“Who is about to enter the railway station of the city', it perceives to the right a villa of good taste Tuscan" (from G. Grion, "historical Guide of Cividale and his/her district. " Tip. F. Strazzolini, Cividale 1899).

The Bed & Breakfast "Casa CARBONARA" it is found in center to Cividale of the Friuli, to the side of the pedestrian zone, to 5 minutes afoot from the Railway Station and to 3 minutes from the Bus Station, nearby in an ample free parking lot.

Casa Carbonara is a historian ladylike villa surrounded by a secular Park, from the ample rooms with tall ceilings and floors in wood.

It’s lived by an italo-Spanish family that offers hospitality in 3 double rooms with two baths, situated to the 1º floor, with ample room breakfasts to the ground floor, independent entry and a part of disposition garden.

The breakfast is self-service, plentiful, mostly organic, and is served in the private kitchen of the B&B.

There is the option to have coffee or tea or herbal tea or hot chocolate; there are homemade jams, croissants, fresh bread, butter, yogurt, fresh milk, rusks, sliced bread, cereals, fresh cold cuts with cheese, cookies.. in short, something for every taste and appetite!

We are an Italo-Spanish family, travelers, and with young children.

We offer hospitality in a part of our large old house with the intention of providing an intimate, warm space where everyone feels "at home" but at the same time we respect their privacy, with separate areas (garden, sitting room, entrance).

Children are welcome guests and we are more than happy to provide them with a crib, high chair, or toys.

We are available to share information with you about our preferred restaurants or recommend a good wine or a nice bike ride in the precious valleys that surround us.

We have some bikes available (not brand new but functional!) as well as the possibility to park your bikes in the private and enclosed garden.

Cividale is small and can be visited in a few hours but is a few kilometers from Udine and the mountains and Slovenia, making it a good base. The B&B is a few hundred meters from the center, an old and charming house.

Francesca was very kind and she has very tastefully appointed the space to come to after walking the Alpe-Adria trail. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I loved staying here - it was by far the best B&B I experienced in Italy.

Very original Palazzo with a morbid charm on the edge of the old town. A slightly higher room temperature, especially in the bathroom, would be pleasant, given the cold tiled floor. Very friendly hostess, generously provided the second bathroom, not rented by us (apparently not needed elsewhere). We were able to store our three motorcycles well and with a bucket of water and a cloth we could clean the worst of the dirt, especially from the side panniers (rainy ride). Several restaurants and pizzerias are within walking distance. Perfect fit for motorcyclists.

The location, the host, and the breakfast are excellent. Unfortunately, it was quite cold during our stay, and the rooms, especially the bathroom, are hard to heat. In summer, this is certainly more advantageous.

Very nice stay for a day in an old house 100 meters from the old town. Easy communication with Francesca. Very complete breakfast compared to the Italian standard. Some seats in the small garden would have completed the experience.

This is a lovely place in an excellent location, everything was really close, the city center, the train station, etc. The building is beautiful with a small garden. The breakfast was also really good, there were both sweet and savory options. Francesca was really friendly and nice and it was very easy to communicate with her both on this site and on WhatsApp. Thank you for this amazing experience at this wonderful place!

The rooms are in a charming old villa. The bathrooms are brand new. The owners are lovely, the breakfast is really good and you can eat it when you want. There is a garden with chairs, a TV room with Italian TV.

Location is very good, walking distance from the station and in the town center. Very quiet and nice house. It was pleasant to relax in the courtyard.
