Description

This is a carefully restored villa located in the rural village of Camino al Tagliamento. In the nearby area, you'll find a silent and charming countryside and the mysterious Tagliamento river. The villa has two beautiful gardens enclosed by stone walls and the Varmo river. There are two double rooms, one twin room with a sauna and one quadruple room, all with ensuite bathrooms. The interiors and floors feature exposed wooden beams. The location is 4 km away from Codroipo and close to major tourist destinations such as Villa Manin, Lignano, Aquileia, and Campo Base Frecce Tricolori. Bicycles are available for guests to explore the wonders of the Friulian countryside. The rooms are air-conditioned, and WiFi and digital TV are provided. English is spoken.

The breakfast we provide is prepared in advance by the manager, and guests can consume it independently in the morning. We chose this solution to give guests maximum freedom and autonomy, without forcing them to adhere to fixed schedules, while also allowing us to keep the price affordable.

The breakfast consists of individually packaged foods such as biscuits, jam, Nutella, as well as homemade cakes, milk, fruit juice, yogurt, and hot beverages like coffee, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, and tea, which guests can prepare themselves using an automatic dispenser.

A savory breakfast is available upon request only.

I have always admired the beauty of my country. When building this rental property, I made a decision not to harm it and if possible, to add a piece to its mosaic. I called upon the best local artisans to work with me, who are the guardians of the ancient masonry art that allowed our ancestors to create the most beautiful things that this country preserves.

Delightful B&B, convenient for those who intend to visit the surroundings (Villa Manin, Spilimbergo, Portogruaro, Udine, Palmanova). Kind and welcoming owners. Breakfast only sweet, mainly with packaged products and a homemade cake/pie. Excellent value for money.

Really a splendid structure with all the necessary comforts, everything well taken care of in the smallest details, maximum privacy and magical and quiet place, suitable for resting and relaxing. \nA beautiful exclusive service in this bed & breakfast is a very convenient fountain in the garden that gushes drinkable water, very good and very fresh 24h a day, so anyone staying here, can stock up on water for the whole day!\nThe only flaw, unfortunately, is the breakfast, because it is all 'do it yourself with packaged products and a coffee machine. However, there is a splendid kitchen available with everything you need to have breakfast as you like.\n\nI absolutely recommend this B&B, because the quality/price ratio is unbeatable!

L'Antico Borgo, struttura meravigliosa, accogliente e tenuta molto bene. La signora ci ha accolto molto caldamente, simpatica e carina ci ha fatti sentire a casa. Luogo tranquillo dove trascorrere un weekend o anche periodi più lunghi, visto la vicinanza a luoghi di interesse culturale e non solo. Infatti la struttura si trova a circa 42 minuti da Lignano Sabbiadoro, ad un'ora e mezza dalla famosa diga del Vajont, circa mezz'ora da Udine e Palmanova, un'ora da Redipuglia e un'ora e un quarto da Trieste. Ottimo punto di partenza per le gite alla scoperta della storia e delle bellezze naturali della zona. Ma, tornando alla struttura, Trattasi di un borgo ristrutturato, mantentendo la sua bellezza rustica, interni da baita, tutti in legno chiaro. Per il rispetto degli ospiti e per conservare al meglio gli interni con le scale in legno, viene chiesto in caso di scarpe col tacco di non indossarle per salire o scendere le scale. Ai piedi di queste vi è apposito luogo dove lasciarle. Le stanze sono dotate di tv, aria condizionata e bagno privato. La stanza con scala interna ha anche una meravigliosa sauna a legna privata. A disposizione al piano terra, cucina e frigorifero, inoltre su richiesta è possibile avere anche le biciclette. La colazione prevede una macchinetta a cialde che eroga caffè, cappuccio, tè e altre bevande calde. A disposizione delle brioches confezionate, fette biscottate e marmellate, miele e nutella monodose e delle mele. Ad essere sincera da un luogo così mi sarei aspettata qualche torta fatta in casa e diversità di frutta fresca di stagione... ma del resto si può approfittare della cucina a disposizione se proprio si vuole altro per colazione. Grazie per il piacevole weekend, torneremo sicuramente in inverno per testare la sauna!

Per un friulano della diaspora, è stato come tornare nella casa dei nonni. Accogliente, benissimo tenuta e ristrutturata, una vera casa friulana. Per di più dotata di ogni comfort. Ci sono persino le lenzuola con i ricami, come una volta. È una struttura autogestita, i gestori non si fanno vedere (non so se è meglio così o no, forse una capatina al momento dell'accoglienza bisognerebbe farla) e da qui il voto non altissimo, Mandi, a la prossime.

Abbiamo prenotato gruppo famigliare, di 6 persone, per partecipare ad un matrimonio a San Vito. La signora Maria Grazia è stata cordialissima gentilissima e disponibilissima a fornirci tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno (trattorie, negozi etc.) La struttura è meravigliosa anche perché arredata in modo splendido, e quasi interamente in legno (struttura portante, mobili ed arredi) realizzati dal marito della signora. Insomma siamo stati benissimo e penso proprio che quando torneremo a trovare mio cognato, ritorneremo volentieri. Complimenti! Mandi.

La struttura è un ottimo posto dove soggiornare in tranquillità e potersi godere un piacevole soggiorno in Friuli, visitando i luoghi di cultura vicini che distano pochi Km di distanza. Le camere sono grandi, accoglienti e pulite, come i bagni. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura due notti in occasione della festa dei Santi. Stanza spaziosa e pulita. La posizione è molto tranquilla e vicina a Codroipo. La signora che gestisce l'affittacamere è stata gentilissima e attenta alle nostre richieste e necessità. Colazione non particolarmente entusiasmante, ma consigliatissimo nel complesso.

L' Antico borgo è un posto molto accogliente, ottimo per riposare e rilassarsi in completa pace e tranquillità. La struttura è vicina ai centri più importanti. È spaziosa, pulita, calda, famigliare. Ottimo sia per singoli, coppie e famiglie. Io sono stata veramente bene e credo proprio che se ne ho l' occasione, ci torno molto volentieri.
