The story of "Al Buttasella" begins in 1989, when Paolo transforms a vast green area, given to him by his father Emilio, into an equestrian paradise. Initially, the place was adorned with tall trees, hedges, and fences for the horses. Paolo's passion for horses and the inspiration from his military equestrian instructor, Glauco Secchi, led to the creation of the Equestrian Association "Al Buttasella. " The name comes from a military signal given with a trumpet to the mounted unit to saddle up.
While the passion for equestrianism grew, Paolo and Emilio, who was a mason, built a rural building as a storage for agricultural tools. Paolo, with his father's help, obtained approval from the Municipality of Mortegliano to start an agritourism business. This marked the beginning of a new adventure, where every family member gave their best to make the new activity flourish.
In March 1997, Paolo's mother Bruna, with the support of the whole family, officially started the agritourism business. When Bruna decided to retire, Paolo and his wife Sonia took the reins of the activity. With pride and passion, they continue to manage "Al Buttasella, " realizing a dream born from nothing and nurtured with love.

We wanted to visit some cities in FVG and chose this structure for its central location, convenient for reaching the various destinations. Thus, we discovered a very beautiful agriturismo, well-maintained, immersed in the quiet of the countryside, comfortable in every way, rooms in mini-apartments for three adults, breakfasts and dinners with Friulian specialties, a well-kept pool for refreshing baths and relaxation, but above all with an experience of direct contact with a breeding and care activity for beautiful horses and foals. Our one-week vacation was therefore more than satisfactory, but the indelible memory of FVG for us will not be the beautiful cities, the wonderful monuments, or the enchanting landscapes, but rather forever the memory of the owners managing the structure who, with their commitment and their passion, made this dream a reality.
