Dear guest, the property is the result of careful renovation of rooms that were part of a house built in 1786 (Casa Wauxhall), which at the time enjoyed moments of splendor, so much so that the district in which it was located was named after the palace.

You will be staying in an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city, despite being located on one of Trieste's main thoroughfares. Once you step outside, you will find all the public services you need to reach any destination, whether it be for tourism, business, or study purposes, etc. You will also find restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, shops, supermarkets, and all the main services nearby.

From Aquila d'Oro, you can admire Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia and the city's seafront within a few minutes' walk, stroll through the pedestrian area, and find yourself on the famous Canal Grande. You will also find yourself conveniently located near the entrance to Porto Vecchio, the train station, and the bus station. Another noteworthy feature is the proximity to the city stop of the famous historical Opicina tram.

Inside the rooms, you will find carefully chosen furnishings, with particular attention paid to hygiene and cleanliness. Your comfort will extend beyond the room to the use of common living spaces. This was a great place to stay while in Trieste. Centrally located with unique rooms full of charm and character, a few minutes' walk to the centre. A light breakfast was provided in the room with our rate, a quick start to the following day! I would not hesitate to stay here again!

His partner was equally lovely and kind. The property proved to be perfect: brand new, spotless, cozy and very close to the center...a true love nest. We will definitely visit them again. A wonderful place with an incredibly accommodating and friendly host. When we are in Trieste next time, we will definitely book again. The breakfast is more of a courtesy from the host - one cannot expect food in the classic sense. But there is coffee - what more can you want. The accommodation is a real bargain price-wise.

The property is in a perfect location to visit Trieste on foot. The owner was very friendly and generous with suggestions to best explore the city. We stayed in the largest room, comfortable and equipped with everything needed, tastefully furnished, and we used the space to park and charge our ebikes. We had a great two-day stay.

There were packaged croissants & jam as well as coffee & water, however, we were expecting something different for the booked breakfast and the photos at the time of booking were also more appealing. Nevertheless, the Romantig room Aquila D´oro was an excellent choice. The room is beautifully furnished, very clean, and, due to the courtyard, in a very quiet location. Our host was more than attentive and friendly and always reachable for us. The apartment is great and you can reach the Grand Canal in just 5 minutes. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

We were very impressed with the warm welcome from our host Andrea, his very nice wife and his son Alexander who even went with us and helped us to park our car. Andrea very enthusiastically described to us all local attractions and nice restaurants. We had the room with a little terrace, where we had breakfast in the morning and enjoyed a glass of local wine in the evening. It is a charming place in a beautiful and remarkable city. The property is located in the city center in a strategic position, very welcoming, tastefully furnished, and very clean. We appreciated the hospitality, professionalism, and friendliness of the manager. Inside the room, we found a very useful brochure with information about the city and its cultural and gastronomic attractions. Even though breakfast is not provided, there is everything needed to prepare a coffee or tea.

We felt very good. The accommodation is beautiful, very quiet, clean and central. We were welcomed very warmly and also assisted during breakfast. Everything was perfect. Despite the location on a main street, there were no noises as the rooms faced the inner courtyard. We would book this accommodation again.

Structure a few minutes walk from the train station (where the bus to Miramare Castle also passes) and about a 10-minute walk from the center of Trieste. On the street facing the structure, many buses also depart to reach the main attractions of the city. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Love the people, the place and the atmosphere! The breakfast is light, so if you have a big appetite, you might not want a late lunch, but what was there was tasty! No eggs. For cruisers, it was a 15-20 minute walk to the port with a quick pace. Most things seem very very clean, I only saw a few places with dust. I would absolutely stay here every time, and also welcome this lovely family to my town.

I highly recommend this property, to which I have given the highest score. The b&b is conveniently located: a few minutes' walk from the FS Station and less than ten minutes from Piazza Unità d'Italia. I stayed in the C Bluemarine room, very spacious, clean and well cared for in every detail both in terms of design and customer comfort. The breakfast is of excellent quality, varied and personalized. The owner was welcoming, professional and provided effective information on local venues and city activities.

Very well located place. Trieste can be visited on foot and the accommodation is not far from the bus and train station. \nIt is remarkably clean and quiet, situated in an inner courtyard, which keeps the city noises at bay. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful structure with unique design furnishings, each room has its own decor. My wife and I stayed in the green room, very beautiful room, the bed and the bathroom with a beautiful shower. Very original and charming Bed and Breakfast. Smells good upon entrance and very clean. Hosts were great, friendly and helpful! Had breakfast one morning, it was perfect! Location is fine, depending on where you want to explore, but very close to the train station which is helpful. Room is small and no fridge but we slept well and felt very happy with our choice.

The host was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was great to be in walking distance of the train station but we passed up the entrance to Aquila d'Oro because it doesn't have a very big sign. We had to backtrack. They are working on putting in a "lift" which is great because I had to drag my heavy bag up the stairs to our room. It's a very quaint historic building and even though it's on a very busy street, the rooms are very quiet. We slept well and had a lovely breakfast served by a cheerful server who chatted and laughed with us. I would definitely stay there again. I think it was a good value for the room and the breakfast.

This B&B was truly a pleasant discovery. Excellent location for walking around, bus stop right in front and train station a few meters away. Very pleasant stay, in a recently renovated structure, well cared for in every detail. Quiet room, clean, immaculate and quality sheets and pillows. If I had to add a plus, a kettle and minibar would make the stay even more enjoyable. The manager is affable and very kind, rely on his advice to visit Trieste and its surroundings at best.

We stayed for 4 nights in the 4-bed apartment. It was a spectacular stay. Let's start with the accommodation: delightful, brand new, meticulously cared for with classy finishes. The manager of the structure, Andrea, took care of us from the moment we arrived, making us feel comfortable right away, recommending unusual places to visit, away from the classic tourist tours. Breakfast time (excellent) became the opportunity to organize the day's tour, following his valuable advice. Lastly, the location is worth mentioning. A stone's throw from the station and a parking silos, bus stop under the building, and the center reachable on foot in 5 minutes. In short, TOP and we will definitely be back!

We have just returned after staying for 2 days in this B&B. What can I say, a pleasant discovery! The owners are very kind and will help you with any request. For its type, I would say it really has few competitors. Excellent welcome, splendid atmosphere, clean environment, attention to architectural details and customer care. The room was clean and tastefully furnished, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom very beautiful and elegant for its kind. The breakfast more than abundant with a lot of variety and all of excellent quality. And what about the staff... since our arrival we have breathed a courtesy and a genuine and friendly hospitality that have won us over. The location is excellent, you cross the street and you are immediately in the heart of Trieste. It is certainly a B&B that I gladly recommend and where we will definitely return with pleasure, perhaps as a base for a wider tour.

The Golden Eagle gave us a beautiful stay, courtesy and hospitality are at home. The room we chose, the Blue Marine, beautiful spacious and bright, appreciated among other things the bathroom and the large TV in front of the bed. The structure is brand new, renovated with art surprises in every environment, abundant quality breakfast, with cold cuts, fruit, smoothies, brioches, in short everything. The location is ideal, close to the Grand Canal with all its trendy clubs, the large Piazza Unità d'Italia, the pier, the bus and the train station are just steps away. Returning after a day of excursions or walking, rest is assured, tranquility and silence are at home.

I came for a weekend for work in Trieste and took the opportunity for a weekend with my wife. The place is particularly furnished, very well cared for, with three rooms and consequently a very quiet bed & breakfast. Excellent cleanliness, friendliness of the managers, convenience to the city center. Correct price for the type. I highly recommend it, if I return to Trieste I will try to come back here.
