Small point to improve: \n• bathroom hygiene (dirty tiles) and disgusting dining table! \n• small fridge to store cold drinks or medications. \nIt is an extremely noisy apartment, you can hear everything above, below, and on the sides up to the conversations. So after a good day of walking, it is complicated to rest in the evening.

Small room but with everything necessary. There is also a nice large terrace. The breakfast could be improved (some vegan options wouldn't hurt), but the girl who served us was very polite.

Appartamento molto rumoroso, si sentiva tutto ciò che accadeva intorno. Nel periodo dove abbiamo soggiornato l’ascensore era rotto e l’appartamento si trovava al settimo piano, quindi un’impresa scendere e salire a piedi. posizione perfetta.

Great B&B, very clean and hospitable.

Unfortunately, in the bed and breakfast everything was broken and the mattress was sagging, and the cleaning service was not done from one day to the next. The apartment, on the other hand, was okay.

Great location, close to the train station and other facilities. It would have been useful to have a refrigerator and a microwave. Nice view from the balcony. The room was okay, neither big nor small.

Terrible experience: in addition to the room being very small, it was extremely dirty. Dust accumulated for years everywhere, mold on the wall, toothpaste splatters near the bathroom sink, hairdryer full of dust and therefore unusable, hair and fur in the blankets, small balcony full of pigeon droppings, no hook for towels or bathrobe, bidet missing, the only chairs present (two) were on the balcony, dirty, next to the droppings.

The place is really nice, the building has a balcony, it is also kind of big, nice and clean. The host was nice, there is just one bad thing. When you arrive, there is no locker where you pick up the keys or anything like that. We rented an apartment. When we arrived, I had to call the owner, who opened the main door for us and then asked if only one of us could go upstairs - to the fifth floor and pick up the keys of the apartment. When I went up, he opened another door for me, where there was an envelope with the keys. The real challenge started when I wanted to get out - there was no knob, just a little stump on the door, which you had to move to the right to open the door - which I did not know. I tried to call the owner how to get out, but he did not pick up. I figured it out after five minutes of panicking (we arrived at 11 PM after a long trip and I did not want to spend the night in the hallway). Anyway, we received a map on how to get to the apartment and the keys. The stay was good.

Excellent location, 600 meters from the metro and the train station. Large and clean room. With restaurants and supermarket near the apartment. Breakfast with croissant and drink.

Everything is great.

Great room.

The room I stayed in is small and quite comfortable for one person. It also has a nice little balcony. Ordinary cleaning is very good, but a bit of extraordinary cleaning and maintenance would be needed. The affiliated bar for breakfast is not the best, it opens late on weekends and I was served old croissants. A short distance away is the Andreotti pastry shop, with better opening hours and excellent quality, at a reasonable price (cappuccino and croissant 2.80 euros, these are prices that I can only dream of in Milan). My stay was nonetheless positive, I rested well thanks to the comfortable bed and the other polite guests, who made up for the poor soundproofing. Mr. Fulvio was very kind and helpful, and if I have the opportunity I will be happy to return.

Rather spartan but very comfortable in the Ostiense area and excellent quality-price ratio. The manager is always available.

The location is very strategic for trains and metro. Clean and welcoming room.

Very small room, to walk at the foot of the bed you have to be careful not to hit the wall-mounted TV. But above all broken shutters (open in the room, closed in the bathroom), holes in the walls, bathroom without bidet and with construction site finishes. No soundproofing between the various rooms.

Basic accommodation but perfect for a city trip! Clean and very comfortable mattresses. The Breakfast is also great - you can get (very good) coffee and a croissant. We were very satisfied.

Clean and quite cozy room even if not perfect, close to many services. Forgettable breakfast at the affiliated bar: if you take the juice you are not entitled to the croissant or the coffee or cappuccino.

The B&B is well positioned, a stone's throw from Roma Ostiense station; very convenient location. Nearby you can find everything: supermarkets, restaurants, tobacco shops, and various stores. The area is very quiet. The room was clean and essential, although I recommend paying more attention to details; outside, on the balcony, there was the skeleton of an old radiator detached from the wall and left there. Bathroom essentials are ok. Overall, good cleanliness. I recommend it.

In comparison to the price, the Affittacamere Nansen was very small. The breakfast was terrible.

The Nansen guest house is in a good location, easily accessible from the metro. Very convenient is the possibility to self-check-in via the app. The room and the bathroom are not very spacious but we still had a good stay. The cleanliness is overall good. The only thing I would add is a mini fridge. A major flaw was the breakfast in agreement with a nearby bar, included in the price but terrible, better to skip it. In summary, good value for money, I recommend it.

Discreet.

I must say it's great. There's only one thing I didn't like but it's easily fixable. On the bathroom entrance side, the bed shelf takes up space and should be rounded. I banged my knee and it was very painful.\n\nThe excellent location is another plus. Via del Commercio and Via Pigafetta are very close. Moreover, the metro is only 500 meters away. It could be considered luxurious.\n\nGoodbye, see you soon.

Structure in a very good location, very nice and welcoming with quite spacious and modern rooms, well cleaned and comfortable. Recommended!

Ho pernottato dal 2 al 3 dicembre nella camera 2 di questa struttura che si trova all'interno di un condominio, vicinissima dalla stazione ostiense. Ho apprezzato la pulizia generale, l'arredamento semplice ma completo ed integro (nello specifico occupavo la camera che nelle foto ha sopra il letto un quadro con il Colosseo e il gladiatore di spalle), il silenzio, la comodità e la dimensione del letto. Il gestore è stato disponibile e l' accesso alla camera facilitato dalle indicazioni chiare ricevute telefonicamente. La camera non è enorme ma assolutamente funzionale. Il bagno, munito di un piccolo phon, non ha il bidè ma ha una doccia molto comoda in cui è presente un dispenser con bagnoschiuma. Nel complesso un'ottima soluzione ad un prezzo contenuto. Nel totale era compresa la colazione presso un piccolo bar nei paraggi dove la scelta non è molto ampia (solo dolce) ma assolutamente dignitosa. Consigliato anche per la vicinanza ad una zona molto viva e piena di locali. Qualche annotazione che spero possa essere utile al gestore. 1) Trovare una soluzione per riempire la fessura sotto la porta della camera in modo da limitare l'ingresso della luce del corridoio durante la notte. 2) Liberarsi delle lenzuola macchiate che, anche se sottolineo erano pulite e profumate, non risultano gradevoli alla vista 3) Fare attenzione alla rimozione del sottile strato di muffa che si crea intorno al piatto doccia che stride con l'attenzione riscontrabile nelle attenzioni sopracitate. Infine, la struttura non è consigliabile a chi ha limitate capacità motorie per via delle scale presenti all'ingresso del palazzo prima dell'ascensore e del gradino all'ingresso della camera.

La camera era completamente diversa da quella delle foto. Per chi, come me, viene da un'altra città, fa affidamento su ciò che vede su internet. Mancava la maniglia nella porta del bagno e la camera era piena di polvere. Sono stata tutta la notte a starnutire perché l'aria condizionata non funzionava. Inoltre, non potevamo nemmeno parlare che ci sentivano quelli accanto, dato che c'era un corridoio piccolissimo con 5 appartamentini. Mi sembra pure eccessivo fare pagare 28 € di tassa di soggiorno per una camera del genere. Posso dire con certezza che non ci andrò mai più.

Unfortunately, I can't be very positive. In the photos, the rooms looked much larger, as did the bathrooms. Instead, the room was very small and the bathroom, without a bidet, was very small. The manager was very kind, but the room disappointed me a lot.

The room is small and inside I found the desk and a children's chair, which is uncomfortable for an adult. Additionally, there is no luggage rack to place the suitcase. The bathroom is very small, making access to the shower uncomfortable despite the presence of the toilet in front. When I turn on only the hot water, it initially comes out hot, but I noticed that it doesn't last long enough and ends up staying cold.

In una settimana che sono stato lì neanche una donna delle pulizie a fare quantomeno le lenzuola e con questo ho detto tutto.

It was difficult to find the host when we arrived at the building. We sent a message before the day of the stay that was not answered, the host did not communicate with us before the reservation day or send any instructions on how to reach the assigned room. We had to wait for a tenant to open the door, enter, and ask.

The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood, 100 meters from the train station. This allows you to travel wherever you want, be it the city center or the airport.

Truly a great place, excellent value for money! All the comforts I needed at a truly competitive price. Only downside: the soundproofing was practically non-existent, as I was woken up several times by the neighboring room guests in the middle of the night (at 4 in the morning) due to their phone vibrating continuously! It felt like it was in my room.

We had a great time. Just a stone's throw from the Metro station, clean room, small bathroom but with everything you need, kind and helpful Host. Easy to reach.

Everything was great. The apartment has everything that you will need and also the breakfast was great. I do recommend this apartment to everyone.

Good structure in Piramide area.

Everything ok, excellent value for money.

Good and affordable solution in the Piramide/Ostiense area.

The cleanliness was the only positive thing, but it's not a particular merit because I believe it's the bare minimum. Very small room and bathroom, no bidet, no chair or table to lean on, no coat rack, the hangers provided in the small wardrobe are of poor quality and barely support the weight of a spring coat. No possibility to make tea/coffee (not even in the property, not just in the room) and no mini-fridge. The location is quite convenient (10 minutes walk from Piramide metro), but I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation or for a work stay unless the whole day is already organized outside, otherwise you'll be forced to spend hours in bed, the only place to sit in the room. Nice balcony, but still too small to be lived in. No breakfast provided on-site, but in a bar where there's not even a table to sit at, and you're forced to have breakfast standing. No vegan options, I asked to replace the croissant with a packaged tart (vegan) and they wanted to charge me the price difference. I kindly pointed out that it wasn't my fault if they weren't available and the baristas were understanding, but in 2023 it's no longer acceptable not to be inclusive towards special dietary needs.

Great Bed and Breakfast in a very convenient area to reach transportation. Decent breakfast. I recommend it!

Great stay.

Overall positive experience. I have two suggestions: to put at least one chair in the room; to change the bar for breakfast service, as I missed a breakfast paid since the same bar was closed every afternoon, as well as Saturday morning.

I really enjoyed my stay at Affittacamere Nansen. Fulvio, the manager, is helpful and kind, the check-in and check-out information is clear. The location is convenient, not far from the Trastevere area and via Ostiense, full of bars, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the Piramide metro station which allows you to reach the city center quickly. Even though the room is small, it is well organized and functional, clean, and with a small balcony. Recommended!

I spent one night at the Nansen Guesthouse and it was a comfortable and pleasant experience from the beginning. Firstly, the online booking was simple and very accurate, with an immediate issuance of a concise yet comprehensive form summarizing all the necessary details. Upon arrival, I called the provided number to inquire about the room access procedures: minimal wait on the phone, utmost courtesy, and precise instructions. I found the room in excellent condition and stayed comfortably. I only suggest considering the possibility of replacing the mattress, which is a bit firm. Overall, it proved to be an excellent accommodation for my travel needs.

Structure rundown and dirty room.

Having booked and paid in advance for a 1-night stay at the Nansen Guesthouse. At 6.30 pm the evening before, I receive the following email: For internal organizational reasons, we have moved your reservation to the B&B Piramide, connected to us, which is always located at civic number 88 (instead of 122). To arrange check-in, you can contact F******** at +39 3*******. Astounded as it was already after dinner time, I directly call the indicated number and the gentleman had abandoned the B&B business for some years, so he had absolutely no idea. I then decide to call directly the number of the structure where they had moved me, expressing my displeasure. Upon arrival, we enter this building and the B&B was inside an apartment where there were several rooms. The breakfast (paid service) is what really shocked me the most... packaged plunckakes and a pear juice. I will never return to that place and I absolutely do not recommend it. Organization -10. Professionalism -20.

The thing that gave me the most trouble was having to have breakfast at the bar, but I had no alternatives. However, a little would be enough to improve the livability of the room: fix the bidet faucet, missing the aerator, the sink faucet splashed, the bathroom blind occasionally got stuck. But the thing that gave the most trouble was the fact that there is nothing to rest objects and clothes on, apart from the two small bedside tables. Just add a shelf, a chair, and a coat rack. Another important thing is to add clothes hooks in the wardrobe, especially those with clips for shorts and skirts. I think that if the owner wants to improve people's stay, they should add a small refrigerator, which is very important for a B&B room. And in any case, considering the size of the room, I recommend a stay of 2/3 days.

Lack of bathroom products and annoying noise from a magnetic lock. For one night it's fine...

The owner is helpful. The property is located in a peaceful place with everything at hand.

I recommend! Fully satisfied. I will return.

What leaves much to be desired is the cleanliness, especially the edge of the floors, the windows glass, the bed with wobbly headboard, and the balcony with a dirty attached table. It's a pity, just taking better care of these things would make the property not bad at all.

I wanted to have a Ferrari but I can't. Or, to be more precise, I managed to buy a Ferrari but I discovered that it had the engine of a Fiat 500. Absolute lack of attention to detail. Renovation and furnishings made with poor materials that compromised the quality of the rooms and not even an attempt to remedy it, even in part and in small things. A hook in the bathroom to hang a towel at the exit of the shower, the replacement of the water jet breakers of the bidet and the sink, clogged over time, which compromised their use (cost 2 euros), a chair next to the wardrobe to hang a dress, these are the little things I refer to and then, forgive me, but it takes an engineering degree in hydraulic engineering to know that the air conditioner is not installed in front of the bed when I could use the other end of the balcony, above the wardrobe? And what about a mattress where you feel like sleeping on the floor and a TV no bigger than a 17-inch one badly placed 4 meters from the bed? I forgot, if you need to take a shower, coordinate with the gentlemen in the neighboring rooms because the hot water is enough for 2 people at most. What a pity, that structure would have the potential to compete with the best B&Bs in Rome. A waste in the hands of those who only think about capitalizing.

Excellent strategic location just steps from the Piramide metro, comfortable bed but the room is small for what I got, not suitable for long stays but fine for two nights. The only flaw I found is the balcony very dirty with pigeon droppings and for this reason it also smelled. Otherwise, ok.

It's a good sized room and has a big balcony. It was clean and only inconvenience was the noisy bed. Breakfast is fair enough (cappuccino and pastry).

The structure is run down, the door of the room is unhinged and difficult to open every time. We have never seen anyone, not even for the collection of documents. So no report of presences. I asked for the billing of the stay but I didn't receive any response. Breakfast at a shabby and dirty bar with a croissant taken out of the plastic and an almost cold cappuccino. Terrible everything.

It is unfortunate to leave a negative review, but the stay was truly disappointing. I acknowledge the courtesy of the manager, but the property has many negative aspects: lack of cleanliness; thin walls that allow you to hear everything; a terrible smell possibly from the outside; lack of an on-site contact person; changing of sheets and towels once a week; uncomfortable bed due to broken slats; breakfast with croissant and coffee or cappuccino in a small affiliated bar.

We took the whole apartment and in the kitchen there is an unbearable stench that made it impossible to use it. For the rest, overall good in relation to the price and location.
