Description
The vacation home La Fontanella 1905 is named after the fountain located right in the center of the village of Villa Raspa where it is located. It is suitable for two or four people, has a size of about 50 square meters and is located on the first floor of a semi-detached house. It consists of a double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, a living area with equipped kitchen, table and chairs, and a double sofa bed. Additionally, there is a small terrace overlooking the garden.
Externally, the house features numerous stones embedded in the walls, which are inscriptions, Roman epigraphs. They were discovered by Marino Macor's grandfather, an avid collector of Roman artifacts, who created a rare private collection visible and available to everyone. Now, most of those artifacts are exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia. The stones are the subject of study; in fact, historians, students, and enthusiasts often come to visit.

The vacation home La Fontanella 1905 is located in the village of Villa Raspa, a quiet area near the countryside but at the same time a ten-minute walk from the historic center of Aquileia. You can take the suggestive walk along the river port or the trojs, a typical country lane, to be walked or cycled. Nearby is the village of Monastero and the Alpe Adria cycle path that will take you to Grado. By visiting Aquileia, you will find several restaurants and farms where you can taste typical local dishes and you can stop in the cellars to taste the wines of the area. Not least, the convenience of having Berto's market nearby the vacation home.
