Description

The Casite B&B, a place to stay in Carso in absolute tranquility, without noise and traffic, without worries about parking.

The owners live in the same building, with separate entrances.

Four rooms are available for guests, all with independent entrances and private facilities, in the peace of an old Carso village, just a stone's throw away from the city center (only 10 minutes from the center of Trieste).

No parking problems, in a strategic location to visit the surroundings of Trieste and Slovenia. Trieste is only a ten-minute drive from the B&B.

We are close to Opicina, a stone's throw away from Slovenia, as well as the golf courses and tennis courts of Padriciano. Cattinara Hospital is only a few minutes away from the B&B.

Breakfast is always included, served in a designated area. An outdoor courtyard is available during the appropriate seasons, and bicycles and motorcycles can be stored inside the building.

Rustic but well-kept rooms. An authentic atmosphere can be felt, smelling of history, traditions, love, and respect for the land. The owner is an extremely kind and helpful person, thanks to whose stories the stay transforms into an immersive and educational experience of the deeper aspects of the local culture. P.S. Definitely worth consulting the booklets written by the property and made available to guests. Excellent breakfast!

Highly recommended! Martin and I are very excited about this wonderful accommodation. We felt very well taken care of by Alessandro and Barbara. The breakfast was excellent and the room very clean. The products served during breakfast are delicious, the manager is available for any doubts/questions, it is a small corner of serenity and peace away from the city's frenzy. The only thing is that sometimes you can hear noises from other guests staying in other rooms but it's a minor detail compared to the wonders that the place offers! I recommend it.

Very original, rooms renovated respecting the style of the place and the environment. All very clean, comfortable and functional. Complete breakfast with brioches, characteristic sweets, cheese, milk, yogurt, jams, fruit and local fruit juices. The B&B Le Casite is not just a place to stay a few minutes from Trieste, but it's meeting Alessandro and Barbara that's full of dialogue. We stayed over the weekend; the structure is convenient to visit the fascinating Trieste, at the same time away from the confusion, the place is convenient to take the tram from Opicina. If you are interested in stories, the stories of places, the stories of the people who inhabit the places, Le Casite will prepare you for listening. For our first visit to Trieste, Le Casite turned out to be a place that allowed us to discover the personality of the Carso and the irony of telling some traits of "being Triestine". If you want to be conquered by Alessandro's storytelling skills, you are in the right place to receive information, historical reconstructions, and so much passion for these countries, cities, and inhabitants (in all the languages in which they express themselves here).

The location allows you to take a step back 150 years. The village reminds me of my childhood spent in streets without the danger of being intoxicated by car exhaust. The breakfast is like in the old times: bread, butter, and jams, with additions of ham, sausages, and cheeses that never disappoint. If you ask Alessandro to remove some of that fragrant bread, he is so cute that he gives you the whole loaf. At the property, you will find two very nice guides written by the family hosting you, where there is a bit of everything: sightseeing, activities, eating, and above all, meditating. We have tried them and we are satisfied. In short, the price of the room is worth everything.

A short distance from Trieste and Slovenia, but immersed in the tranquility of a small village, we had a great time. The managers know how to be present and discreet at the same time. The room we stayed in is a small jewel of restoration. Breakfast included fresh bread, homemade pastries, honey, and local cheese. We will return.
