. The bathroom is essential, extremely clean (cleaned daily), there is a hairdryer and the water mixers work very well. Overall, from a hygiene point of view, it's impeccable. The breakfast is Italian, and it's exactly how I would have it at home. And the location? One of the strong points. A stone's throw from the metro and from the "Valle Aurelia" station, lots of bus stops around. In the entrance courtyard, there is a post office with an ATM. Then again, Pubs, Bars, Restaurants, Banks, free and paid parking lots, etc. In short, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and definitely worth trying! We will gladly return, because in addition to the beautiful B&B experience, we met a Super Woman! Thank you, Mrs. Simonetta.

The property is located behind the walls of the Vatican City, a few meters from the metro stop. The room was very clean, well furnished, and with warm colors. We were welcomed very warmly by the owner Simonetta, who immediately proved to be friendly and kind. After giving us all the information to experience Rome at its best, she was willing to accommodate our dietary intolerances, providing us with an excellent breakfast despite the difficulties. "All'Ombra di San Pietro" is indeed true, it is close to the Vatican. The location of the structure is excellent: the metro "Valle Aurelia" is just a few minutes away, allowing you to reach the most significant sights of the city. The room is spacious, welcoming, and clean. Mrs. Simonetta is cordial, kind, and available to solve any difficulties that may arise. The breakfast is good and plentiful. I will certainly return to Rome and will choose this B&B again.
