We are Ileana & Giulio, lovers of life, culture, and British landscapes.
We will welcome you at our family home in Friuli, a British corner in the town of Pier Paolo Pasolini's origin, his "country of storms and primroses" amidst vineyards and wineries of Destra Tagliamento, 13 km from Pordenone and 35 km from Udine.
You will be accommodated in a comfortable and original Country Cottage-style double room, with en-suite bathroom and private entrance from the garden. WiFi and air conditioning are provided.
There isn't twin beds possibility and we cannot add any extra beds.
On CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR TIME, EASTER and 15 AUGUST the minimum stay is for TWO NIGHTS.
Tea making facilities in room. Parking available (covered for motorcycles and bicycles).
Large garden and tasty breakfasts, under the pergola or in the conservatory.
We can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
Due to our specific choice, we do NOT accept smokers in the house and there is NO TV. We apologize, but we cannot accept reservations after 5: 00 pm on the same day of arrival.
Additionally, due to our private commitments, we do not accept stays longer than 7 consecutive days.
We work for an increasingly eco-sustainable tourism, with particular regard to separate waste collection (at the highest levels), energy saving, the use of ecological detergents, and a preference for vintage furniture. Water comes from our own well and jams are made with fruits of our garden.
The Cottage lies in a village of the Friuli countryside, at 45 mins from both beaches and mountains: historic towns and hidden sites, wonderful view points, vineyards and lots of great wineries for wine tastings all around.
In the surroundings, antique markets on week-ends.
Central location to visit by car or train, all the most interesting places of Friuli region, Venice and East-Veneto, and Austria and Slovenia borders, all within 80 km radius.
Railway Station at 700mt away. Venice-Treviso-Trieste airports all within 1h/car.
Very good for overnight staying on journeys to/from Central-Northern Europe.

We are Ileana & Giulio and we have always been passionate about traveling in Central-Northern Europe, and in particular, everything that is British.
With our two daughters living abroad, one in Scotland and the other one in Senegal, we certainly are not a "static" family.
We love packing our bags and there is always a trip waiting to be taken..
We are also collectors of exclusively English old chinas and objects:
we look for them during our frequent trips to Great Britain and then... we enjoy participating as exhibitors in some flea markets here in the region.
We are also part of an amateur theatrical-musical company in our town
and this activity also brings us a lot of satisfaction.

We stayed at the end of March. The structure is very welcoming and beautiful in a central location to visit all the villages in the surroundings. As soon as you cross the gate, you find yourself catapulted into Great Britain! The place is really nice in a quiet environment. The family that runs it is super... makes you feel immediately comfortable and pampered. \nBreakfast deserves a 10 out of 10.

We had a great time at this beautiful English-style cottage. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely garden. Ileana and Giulio were courteous and caring. We hope to be able to come back soon. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast with a gracious host. Ileana warmly welcomed us. There is a private entrance to the bedroom which has a spacious private bathroom. The room is tastefully decorated, and there is space to move around. There is good storage for your clothing and other items. You have good Wifi access. The bed was very comfortable, and we fell asleep instantly. The B and B is located in a quiet neighbourhood, so you will surely get your rest. Breakfast was wonderful, and Ileana asks about your preferences but make sure you try her homemade jams! The breakfast room and table set up are beautiful, as seen from the pictures. You have a lovely view of the owner's well-maintained yard. Ileana goes the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable. You can tell she takes great pride in her B and B and wants nothing more than to make her guests happy. I would definitely return to this B and B because of the gracious host, her high standards and her extra finishing touches.

The owners of the property are very kind, helpful, and very nice, they were generous with information on what to see in the area. The room is very beautiful and everything is in perfect British style, obviously very clean and equipped with everything. Great stay.
