In Sappada, an enchanting skiing village located among the eastern Dolomites of northern Italy, you are warmly welcomed by the Cottrer family at Villa Erika.
Our budget Bed and Breakfast is situated a stone throw away from “Sappada 2000” and the “Pian dei Nidi” for downhill skiing, the nordic skiing piste and the natural ice-skating rink. There is also a Sport’s Palace offering indoors activities within a short walking distance. The combination of affordable rooms and excellent location make Villa Erika the best kept secret of the skiing connoisseur.
All our bedrooms offer a TV, free Wi-Fi, and private amenities for your comfort; some also have a balcony with panoramic views across the valley to suit the budding photographer. The day starts with a complimentary continental breakfast served in our lounge where you will be able to meet the other guests if you wish, or where you can have a quiet and pleasant start to the day. There is a free car park on site, and the Bus Stop is directly opposite the main entrance.
As summer approaches, the snow melts and the mountains offer fresh opportunities for summer activities like rock climbing and rambling with marked routes for harder alpine treks. For easier walks you may wish to visit the unforgettable Olbe Lakes, the source of the historic River Piave, or go for a stroll around the old part of town with its distinctive wooden houses built with the unique “Blockbau” technique. At the end of your day, when the weather permits, you can relax in our sun-filled open terrace to recharge your batteries and to plan the day ahead.
Children’s activities, including football, horse riding and a fabulous playground set in the woods, are less than 5 minutes away from our B&B.

I stayed in a single room for 6 days, feeling in a family environment thanks to the family that owns Villa Erika. The structure is very clean and well-maintained. The staff is very kind. We arrived earlier, all wet from the snow, and they immediately gave us the room, even though it was not yet the check-in time. Great location. Excellent experience. Thank you.

Cozy structure. The location is halfway between the center of Sappada and the enchanting old Sappada (Cima Sappada). Furniture needs a bit of renewal.

The place is nice, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley; the family management is courteous, not particularly talkative. The cleanliness is impeccable, but the furnishings could be modernized. I would also suggest providing a bath foam and a shampoo for each person staying in the room. The breakfast was more than enough.

We stayed at Villa Erika in July, and we were pleasantly satisfied with the accommodation. The rooms are clean and the furniture is as shown in the pictures. The breakfast was good and plentiful! The dessert of the day was really excellent and also the coffee was like the one from a bar and not from the machines that are often found in some hotels. The location is great, there is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, in the vicinity there are many small restaurants, the playground with the riding stable, which is really nice and the children had a great time, then there is the Sappada 2000 chairlift that allowed us to easily reach the Olbe lakes. A special mention goes to the staff who were extremely kind and knowledgeable, providing advice on the most beautiful things to see.

I was fascinated by the Sappada valley watching it on TV, following the Giro d'Italia. What better opportunity than to come and stay here in the summer? Here I am to review an excellent structure in this beautiful valley. Villa Erika was an excellent choice not only for its location, for how well-kept the house is, for the cleanliness, for the abundant and good breakfast, but above all for the kindness of Cinzia and Enrico, the owners, who made us feel right at home. What can I say, my wife and I can't wait to come back.

The Bed and Breakfast is in a good location and the lady who runs it is kind. However, the structure is old and needs modernization. The beds still have springs and everything feels like it's from the '60s/'70s: chandeliers, furniture, plastic placemats. A little update would suffice, you can't stay the same after 40 years.

I stayed for a short time but I can say that the cleanliness is very well taken care of, the bathroom is very spacious, perhaps the furnishings are a bit outdated but I repeat that the room was very clean and tidy (they tidy it up every morning). I was with two children and they were very happy too. The managers are discreet but always available to meet any needs. For what I spent and for the possibility they offer to have even very short stays, I really think I will come back.

Certainly a place to stay for no more than two nights, very kind staff, good breakfast but the structure has two major flaws. First, it is attached to the main road with strong traffic noise, second outdated furniture and beds especially the mattresses! I'm sorry but in two nights I really rested very little.

The furniture is a bit dated. The room and bathroom are a bit tight. Bring a triple plug if you are two needing to charge your phone: there is only one socket in the bathroom. The owners are friendly. Overall sufficient. I will probably return.

We stayed at this family-run B&B during the Christmas holidays and I must say I found myself very well. The owners are friendly and reserved. There is a very relaxing family atmosphere. At the end of the stay, we also received a very appreciated gift from the owner. The structure overlooks the slopes so it is uniquely convenient, the cleanliness is perfect as well as the heating of the rooms. If I may offer a suggestion (but for personal taste reasons) I would enrich the breakfast with savory options (ham, cheese, etc.). We will definitely stay again at this B&B.
