The holiday home La Fontanella 1905 is named after the historic fountain located in the heart of the village of Villa Raspa, a defining feature that adds to the authentic charm of this stay. You can take the suggestive walk along the river port or the trojs, a typical country lane, to be walked or cycled. Nearby is the village of Monastero and the Alpe Adria cycle path that will take you to Grado. By visiting Aquileia, you will find several restaurants and farms where you can taste typical local dishes and you can stop in the cellars to taste the wines of the area. Not least, the convenience of having Berto's market nearby the vacation home.

Wonderful place with a very nice and helpful host, bicycles available, and close to the Aquileia architectural sites. Everything required is available, from converter plugs and bottled water to a moka pot and a fan. Only two possible improvements: the bed (the springs seem worn) and the toilet makes a constant dripping sound. Everything else is amazing.

We loved to stay in this apartment, located in a charming house with courtyard, in a nice and relaxed neighborhood. We could park with our car inside, and the host, Arianna, provided us with a proper place for storing our bicycles, too. Arianna was very kind, hospitable and helpful to us. We could taste her own tomato and the water from her backyard well. Although the house is not located right in the centre of Aquileia, still everything is within an easy walking distance. The apartment is large, comfortable and sufficiently equipped. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. By using either car or bicycle, starting from here, you can easily visit other interesting destinations outside of Aquileia, e.g. Grado, Palmanova, Marano Lagunare etc.
