Description
The Monte Due Torri Agriturismo is named after the mountain of the same name located in a 20-hectare park 30 km from Rome in the center of the Castelli Romani. It is identified with Maecium, a fortified castle near which the dictator Mario Furio Camillo obtained a famous victory over the Volsci in 389 BC. The farmhouse, built on powerful Roman cisterns, still displays medieval walls. Originally, it was an outpost of the Castle to control the road to Anzio.

A B&B that could be but isn't: breakfast is decidedly meager compared with other similarly priced properties, the rooms are very bare with only a TV and air conditioning, and the furnishings are very dated. The property seems more geared toward hosting companions of football players in the restaurant, as there are several pitches. It is in a very quiet area just outside Genzano. I may have been unlucky for not contacting the property directly instead of booking through this site.

It was a very pleasant stay. It is a complex property with a history. The hospitality was impeccable. At the restaurant I was able to taste dishes produced on the property. The wellness area is beautiful. The exchange was fruitful.

We had a good time, the structure is very large, well cleaned and welcoming. Only sweet breakfast. Dogs allowed with a supplement. Large parking. Dinner possibility.
