The Bed and Breakfast “Al Ponterosso” is located in a strategic central area of the town, at the hearth of the famous “Borgo teresiano” and looks onto the “Ponterosso” Square in a central shopping area with excellent public transport access (bus stops are very close to the B&B).
The B&B can be your headquarter for your explorations in a fascinating and evocative landscape where you will discover the culture, traditions and sights of some of the most beautiful Italian towns. Every part of Trieste has churches, monuments, museums and of course a rich gastronomic tradition that offers a large range of wine and food specialties for your delectation.
Our modern B&B with all comfort offers bedrooms with private bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, towels, soap, shampoo, etc.
If you arrive in Trieste by train you can walk to the B&B (around 10 minutes) or take a bus (line 30) just in front of the railway station and then get off at the third stop: you will find the B&B on the corner of Ponterosso Square.
If arriving by car you can find a free parking space in the street under the B&B. Otherwise we will be glad to help you with finding it in the vicinity. As an alternative you can leave your car in the paid parking area of Ponterosso Square (free parking from 8 pm until 8 am) or in the parking area of “Molo IV” at favorable rates (10 euro every 24 hours).

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum..
Sehr zentral direkt am Piazza Ponto Rosso gelegen. Der einzige Nachteil: Es gibt keine Parkplatze direkt bei der Unterkunft. Wir haben in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs geparkt.
Die Zimmer sind geräumig und individuell sowie geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Kein 0815 Hotelzimmer.
Das Frühstück im Wohnzimmer der Wirte ist reichhaltig und vielfältig.
Der Charme ist das Familäre an der Unterkunft. Allerdings ist der Wirt nicht all zu zuverlässig. Obwohl wir die ungefähre Ankunftszeit gemailt hatten, war erst einmal keiner da.

Una stanza accogliente in pieno centro storico con tutte le comodità! Il bagno si trova all'esterno della stanza, ma non dà alcun fastidio, in quanto è ad uso esclusivo dell'ospite. Vicinissimo al molo audace e piazza dell'unità d'Italia, nonché di innumerevoli locali e ristoranti tipici. Castello Miramare e la grotta gigante sono a ca. 20 minuti di auto. La zona è tranquilla nonostante i bar sottostanti, le finestre chiuse tolgono qualsiasi rumore. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio. Tutto perfetto, lo consigliamo!

La proprietaria è molto cordiale e disponibile e la posizione è a dir poco ottima!

Comodo B&B centralissimo, affacciato su una bellissima piazza di Trieste, silenziosa la notte. Camera ampia, calda e luminosa, dotata di ogni comfort. Ottima accoglienza, titolari simpatici. Consigliato.

Gestori cordiali, disponibili e gentilissimi. Colazione buonissima e abbondante con croissant deliziosi.
Pulizia impeccabile.
Posizione centrale nella splendida Trieste.

Abbiamo soggiornato nel B&B per tre giorni e siamo stati benissimo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Il B&B è in pieno centro a Trieste ed è possibile raggiungere a piedi tutto.

Sono stato ospite della struttura X 5 notti con parte della mia famiglia. Sin dall'arrivo, la calda e rispettosa accoglienza dei padroni di casa, è stata molto apprezzata. La successiva sempre attenta cortese disponibilità, la grande umanità profusa X farci sentire sempre a nostro agio, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno eccellente. Non aggiungo altro, tutto magnifico, arredi; pulizia; confort trovato; posizione ecc. Vale veramente la pena soggiornarvi. Auguri.

B&B veramente ottimo, posizionato in centro città, facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione, a pochi passi dai punti di maggior interesse. I gestori sono molto cordiali e simpatici, molto disponibili. La colazione è ottima e abbondante. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. In caso di ritorno a Trieste mi rivolgerò senza dubbio ancora a loro.

Servizio veramente eccellente: la mia ragazza ed io siamo stati in questo b and b la settimana scorsa ed abbiamo potuto constatare la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari, la cura e la pulizia dei locali. Faccio notare, ad esempio, alcuni piccoli particolari che fanno la differenza: la proprietaria, Prinzi, ci ha accolti con rose bianche appena raccolte adagiate sui teli della Bassetti, caffè offerto su un vassoio di argento e omaggio finale quando li abbiamo salutati! Il proprietario mi ha accompagnato la sera per aiutarmi a trovare un parcheggio gratuito.
La colazione è buonissima e ricca.
Struttura veramente top!

Accoglienza perfetta.
L'ambiente è silenzioso e confortevole, piacevole per la posizione, per altro non lontano dalla stazione e a due passi dal centro storico, i proprietari sono molto accoglienti e cercano di venire incontro ad ogni esigenza. Lo consiglio a persone in vacanza ma molto anche a persone che vanno per studio o per lavoro.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti presso il B&B al Ponterosso. Il giudizio non può che essere positivo per una serie di motivi: gentilezza dei proprietari (Andrea e Prinzi), eccellente posizione della struttura (sul Canal Grande, cioè nel Centro Storico della città), ottima e abbondante colazione, pulizia. Se io e mia moglie - che non siamo più giovanissimi e quando viaggiamo facciamo riferimento sempre ai B&B - abbiamo trascorso una indimenticabile vacanza a Trieste, molto merito va ascritto a Andrea e Prinzi.
