We are in the San Giacomo neighborhood, a historic and lively district in picturesque Trieste. A breakfast at the tables of Campo San Giacomo is a must before diving into the alleys that lead to the city center.
Our apartments are located in a beautiful late 19th-century building and have recently been restored.
My partner and I have just moved to Trieste to embark on this new adventure. We are passionate about food and wine, so we can't wait to give you some tips on good wine and cuisine.

Perfect environment for a family of 4, located less than half an hour on foot from the port. It has everything you need, very clean and comfortable. The management was perfect, kind and welcoming, providing all the necessary directions and available in case of need. Parking in the area requires patience, but there is a nearby underground parking to consider. Very quiet area even for evening walks. Recommended to friends and to keep in mind for future stops in the area. Thank you for everything, we felt really good.

We spent three days in this apartment and everything went very well. The apartment was clean and welcoming, although the beds were not exactly comfortable. The location is really convenient for reaching the city center, although finding parking in the area can be a bit difficult. We were very pleased to receive the mini guide from the owner: thanks to his advice, we were able to explore the city easily and discover some really nice places to eat. A pleasant and recommended stay!

Convenient basic 2-room apartment in a rather quiet street, with supermarket, bus stop and common shops within walking distance. I have never met the owners but the online contact was smooth and correct. The key lock is convenient to get access. The apartment is fine and equipped with a washing machine (which I did not use), but the kitchen is rather basic (e.g. no microwave or water cooker - I missed those from time to time). Also the presence of a little bit of salt, pepper, oil would have been nice to get started... (perhaps a suggestion for the future). Overall I found it a good place for my two-week stay (one person - two would also have been possible there though).

We had trouble finding the building, perhaps it would be appropriate to put a sign near the entrance door or wait for guests in the entrance hall. However, the apartment is as in the pictures: new, very clean, and comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor, there is an elevator, but only after climbing a flight of stairs (so let's say it is located on an intermediate landing, between the entrance and the 1st floor). It is difficult to find parking around the building, but not far away there is a multi-storey car park from which you can enter and exit as you please. A few meters away there is a public transport stop. The neighborhood is equipped with numerous shops and very close there is a fairly large playground surrounded by trees. Unfortunately, we could not use it because for 2 out of 3 days there was the Bora wind. Too bad! Excellent value for money! I recommend it!

Very kind manager, always available for any information. The building also includes an elevator (which helps a lot after the big stairs to climb 😂), the house fully respects the Anti-Covid regulations, very clean and super equipped with everything (including heating). It also includes high-speed internet and a Smart TV to watch Netflix or other services. I really enjoyed my stay, I hope to return again!

We spent a weekend. Gabriele and Carolina treated us very well at all times. We were able to check in early, they recommended very good places for the aperitif, eating, and having an ice cream. All the recommended places were great. We also went to an osmize they told us about and had a great afternoon. In addition, the apartment is newly renovated and super clean, you feel at home. It's about 12 minutes from the center, but there are bus stops in front that take you to the center or the train and bus station quickly if you don't want to walk. One hundred percent recommended, thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

Well-maintained structure, more than decent cleanliness, kind managers offered information about the area. The apartment is in excellent condition in a popular area, close to supermarket, bars, and bakeries, quite quiet. The only downside is the parking, a shot in the dark. Overall, it deserves a solid 8. The Viandante di Trieste is welcoming and clean, the staff is helpful, good location served by efficient public urban transport service. I would recommend it to my friends.

Spacious, spotless, and excellently equipped apartment. The managers are very professional and at the same time extremely courteous and helpful. Extremely advantageous quality/price ratio. In short: highly recommended to everyone, including hygiene maniacs (like my wife).

The apartment is brand new and well maintained, very clean and quite large for a couple. We spent the weekend in Trieste and it was nice especially because it's a 15-minute walk from the center. Gabriele and Carolina are very kind and very nice people, extremely helpful and full of useful suggestions. We will definitely consider their B&B for other trips to Trieste! Thanks again.

We were greeted with courtesy and competence by Gabriele and his partner. They gave us the information we requested and were always available, surprising us one morning with freshly baked bread.
The apartment is well renovated and furnished in an essential way, tastefully exploiting the spaces.
The apartment is located in a well-served area, so it is easy and convenient to do the shopping.
The small criticality concerns the parking which is not always available, but in case a few steps away you can find a paid garage.
Convenient for visiting the city and beyond (we traveled a lot, also visiting Slovenia), this apartment has all the features to make you spend a pleasant holiday!

The Viandante di Trieste is superb, like being at home. Cozy, comfortable apartment equipped with everything. Strategic location. In the neighborhood, there are supermarkets, pubs, pizzerias, the amazing pizza from Saint James, pastry shops. Finally, Gabriele the manager is an exceptional person, kind and helpful. Carolina was also welcoming. Thank you for the great advice/suggestions. The holiday was wonderful. Highly recommended.
