We chose the property mainly for its convenient location: halfway between Trieste and the airport. It was a pleasant discovery and we promised ourselves to keep it in mind for a future trip to Trieste. The Bonavia B&B is a small gem in the area. The structure, very clean, is warm and welcoming like its owner. The style of the furnishings and interiors has several typical features of Karst houses. We really appreciated this aspect because it made our stay much more pleasant. In addition to the excellent rest in a comfortable bed (the area is quiet and surrounded by greenery), it must be said that the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. It will definitely be our first choice if we were to return to Trieste.

Exceptional. I have no other words. Room furnished with style with a particular attention to the clients' needs. Everything we needed was there. Super breakfast and extreme kindness of the host in meeting our dietary intolerances. The location is perfect, close to everything, especially perfect for visiting the area.

Excellent welcome with total availability of the owner. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Ample parking in front of the property. Easy to reach the center on foot and to the Rilke Trail. Absolutely recommended.

Furnished with style, spacious areas and a garden where children can play and adults can relax. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. The owners are very kind and available for the various needs that have arisen. Located just outside Trieste but convenient to reach various neighboring destinations. Well-located structure near the Sistiana bay sea, also convenient for visiting Duino Castle, both by car and on foot. The structure is an inhabited villa, with 2 independent lateral apartments overlooking the villa's garden. The owners are very affable and courteous, they welcomed us with a smile and always showed full availability, they didn't let us miss anything, not even advice when needed. I highly recommend it to everyone.

At the home of special people, one feels welcomed as part of the family. Much kindness and attention to the smallest details allowed us and our two children to spend a very pleasant week as guests of Elena and Andrea and their wonderful children. Highly recommended especially for families.

Arriving at Bonavia and being greeted with a smile and a bottle of red wine immediately made us understand that with such a welcome we could only be in for a treat! The rooms made available by the owners are anything but small spaces converted and rearranged haphazardly for short stays, everything is designed, furnished with style, sophistication, and functionality. You can comfortably sit in the tavern chatting after the abundant breakfast, relax in the garden enjoying the silence, or engage with the owners who kindly and graciously, but never intrusively, stop by to exchange a few words. Moreover, it is a perfect starting point to visit the Trieste coast and the Carso. A few days at Bonavia made us forget about the bills to pay, the emails to read, and the daily stress... we will definitely come back! Alessandro, Alessia, Maria Teresa, Mauro, Paola, and Patrizia.
