Our establishment is located in an elegant medieval building in the heart of the San Pellegrino district, which has recently been renovated to offer maximum comfort without losing the beauty of the original Gothic architecture. The rooms, each dedicated to a famous writer, are located on the first floor and are equipped with a wide selection of books for all tastes, allowing our guests to experience the unique Bookcrossing experience.

Clean, quiet, and right in the historic part of Viterbo. The double bed was very comfortable, but the one in the loft was a bit cramped for our son who is tall and the ceiling is low.

Our host Chiara was waiting for us at the designated agreed time (this doesn't always happen!). She was professional, informative and lovely to deal with. Fabulous apartment. Clean, bright, warm and central. Really comfortable bed, clean, bright bathroom - excellent wifi.

My husband and I spent two truly pleasant nights at Al Libro Letto, a charming structure outside of time that takes us back to a distant era, in a well-renovated medieval palace. The advantage of being right in the center of the San Pellegrino neighborhood is not disturbed by the typical annoying noises of the area, but instead offers silent and enjoyable nights. The lady managing the B&B was very kind and helpful. It's a shame that, due to Covid restrictions, it was not possible to have breakfast in the welcoming refreshment room; we were redirected to a nearby bar run by a friendly gentleman, who offers freshly baked cappuccino and croissants to enjoy at the tables in the suggestive Piazza del Gesù. The idea of naming the rooms after writers and providing many books, both in the rooms and in the lounging area, is original.

Cozy location, located in the historic center, very kind staff, very good cleanliness, no air conditioning but we found three fans. NB. In the historic center you can only arrive on foot, access by car from 6 to 10:30 (holidays).
