The charming B&B "Le Cupole" is pleased to welcome you to its exclusive shabby-style structure, in the heart of Trieste, just steps away from the splendid Piazza Unità and all the beauties offered by the city. The B&B has been completely renovated and revamped with modern elements, while still preserving the precious shabby and vintage atmosphere beloved by the owner. The location of our charming Bed and Breakfast is suitable not only for tourists visiting Trieste, but is also ideal for those who need to stay for professional and family reasons in an elegant and comfortable environment. It consists of 4 eco-friendly rooms, each one different from the other, meticulously curated with every detail, equipped with air conditioning, independent and centralized heating, mini fridge, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bath towels (changed every 3 days), courtesy line, 40" HD TV, free Wi-Fi internet connection, soundproof double-glazed windows, Italian breakfast in the room with tea/chamomile preparation set in the Little Shabby room, daily cleaning, city map, crib/toddler bed (available upon request, for an additional fee). For each room, a dominant color has been chosen, with details that recall the same tones and shades. In the lounge, everything is ready for you to relax and enjoy an excellent herbal tea in complete relaxation after a day spent in the ancient streets of the city.

My name is Sarah and for many years I have dedicated myself to B&Bs. It is my passion and I will be happy to welcome you to my Shabby-style B&B in the heart of the historic center of Trieste! But let's start from the beginning. I lived in Rome from the age of 20, working in the field of film and television production. You can imagine how different it was compared to B&Bs. But one evening, during a casual dinner, I met two friends who had a real estate agency and I proposed to them to open a section dedicated to B&Bs together, but it was 1998! You can imagine the differences compared to today. So, I put all my effort into knocking on the doors of the B&Bs of that time. Internet was just starting to take off and there weren't many, in fact, everyone agreed to collaborate with us as intermediaries. But as you know, in companies, the number must be odd, and since there were less than 2, I worked alone, so I stepped aside. But after 15 years (during which I had changed several jobs), I became pregnant with twins and decided to risk everything by opening a B&B. Unfortunately, the story did not have a happy ending, because I lost the twins in the seventh month. But thanks to this enormous tragedy, I put my heart and soul into my new business and it went well! Now you may be wondering, "But what are you doing in Trieste? Didn't you live in Rome?" Well, I fell in love with a person from Trieste. Trieste is my hometown, there is so much to do here, and we are living another new adventure where I have created my little masterpiece, the B&B Le Cupole!

Two disappointing notes: 1) More can be done with the "breakfast" part of the service. The breakfast room is perfectly set up, but the food and drink offerings are disappointing: a handful of bland snacks, a pitcher of room temperature tap water, and a few coffee capsules leave much to be desired. The tables showcase large coffee mugs, but where is the milk? 2) The air conditioners hardly cool at all.

Buongiorno Ci dispiace per la sua recensione ma non comprendiamo il motivo chi viene da noi lo Sa benissimo lei compreso me lo ha chiesto al telefono Le suggerisco di trovarsi un luogo con colazione se questo era la sua richiesta inutile andare la dov’è non è presente Le persone si comprano le loro cose e possono utilizzare i tavoli Noi non abbiamo proprio la colazione disponibile per scelta poiché la gente faceva molta confusione in salone la mattina ed avendo un hotel chi la preferisce alloggia di la Qui gentilmente offriamo cialde caffe a volontà. I condizionatori sono perfetti abbiamo verificato Forse ha sbagliato il programma Le auguro buone cose.

Sarah no longer provides breakfast, but offers a kettle, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, and some biscuits. Small and tastefully furnished double room. However, the price is high for a room without breakfast and with a bathroom outside the room. It was difficult to find a more affordable accommodation; Trieste seemed like an expensive city.

Grazie per aver speso un minuto del suo tempo Mi meraviglio di questa recensione Poiché ha speso 30€ in meno al giorno dal prezzo pubblicato grazie ad un errore del gestionale e la sincronizzazione dei prezzi tant’è che volevo cancellare la prenotazione , ne avevamo già parlato e non ha neanche pagato la tassa di soggiorno…glielo’ho inclusa …Noi ci Troviamo nel cuore della città il bagno è privato e la sua camera era una matrimoniale anche se lei era sola... e dunque ha pagato un prezzo eccezionale per questa stagione, non siamo una struttura Lowcost. Una Lezione per me ad offrire e a far sconti… Cordialità Cordialità.

Absolutely nothing to complain about! The room is clean, nice, and comfortable, in a building located in the historic center, 5 minutes from Piazza Unità d’Italia. Triple extra vote for Sara, the owner, for the exquisite and endless kindness and availability she has shown us.

I would like to thank Mrs. Sarah who warmly hosted us and add that, despite the restrictions imposed by Covid (I refer mainly to the impossibility of making breakfast superb, having to offer tourists only packaged but still abundant and quality food!), we spent a week finally in peace and tranquility, in an elegant and sober environment at the same time. We will definitely come back Sarah, to taste your homemade delights. Goodbye Trieste.

Nice Bed and Breakfast in the center of Trieste. Beautiful structure. The building has the charm of a historic palace. The room is tastefully furnished, too bad the air conditioner is noisy. Luckily, from the second evening there was a nice breeze and it was possible to sleep with the window open. By midnight, no more noises could be heard from the street. The external bathroom, although for private use, is a bit small. While staying alone, I didn't have major issues, but 2 people would have had little space even for towels and to place their things. I believe the room I stayed in is called 'the romantic one'.

A 10 stay. Very pleasant structure in a beautiful palace furnished with taste and love, spacious common areas where you can start your day quietly with a pleasant breakfast or relax sipping a herbal tea in the afternoon. Rooms all excellently heated where silence reigns, despite being in the center of Trieste. It is far from the noises as it is located in a pedestrian area with a wonderful view of the sea and the domes that give the name to the structure. Saying thank you to Sarah, excellent host, is not enough.. truly good for the love with which she manages her house, for her availability and attention to detail. Thanks to Diletta, her collaborator, a sweet and kind girl. Thank you Sarah, we will definitely come back.

B&B Very cozy and centrally located. If all the rooms had an ensuite bathroom, it would be perfect. I recommend the rooms with an internal bathroom: from ours, a spacious room for three people, you had to pass through the breakfast room and the atrium to reach the bathroom.
