Welcome to “Ai Glicini” (“The Wisteria”) !
Our beautiful, completely restored, 19th century colonial house invites you for a memorable stay.

You can choose between two large rooms, each one with a private bathroom and a complete kitchenette. Both rooms are brand new: the “Iris’ room features light blue tones, while the “Sunflowers” room delights with its solar atmosphere. Both combine modern and antique pieces in a pleasant and harmonious integration. The walls are decorated with floral motifs for a romantic and poetic feel. Located in a private side of the house with an independent entrance, they have separate heating/cooling systems, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Every detail was chosen with care to create the ideal place that we ourselves look for when we travel.

A network of bike lanes connects us to many places of great archeological and naturalistic interest such as Aquileia, Grado and Strassoldo.

And we’ll happily give you more useful information on restaurants, shopping and entertainment in the area.

We are nature enthusiasts and we cultivate a garden where we grow ancient seeds. Currently, we have tomatoes, beans, and corn that we exchange with other enthusiasts in order to preserve biodiversity. With our stone mill, we grind the corn and make delicious polenta. Sandra and Lucio.

We stayed for 5 nights with a couple of friends at Mrs. Sandra's accommodation, which is located a little outside the town of Cervignano, but very quiet and very convenient for reaching the main points of interest in the region. We spent 10 days at B&B Ai Glicini. For those who love tranquility like us, it is the ideal place. The blue room was really welcoming, clean and well kept. Beautiful B&B, very clean and well-kept in every detail. Mrs. Sandra is very, very hospitable, attentive, extremely discreet, and elegant in her person and manners. Above all: a splendid, well-kept blooming park, rich in fountains, the shade of majestic essences, and fragrances. Two delightful, calm cats observe the guests from a distance. Moreover: thanks to its location near the state road, although not disturbed at all, it allows you to reach many beautiful important towns like Grado, Palmanova, Gorizia, Gradisca, and even Cormons in a short time, between fifteen and thirty minutes.

Two very spacious rooms with a large kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. The property, quiet at night, also offers guests a large garden/orchard. 10 minutes on foot from Cervignano but especially equidistant (max 40 km) from all cultural sites in the area (Aquileia, Grado, Marano Lagoon, Trieste, Gorizia, Udine, Cividale del Friuli, etc.). Ai Glicini is located in a large estate. The apartment is situated at the back of the house with a beautiful view of large trees. The estate appears to be well-maintained with a lot of love. Similarly, the apartment is designed and furnished with great care. The contact with host Sandra is characterized by kindness and unobtrusive attention. Privacy is respected yet you don't feel left alone. Small moments of interaction are always pleasant. A place to feel very comfortable.

By chance we chose this property for a short vacation in the Friulian plain. By chance we found a beautiful, new room, equipped with every comfort. We stayed four days at Bed & Kitchen Ai Glicini and we had a great time. The owner Mrs. Sandra was very friendly and warmly welcomed us, her breakfasts under the beautiful pergola were abundant and very tasty. The mini apartment where we stayed is furnished with all comforts, very clean, with a fully equipped kitchenette and windows overlooking a beautiful garden. What else to say? It is pleasant to stay there, we recommend it to everyone. Everything is absolutely perfect.

With my wife, we spent a fantastic week at this Bed & Kitchen Ai Glicini where we found a particularly relaxing and family atmosphere, thanks to the hospitality, cordiality, and sympathy of Sandra and her husband Lucio. Unforgettable were the wonderful breakfasts under the pergola with cakes, bread, and jams masterfully prepared by Sandra. We decided to book with them for September, another 2 weeks, and continue the visit to this wonderful region, rich in history, nature, and wonderful people from a human perspective.

Normally we don't care about reviews, but in this case Giulio and I want to make an exception for Sandra. We had a great time, the room is beautiful and spacious, the vegetable garden and the garden surrounding the house. Breakfasts outdoors, cuddly cats, chats with other guests; everything made us feel at home. But it's Sandra who makes the place special, a mix of friendliness, kindness with a hint of discretion. Not to mention her breakfasts, sweet or savory, all homemade, including bread. Thank you for everything.

From the first phone contact, the kindness and availability of Mrs. Sandra immediately put us at ease. The farmhouse is very beautiful. With my wife Serena, we spent a splendid six-night stay at the 'Bed & Kitchen Ai Glicini', which seems more like a farmhouse than a B&B. It is located in a quiet area and is surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept garden with trees, fruit plants, and pergolas of strawberry grape and wisteria that, with their own scent, pervade the surrounding air. The room, furnished with good taste and newly finished, is equipped with all the comforts: air conditioning (which was very useful), fridge, kitchenette, large bathroom, and a soft and comfortable bed that promotes complete relaxation. Cleaning and service in general are really well taken care of, thanks to the hostess Sandra, assisted by her husband Lucio, two truly special and prepared people who made us feel at ease as if we were at home. Sandra is very talented, she prepares delicious products for breakfast: pastries, jams, bread, yogurt that are served under a cool pergola. We already miss these tasty breakfasts, as well as the pleasant chats with Sandra and Lucio, with whom we found ourselves in harmony from the first day of our stay; they also provided valuable information on places to visit in FVG. So, a wonderful vacation, made in an excellent structure at affordable prices, in a region that deserves to be visited for what it offers both from a historical and natural landscape perspective, where sea and mountains are just an hour's drive away. The food and wine are truly enjoyable and all this allows you to fully experience what this territory has to offer, even in a short time.

We stayed only two nights and we had a great time, the structure is very clean and welcoming, it is not just a room but a real mini apartment with independent entrance and kitchenette and fridge; the bathroom is very spacious, new and clean. Very well-kept environment in detail and next to the bed, on the bedside table a book of beautiful thoughts for good night. Mrs. Sandra, the landlady, is very kind and very attentive to her guests. And the breakfast was a real surprise, given the nice weather it is served outdoors under a pergola in contact with nature. Sandra did not miss anything and even prepared a cake without milk and eggs for our intolerances. In the evening, coming back late in the garden, you could see the fireflies. Too bad we couldn't stay there longer, but if we come back to the area we will definitely go back. And thanks again Sandra for calling us to know if we had a good return home.

It is in a great location to reach quickly and comfortably all the characteristic places in the area: from Aquileia to Palmanova, from Grado to Udine, from Cividale to Trieste. The room is brand new and equipped with a kitchen and a large bathroom, parking space in the courtyard closed by a gate. The owner accommodated us for breakfast due to allergies. The delightful place, in a town like Cervignano del Friuli to find this farmhouse immersed in green surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a structure from another era modernized and turned into a Bed & Breakfast was a nice experience. The room with a kitchenette and private bathroom is truly welcoming and comfortable. The hospitality is impeccable and the managers very kind and helpful. For those who love peace, greenery and want to spend relaxing moments while being just a few kilometers from seaside resorts and tourist attractions, I recommend it.

The studio apartment where I stayed is very nice, well-kept and welcoming, equipped with all comforts. Mrs. Sandra hosted me like a friend. Her breakfasts, cakes made by her, as well as yogurt and jams give a good start to the day (especially for me who was there for work). A tip: equip yourself to also accommodate four-legged friends.

Excellent Bed & Kitchen Ai Glicini strategically located to reach both the sea and areas of historical and archaeological interest and within a couple of hours by car also the mountains. Exquisite and very kind hosts. Mrs. Sandra always available prepares fresh cakes, bread, and yogurt every day with her own hands to be eaten with her jams and fresh cream. My children played with the lady's cats and were able to run in the backyard chasing the neighbor's hens and roosters. Recommended to everyone, both families and couples looking for relaxation.

Particularly warm welcome in a beautiful house surrounded by an equally splendid park. Sandra is a host with great humanity but also an excellent pastry chef. She made us enjoy her talents by serving us delicious pastries in the morning for breakfast, made by her with, among other things, the fruits from the orchard. The part reserved for vacationers is spacious and comfortable, meticulously clean. We spent 5 days there and would have gladly extended our stay because the location of the place allows, between lagoon and mountain, to discover a region with a rich heritage at the crossroads of different cultures.

Both Sandra and Lucio were incredible hosts for our first time in Italy. The house is situated only a short walk into the town. Our room (which was more like a small apartment) was clean, welcoming and most of all warm - which was needed in the chilly but beautiful Italian winter. Walking down stairs and into the homely kitchen, we ate tasty breads, yogurt and drank coffee that Sandra had made all herself. There are some household cats who are delights to sit with by the fire and curl up on a chair with you. Sandra and Lucio both greeted us with welcome arms and as we said goodbye (a little worse for wear on New Years Day..only fixed after Sandra had made us an breakfast worthy of a king and filled our belly with coffee) we vowed to return, hopefully each season to soak up Cervignano, their pet cats and get more of that Italian culture and amazing hospitality!

It was as if we had known each other for a long time, Sandra and Lucio welcomed us warmly, which we greatly appreciated, and we often engaged in pleasant "naturalistic" conversations and listened to Lucio's interesting stories. The breakfast prepared by Sandra's magical hands is excellent and abundant, and we will certainly not forget the variety of cakes that delighted us throughout our (unfortunately too short!) stay. Very nice Italian country house, spacious, with beautiful rooms, bathroom, kitchenette. In the library room there are publications about the local attractions. Beautiful large garden with a view of the mountains. Ideal starting point for excursions in the area: Aquileia, Grado, Palmanova, Cividale del Friuli, Isonzo river valley, Doberdó, Hungarian historical sites, etc. The hosts Sandra and Lucio are very kind people. We are a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and our stay was exceptional. The room is a mini-apartment with kitchen, fridge, and spacious bathroom. The property is located in a vast garden perfectly maintained by the owners. Cervignano is the ideal base to visit the entire Friulian plain (from Pordenone to Trieste) and is very close to Aquileia, Grado, and its lagoon. The owners are very kind and helpful (they also provided a crib for the little one for free); the breakfast is abundant and well-prepared. In short, we would return!

The 9 vacation days with Sandra and Lucio were wonderful with our 1½ year old daughter. They were always concerned about our well-being, and the atmosphere is almost like family and very relaxing. The apartment is spacious, very clean, with comfortable beds, new and tasteful, equipped with a large bathroom and a nice kitchenette. The breakfast is plentiful with homemade jam, freshly baked bread, and a new excellent cake every day. It is served in the living room and, in good weather, even in the garden gazebo. Depending on the season, there are fresh figs, grapes, pears, and tomatoes directly from the organic garden and fresh drinking water from the garden well. The location is ideal for various excursion destinations. The seaside resort of Grado is reachable via an almost continuous, well-built bike path away from the main road. For this, we were able to rent mountain bikes for free. We can only recommend the accommodation. It is the best we have had so far in Italy. When we left, it felt like saying goodbye to good friends. We could have rightly made use of the "ius primae sententiae" (I do not think something like this exists, but I believe it conveys the idea well) since last year, at the beginning of July, we inaugurated - as guests - the structure. We did not do it then because it might have seemed like a self-review. This year we were guests again, always at the beginning of July, of the two splendid mini apartments, and now we confirm the more than positive judgment both for the quality of the hospitality and for the kindness of Sandra and Lucio (for us not managers, but sincere and splendid friends by now). The strategic location of the Glicini allowed us to make a few trips to the archaeological sites of Aquileia and sometimes reach the coast to visit Duino and sunbathe in Barcola; and, let us say, also to taste some good products from the vines of Collio. Everything was obviously favored by the rich morning breakfasts based on the products of the "house", which were valid fuel for the subsequent excursions. See you soon!
