The Aelius Guest House is an accommodation located in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the stunning Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Baths of Diocletian, Piazza della Repubblica, and the shopping area on Via Nazionale, known as the gateway to the city's finest monuments.

Visitors can enjoy a wonderful stay in the Eternal City while staying in a cozy guest house with some of the most helpful staff around.

This establishment is situated on the second floor of an ancient Roman building.

Guests can relax in a double room featuring a king-size bed, providing the necessary comfort after a long day of sightseeing in the Italian capital. Additionally, the rooms come equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and WiFi connectivity.

Aelius is very close to Rome Termini train station, one of the city's key hubs. From there, visitors can easily reach any part of Rome and travel to other Italian cities, as well as to Fiumicino International Airport.

Hello, I'm Maria, and I have been managing Aelius since 2006. I have tried to follow my intuition to create a peaceful and family-like atmosphere, a place where one can experience all the emotions that only Rome can offer in a serene and happy way.

Aelius is situated in a quiet and safe location, yet it is very close to the most significant historical and cultural sites as well as Termini Station.

I enjoy interacting with guests, assisting and advising them on the main attractions and restaurants where they can savor the traditional dishes of Rome.

We self checked in and found the whole process okay. The very central location was excellent for us as it was close to the train station and places we wanted to go to. As well as good restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the local cafe was good and suited us.

The structure is convenient to Termini station and various public transport, equipped with an elevator. The single room is more than adequate for a person's needs: clean, with good linen, with appropriate towel changes. A special note to the staff who went out of their way to fulfill organizational requests, not at all taken for granted on special days like New Year's Eve. For New Year's Eve, I found a single-serving bottle of sparkling wine in the room for popping and toasting, with double snacks. Recommended, to return.

Mrs. Maria was kind and helpful. The area is quiet and located a stone's throw away from all city transport. The breakfast bar is good and well attended. The only drawback is that the towels were not changed every day. That's what they told us, but you have to hang them in the shower box or in the bathroom. It's strange, until today other facilities have always put them dry and clean every day. This doesn't affect my choice, I will gladly come back and recommend it. Rating 9 out of 10.

The structure is convenient for its location, quite close to Termini but in a quiet area, the owner is very helpful and welcoming, allowed us to leave our backpacks both on arrival and departure. The room is clean and equipped with everything needed, comfortable and cool (it was July), quiet at night. Breakfast is at the nearby bar.

Great experience. The lady who manages it is very helpful. The structure is located near Termini station but in a quiet area, in a strategic point to visit the city. Newly furnished rooms and good cleaning. I recommend it.

Guest House well-kept, clean and elegant and located in a strategic position. Courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast is served in a nearby bar, which would also be fine if it were possible to consume it sitting at the table. Unlikely because the bar is very small, so whoever arrives first sits down.

Great location, train station was around the corner, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, plenty of mini markets within walking distance. The breakfast is served at a separate location that is a short walk, traditional Italian breakfast coffee/juice and a pastry. Everyone was so nice.

Aelius was a very nice place to stay, located close to the train station and city centre, so many things to see close by. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The host was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Continental breakfast was included and about a block away. Our room was adequate in size for us and very clean. We would recommend this place to anyone.

The girls who work there are so kind and speak English very well. They give us a free map and directions for everything. The room was super clean. They clean every day, and every third day change towels. You get soap, shampoo, and everything you need there. Accommodation is a 5-minute walk from Termini station and the metro. About 15-20 minutes from the Trevi Fountain. Breakfast is small but very delicious... We will definitely come here again if we come to Rome someday.

Strategic location, 5 minutes from the Termini Station exit. The building where the B&B is located is cool and equipped with an elevator; it overlooks a fairly busy street during the day, not noisy, on the contrary very pleasant and which ends at the facade of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. A splendid place even in summer, thanks to the air conditioning that cools the indoor environments, making the stay in the room comfortable even during the hottest hours of the day. The rooms are simply perfect, spacious enough, equipped with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi accessible. The beds are really comfortable and equipped with double pillows, as well as impeccably clean like the rest of the room. The bathrooms are modern and essential, the shower very large. The towels available are plentiful and I appreciated the presence of a desk in the room, useful for those who need to stay for study/work reasons. The wardrobe in each room is spacious and equipped with a safe. Excellent value for money. The B&B's strong point is comfort, in every way! Highly recommended.
