Excellent structure very close to the San Giovanni metro, in a quiet area and well served by everything. The managers have always been very kind and caring, the rooms spacious and clean, the breakfast excellent. Highly recommended B&B!

I cannot give a different rating to the breakfast because it was not possible to have it, (due to our fault and not the structure's), but considering everything else, it would have certainly been excellent! We are satisfied with everything else. And very comfortable bed!

Our experience at the b&b Alle Porte di San Giovanni was beautiful! We were welcomed by Monia, a very kind, caring, and affectionate person! The children adored her! The b&b is just a stone's throw away from the metro and bus stops, in an area full of restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast authentic, we felt at home… thank you!

The bed and breakfast is located a few meters from the San Giovanni metro station, offering passing tourists the opportunity to move easily and quickly around Rome. The structure is very well maintained, with meticulous attention to details and especially to cleanliness... impeccable! The manager Alessandro and his right-hand man, Monia, are two helpful and friendly people, ready to listen to every need and help. Do not hesitate to ask for advice on attractions to see or restaurants to go to because you will not be disappointed. If we were to return to Rome, I would definitely look to come back here, there is everything you need for a TOP stay!

Very kind and helpful hosts, lovely and familiar atmosphere, clean, very comfortable mattresses. Quiet neighborhood, with everything you need and a 5-minute walk from St. John Lateran, 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum, 2 minutes from the metro A stop connecting to all points of interest. Absolutely recommended for a Roman holiday.

The stay at 'Alle Porte di San Giovanni' was adequate. Despite being a B&B, a daily cleaning and maintenance service is provided. The area is quiet, with services nearby to solve any problems that may arise. It is worth mentioning the empathy and availability shown by the brothers who manage the accommodation. We stayed one day and one night. Our daughter Giulia graduated on July 10, 2023. Best Bed & Breakfast, we couldn't have found better! Excellent welcome, politeness, and smiles. Family atmosphere and strategic location 50 meters from metro A San Giovanni stop (10 minutes from Termini). From here I walked to the concert at Circo Massimo (+- 30 minutes) and the next day always on foot to San Pietro visiting the main monuments of the city. Excellent and abundant breakfast. Highly recommended for a weekend in Rome.

Really a nice place, excellent value for money. Economical category but with everything necessary for a good short stay, quite spacious room, including air conditioning. If I have to find a flaw, the lack of double glazing on the window encourages a bit of external noise even if never excessively annoying. Excellent availability of the manager. I definitely recommend it.

We only have good words for this bed and breakfast. It is clean and very well connected with the metro stop nearby to visit all of Rome. We felt at home, everything was clean, they asked us what we wanted for breakfast and since my children drink Nesquik they went to buy it because they didn't have it. The location is great, metro stop very close, there is a supermarket nearby (a Tiger), a McDonald's, clothing stores (a Zara), a trattoria where the b&b owners recommended us to go (Simoneta's trattoria, where you eat great and one of the owners speaks perfect Spanish). It is true that being so close to the main street at night is a bit noisy, police, ambulances, but it is the price to pay for being so well connected. You can walk to the Colosseum in 15 minutes. Air conditioning in the room, shower with gel and shampoo, they change the towels often. The people managing the bed and breakfast are very polite, friendly, and always willing to help. Thank you for everything. 10 out of 10.

It was a great experience. Alessandro was very kind and helped me upon my arrival. The room was of good size, comfortable, and I also had a private space with a bathroom and balcony. I highly recommend this place for its great location: just a minute and a half walk to the San Giovanni subway station, and across the street you can catch the bus. Only 5 minutes by bus (line 87, which took me everywhere) to reach the Colosseum.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in this very nice property, in a quiet area and convenient to reach many areas of Rome on foot. The owner is very kind and helpful. Wide choice for breakfast. Clean room and bathroom with all the amenities. Highly recommended also for the value for money.

The host is very nice and helpful. The apartment is clean and the room was large. A minus is the low insulation of walls and the noisy area due to a nearby bar. The breakfast style is Italian - coffee and something sweet. In the fridge, there are always different kinds of yogurt and ham. If you need something else, it is also possible. I enjoyed staying at Alle Porte di San Giovanni.

Il B&B Alle porte di San Giovanni è una situato in posto bellissimo della città eterna: a due passi dalla Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, zona centralissima e collegata alla metro A e metro C di Roma. La struttura è accogliente, molto pulita, composta da camere spaziose con bagno interno moderno e ristrutturato. La gestione è a cura di Alessandro, giovane imprenditore disponibile a venire incontro alle esigenze/tempistiche di arrivo e partenza degli ospiti/clienti. Mi sono sentita a casa. Posto familiare, giovanile e alle porte di San Giovanni in Laterano!

Ho soggiornato in questo B&b per una notte e devo dire che era tutto perfetto. Alessandro, il titolare, un ragazzo gentilissimo mi ha mostrata la camera molto grande pulita letto comodissimo bagno in camera con doccia non mancava nulla colazione self service buona e abbondante struttura nuova vicinissima alla metro di San Giovanni 50 metri a piedi ho girato tanti B&B ma per me questo è il migliore sono stato benissimo complimenti ad Alessandro e al suo staff per come tiene la struttura lo consiglio veramente a tutti ritornerò di sicuro qui.

Il B&B è ottimamente posizionato sopra alla metro e a 2 passi da San Giovanni, letti comodi, pulizia e cucina ampia con colazione fornita di molti dolci, marmellate, yogurt, etc.. Il proprietario è molto gentile (ci ha lasciato l'uso camera oltre orario soddisfando ogni nostro richiesta). Si trova anche parcheggio intorno con un po' di fortuna. Per mangiare a 2 passi c'è la trattoria "da Simonetta" tipicissima romana nell'ambiente e nella cucina.

Mi sono trovata benissimo. Ho peRnottato per due notti in una camera luminosa, nuova e ben arredata col bagno privato. Ho molto apprezzato la colazione fai da te senza limiti d'orario, la vicinanza alla fermata metro e a numerosi negozi di via Appia. L'appartamento è vicinissimo alle mura di San Giovanni e al Colosseo. L'host è disponibile, cordiale e mi ha dato ottimi consigli per gli spostamenti. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero ottimo. Ritornerò sicuramente.

Ho soggiornato una notte. struttura accogliente e pulita. gestore professionale, accogliente e con cui si può piacevolmente chiacchierare. fantastica la posizione a San Giovanni! Buona la colazione, luminosi i locali. Nulla da criticare.
