Description
After our first experience as hosts with "Il Viandante di Trieste" (you can read the reviews on Booking) we decided to embark on this new adventure.
In an historic building sponsored by the Fine Arts and built in 1855 on a project by the architect Giovanni Degasperi, we have the pleasure of hosting you at the "Fermata del Viandante". Three large suites of 40 squared meters with exposed beams and equipped with all comforts: private bathroom, kitchenette (sink, refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine with welcome pods); located on the third and top floor, served by the lift and with disabled access.
The splendid building, to note the wooden door with bas-reliefs from the 19th century and the facade with bay window, is a strategic starting point for visiting the center of Trieste; the nearby Piazza Goldoni is in fact one of the fundamental hubs of the city (buses: 01, 06, 10, 20, 36, 44, etc.), on foot instead in just 5 minutes you get to Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, the largest square in Europe overlooking the sea.
To visit the city, we provide a mini guide "home-made", where you will find both the unmissable addresses such as wine bars, restaurants, cafes and museums and the little secrets of this incredible territory of borders.
We are lovers of food and good wine and we can't wait to recommend you some excursions on the Karst in search of small local producers.

This is an attractive, well-situated and well-furnished property, whose owner provided valuable advice for first-time visitors to Trieste, and also kindly and quickly let us back in when we had foolishly locked ourselves out. My only negative comment relates to the flat's suitability for those of advanced years, who will find it harder to get up from a mattress on the floor, and to navigate a flight of stairs between bed and bathroom.

Ottima accoglienza e ottima struttura. L'unica pecca è che è troppo centrale e quindi troppo vicina al traffico, causando troppo rumore. Inoltre, trovandosi in mansarda, si sentiva tanto la pioggia.

Mi sono piaciute le grandi dimensioni della camera, l'arredamento moderno, la cucina completamente attrezzata, la grande doccia e l'aria condizionata.
Anche la posizione centrale e la vicinanza alla stazione sono un vantaggio.
D'altra parte, i letti della camera n. 1 sono troppo usurati e cedevoli, e ho avuto dolori alla schiena durante le 3 notti, che ho segnalato alla reception.

Camera con tutto il necessario. Nelle vicinanze ci sono molte alternative per la colazione, come viene spiegato nella mini guida offerta dai proprietari.
Posizione ottima per raggiungere a piedi il centro e per spostarsi con i mezzi pubblici.
Ottima la qualità del sonno.

La camera era corrispondente alla descrizione, pulita e vicinissimo al centro. L'unica nota dolente è la mancanza della colazione, pratica che ultimamente i bed and breakfast usano attuare.

In un palazzo storico, ampio, luminoso, pulito e ben arrivato. Vicino alla stazione e a pochi passi dal centro. Accoglienza, cordialità e professionalità da parte dei titolari.

Ottima accoglienza della simpatica Carolina all'appartamento posto nel sottotetto di un palazzo storico, con lo scalone che apparteneva ad uno scomparso teatro, ti fa immergere già in un clima da belle époque; la stanza è ampia e ben ristrutturata, é dotato di tutto il necessario per un breve soggiorno e anche ben climatizzata. La zona è comoda per raggiungere il centro storico e ponterosso a piedi, il parcheggio a poca distanza nei pressi dell'ospedale. Il letto matrimoniale super comodo, il divano letto per due non proprio il massimo ma accettabile. Pulizia impeccabile ovunque. Unica piccola pecca, l'assenza del bidet, scusate dovevo dirlo.
Anche la comunicazione e gli accordi iniziali sono stati semplici e immediati.
Consiglio a tutti, coppie e famiglie, questo B&B!

Bell'appartamento ristrutturato in palazzo storico, posizionato in pieno centro. Nelle vicinanze a disposizione tutti i servizi.
