The Aelius B&B by Roma Inn has an excellent location in the heart of Rome, just a few steps from the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Baths of Diocletian, the Piazza della Repubblica and the commercial shopping area at Via Nazionale, known as the doorway to the best monuments in the city.

Visitors can enjoy an unforgettable stay in the Eternal City at this cosy B&B with a personal touch and excellent service. This establishment is on the second floor of an old Roman house. Guests can stay in a double room with a king size double bed to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious night of rest after a long day of pounding the Italian pavement. The rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and WIFI internet connection.

The Aelius is very close to Roma Termini station, Rome’s main train station for metro, bus and regional trains. You can reach nearly every corner of the city from here and even reach other Italian cities for exciting day trips to Pompeii or the beautiful Italian countryside. Fiumicino airport is also easily reached from here.

Hi, I'm Maria and I have been managing the Aelius since 2006: I tried to rely on my instincts by creating a serene and familiar environment, a place where you can experience all the emotions that only Rome can give you peacefully and happily.. The Aelius is located in a quiet and safe location, and at the same time very close to the places of greatest historical and cultural interest and the Termini station.

I love to relate to guests, helping them and advising them on the places of greatest interest and on the restaurants where we know they can taste the typical dishes of Rome.

The structure is convenient to Termini station and various public transport, equipped with an elevator. The single room is more than adequate for a person's needs: clean, with good linen, with appropriate towel changes. A special note to the staff who went out of their way to fulfill organizational requests, not at all taken for granted on special days like New Year's Eve. For New Year's Eve, I found a single-serving bottle of sparkling wine in the room for popping and toasting, with double snacks. Recommended, to return.

Mrs. Maria was kind and helpful. The area is quiet and located a stone's throw away from all city transport. The breakfast bar is good and well attended. The only drawback is that the towels were not changed every day. That's what they told us, but you have to hang them in the shower box or in the bathroom. It's strange, until today other facilities have always put them dry and clean every day. This doesn't affect my choice, I will gladly come back and recommend it. Rating 9 out of 10.

The structure is convenient for its location, quite close to Termini but in a quiet area, the owner is very helpful and welcoming, allowed us to leave our backpacks both on arrival and departure. The room is clean and equipped with everything needed, comfortable and cool (it was July), quiet at night. Breakfast is at the nearby bar.

Great experience. The lady who manages it is very helpful. The structure is located near Termini station but in a quiet area, in a strategic point to visit the city. Newly furnished rooms and good cleaning. I recommend it.

Guest House well-kept, clean and elegant and located in a strategic position. Courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast is served in a nearby bar, which would also be fine if it were possible to consume it sitting at the table. Unlikely because the bar is very small, so whoever arrives first sits down.

I stayed at this property for one night, I had a great time, cozy, clean. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and kind, she gave us all the information we asked for. Convenient to move around the city, the bus stops just a few steps outside the door. I recommend it. Serena.

Great location, train station was around the corner, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, plenty of mini markets within walking distance. The breakfast is served at a separate location that is a short walk, traditional Italian breakfast coffee/juice and a pastry. Everyone was so nice.

Aelius was a very nice place to stay, located close to the train station and city centre, so many things to see close by. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The host was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Continental breakfast was included and about a block away. Our room was adequate in size for us and very clean. We would recommend this place to anyone.

The girls who work there are so kind and speak English very well. They give us a free map and directions for everything. The room was super clean. They clean every day, and every third day change towels. You get soap, shampoo, and everything you need there. Accommodation is a 5-minute walk from Termini station and the metro. About 15-20 minutes from the Trevi Fountain. Breakfast is small but very delicious... We will definitely come here again if we come to Rome someday.

Strategic location, 5 minutes from the Termini Station exit. The building where the B&B is located is cool and equipped with an elevator; it overlooks a fairly busy street during the day, not noisy, on the contrary very pleasant and which ends at the facade of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. A splendid place even in summer, thanks to the air conditioning that cools the indoor environments, making the stay in the room comfortable even during the hottest hours of the day. The rooms are simply perfect, spacious enough, equipped with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi accessible. The beds are really comfortable and equipped with double pillows, as well as impeccably clean like the rest of the room. The bathrooms are modern and essential, the shower very large. The towels available are plentiful and I appreciated the presence of a desk in the room, useful for those who need to stay for study/work reasons. The wardrobe in each room is spacious and equipped with a safe. Excellent value for money. The B&B's strong point is comfort, in every way! Highly recommended.
