Description

B&B MonteCengio, located a short walk from the center of Trieste, is the perfect place for those who want to stay in Trieste and at the same time enjoy the tranquility of being surrounded by greenery. The B&B offers guests three rooms, each with its own independent entrance, a dedicated outdoor space, and parking. Guests can choose to stay in a triple room, a double room, or a small double room, all of which have a private bathroom. Our air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, internet access, a baby bed (if requested), television, kettle, mirror, and luggage rack. In the morning, breakfast is served directly in the room or, in the summer, in the outdoor patio with a buffet featuring local and seasonal products. Guests have access to their own reserved parking space. Due to the unique nature of the structure, located in a green oasis in the center of Trieste, the road narrows and some vehicles such as large SUVs may have difficulty entering the parking area. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.

B&B MonteCengio is located in a residential area in the center of Trieste, surrounded by greenery. The center is easily accessible on foot in 15 minutes, and the structure is served by numerous bus lines, with the nearest stop being via Fabio Severo, from where you can walk up 150 meters to the B&B. Around the B&B, you will find an organic supermarket, a typical Trieste pastry shop, and all the other services you may need.

Area city center

We are located in a central area: just a few minutes' walk from XX Settembre Avenue, the Courthouse, Oberdan Square, Goldoni Square, and the University of Trieste. It can be reached by several buses, some of which depart directly from the Train Station or from the nearby Oberdan Square. Each room has a private parking space. The B&B is situated at the top of a hill, just enough to be away from traffic while still being close to the city center.

The host was very kind, both from the first phone contact, very available and precise. The structure has been recently renovated, the room is very welcoming and with well-distributed spaces. It is equipped with every comfort, brand new bathroom. Breakfast is served in the room, very punctual, and with a wide selection of food. It is very close to the center, which can be reached quickly on foot. The only downside? The access road, like in the whole city, is narrow, so it is better to choose (but this, I repeat, applies to the whole city) the smallest car available. We will return!

I had a fantastic week. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, optimal cleanliness, excellent breakfast, strategic location of the B&B. Mr. Paolo is a wonderful person, very friendly and helpful, as well as his family. Thank you from the heart. I highly recommend it and for sure if I had to come back to Trieste I will go back to Mr. Paolo because it's like being with family.
