Mamma Loretta, together with dad Maurizio and children Chiara, Elisa, and Michele, are delighted to welcome guests into their home and are happy to share their passion for skiing, trekking, and biking.
The house has private parking and a secure storage room where guests can leave bicycles, skis, and other necessary items for their stay. In case of need, guests can also use the available equipment for minor repairs. Bike enthusiasts are provided with a portion of the garage for overnight motorcycle parking.
The breakfast menu and schedule will be arranged upon arrival. During the summer, breakfast can be served outside under the portico, while in winter it is served in the tavern.
Respect for the environment and energy saving were central themes in the design of the house. The building is equipped with a photovoltaic system, wall-mounted radiant heating, central vacuum, rainwater recovery, and home automation.
The building is located in a quiet and central position in relation to many places of interest in Carnia. Just to give you an idea, it is only 25 minutes from the ski slopes of Zoncolan, 5 minutes from Tolmezzo and the hospital, 5 minutes from the archaeological excavations of Zuglio, 8 minutes from the Terme di Arta, 20 minutes from Lake dei Tre Comuni, and 20 minutes from the Great War Museum in Timau.
The recent construction of a cycle path allows walkers and cyclists to reach many places in Carnia safely and peacefully. Furthermore, upon reservation, Maurizio will be delighted to accompany guests in discovering the fantastic mountain bike trails traced along the Carnic Alps, crossing pristine landscapes with breathtaking views. Possibility of on-site rental of 2 e-bikes.
Services included in the reservation: Overnight stay and breakfast, linen, towels, toiletries, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, room cleaning, heating, secure storage for skis and bicycles, additional baby cot, ski pass sales point, agreements with local restaurants and shops, bike rental.

Hi, I’m Loretta and I manage my B&B “Da mamma Lo”.
After a long meditation I decided to give up my job, to fully concentrate on my family.
This has taken me something, but at the same time has given me lots of satisfactions.
I am the mum of Chiara, Elisa and Michele, as well as Maurizio’s wife.
We are an excellent team, as we perform a lot of activities together.

This is the reason why we all practice ski, mountain bike and trekking.
Kitchen-garden is my passion. I like to sow, take care of my plants and then harvest them, as I am aware I’ll bring onto my table healthy and genuine products, which are not contaminated by any chemical fertilizer.
My hobby is also creating handicrafts, using very simple fabrics, that I then sell at Christmas markets.

You can find the house very easily, the location is very good, there is a parking spot available, the surroundings are calm. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Loretta, the owner, is totally friendly, nice, and helpful. All our requests were met. Superb accommodation. Recommended.

We stayed for a short time, unfortunately, I gave high scores because they are deserved. But what matters most to me is the relationship with those who manage it, in three days I felt at home, I didn't feel like a stranger at all, wonderful people. Excellent base for exploring the Carnia region, in 45 minutes you can reach San Daniele del Friuli, Sauris, and Zoncolan. In 60 minutes you can head back to the plain or further north. The house is very new, super comfortable, and with Wi-Fi. Two rooms with dedicated services. The bathrooms are ultra-modern and comfortable. Free parking. On foot, you can reach a great place for dinner, and for the more adventurous, even Tolmezzo. Da Mamma Lo is fantastic, precise, and the perfect breakfast to start the day. If you are MTB enthusiasts, ask the husband for the best itineraries to climb Zoncolan.

Beautiful accommodation, cozy and very clean room. Super comfortable shower in the bathroom. Simple but delicious breakfast with jams and cakes prepared directly by Da Mamma Lo. And what about the hosts? Friendly and helpful. They have the ability to make you feel at home right away.

Veramente bello, siamo stati accolti da "mamma lo" con gentilezza e sorriso poi in un secondo momento abbiamo conosciuto la sua famiglia a loro volta gentili e carini, la casa è grande e ben strutturata, poi quando siamo entrati nella nostra camera.
Tutto al suo posto, curata, pulita, accogliente, in pratica perfetta, il bagno grande spazioso e limpido, la colazione buona e gustosa, sicuramente torneremo, ma sopratutto lo consigliamo!

Soggiornare "da mamma Lo" è stata una piacevole esperienza. Già dai primi contatti si intuisce il clima familiare che caratterizza il B&B. Ospitali e discreti, Loretta e la sua famiglia ci hanno consiglito percorsi e punti di interesse della zona durante le piacevoli chiacchierate serali. La struttura è nuova e ben curata, la stanza ed il bagno sono ampi e pulitissimi. La casa è situata in posizione ottimale per visitare la Carnia, percorrendo strade poco trafficate ideali per moto o bici.
Un'accoglienza sincera e genuina che ci ha ricordato quella dei B&B irlandesi.
Speriamo di tornarci presto.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betreiberfamilie war äußerst sympathisch, aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit!
Das Haus ist modern und geschnackvoll eingerichtet und hat einen schönen, großen Garten.
Beim liebevoll zubereiteten Frühstück wird auf die individuellen Wünsche eingegangen.

Ho soggiornato qui con un'amica in occasione della festa della zucca di Venzone. Ci siamo trovate benissimo: il B&B è nuovissimo, situato tra i monti della Carnia, in una zona tranquilla e tutta da esplorare. È comunque vicinissimo a Tolmezzo e ad altre località turistiche. Le stanze sono perfettamente pulite e ammobiliate con molto gusto. Tutta la famiglia è calorosa e disponibile; la colazione è abbondante e costituita da prodotti fatti in casa dalla signora. La torta alle mele era buonissima. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

Che dire erano 28 anni che non tornavo in Carnia il Raduno degli Alpini a Paluzza è stata un occasione che oltre a riportarmi nei luoghi dei miei 20 anni mi ha fatto conoscere una famiglia stupenda.
Devo fare i complimenti a Loretta e Maurizio perché non è facile gestire un attivita e allo stesso tempo una famiglia meravigliosa come la loro.
Devo dire che la struttura, la pulizia, il servizio sono veramente da 10 e lode per cui mi ripropongo di tornare magari per trascorrere qualche periodo un po' più lungo.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato per due giorni in questo B&B e devo dire che ci siamo trovati molto bene, accolti e coccolati come in famiglia. Abbiamo condiviso pensieri e principi sia morali che sportivi che sono rari in famiglie giovani. auguriamo loro ogni bene in particolare ai tre figli molto bravi.
