Description

Affittacamere Iris is the ideal spot for people visiting Trieste to study, work or for tourism. It is set in the city centre, with 6 big rooms with private bathroom (with hair-dryer and courtesy kit) and air conditioning.

In the morning a daily prepared breakfast and the hopitality of the owners will make you begin the day in the best possible way!
Affittacamere Iris is at a five minutes walk distance from the pedestrian area, full of history, monuments, churches. In less than 10 minutes you'll arrive in Piazza Unità, the heart of the town. For people willing to see the neighbourhood (Castello di Miramare, Grotta Gigante, Risiera di San Sabba and more), Affittacamere Iris is nearby the main bus stops located in Piazza Oberdan and Piazza della Libertà.

Affittacamere Iris is 200m far from the train and bus stations. If you arrive by car you can park in the streets near the Affittacamere (1 euro/h from 8am to 8pm) or at Molo IV (10 euros/24h, free in the festive days) or in the garage called Silos (10 euros/24h festive days included).

We will be pleased to host you!

Clean structure on the first floor of a historic building, with elevator. Close to the station and silos parking (where we left the car for 3 days so we wouldn't have to think about it anymore), a short distance from the center. You can reach it with a nice walk in the pedestrian street and ZTL where the structure is located. Mr. Disan is very kind, he pampered us during breakfast and gave us many useful indications about the city and more. There is a bit of lack of soundproofing in the rooms, but with polite people it's not a problem. Highly recommended.

Great experience! The room was not huge but very clean, spacious bathroom, clean and equipped with everything. It is literally a stone's throw from the station and the center and Dusan, besides being very friendly, is a well of practical and historical information about the city and its surroundings. Highly recommended.

La stanza presenta quasi tutte le comodità necessarie a un pernotto soddisfacente, fatto eccetto per l'assenza del bidet. Tuttavia, devo dire che abbiamo trovato il cestino del bagno già metà pieno al nostro arrivo, nonostante la pulizia fosse in realtà abbastanza buona. Per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualità-prezzo, siamo rimaste soddisfatte perché la posizione è stata molto comoda. Tuttavia, ci ha un po' impaurite il fatto che in una zona della stazione il portone principale viene lasciato sempre aperto. Le piccole accortezze, quali caramelle e bustine di thè, sono state molto apprezzate.

Buongiorno, Mi scuso per la svista del cesto della spazzatura, ma sarebbe bastato un avviso e saremmo arrivati in cinque minuti a sostituirlo, evitando un 6 poco soddisfacente nella recensione. Il portone aveva un problema alla serratura che è stato risolto in questi giorni, ma la zona è comunque molto sicura, c'è videosorveglianza nel palazzo e abbiamo una porta blindata nuova.

Perfectly positioned 5 minutes from the train station, just a few minutes from the tourist center and the Adriatic. Very secure, excellent bed, very friendly host. Great bathroom and breakfast. Quiet and airy rooms. Good quality. Easy check-in and they will hold bags if the room isn't ready. We had a perfect stay.

I liked the structure for its proximity to the train station and also to the center of Trieste. The room we got was rather small but well soundproofed and sufficient for one night. The historical building in the Teresiano district is excellently maintained. The buffet breakfast is abundant and varied. The manager is present and kind.

An excellent bed & breakfast. Large room, right bathroom; courtesy set with the possibility of making tea or coffee and candies as a treat. But the best part is Dusan, kind and generous with advice on what to visit; truly a precious person who makes you feel comfortable. His valuable advice was very useful for visiting the city, which is beautiful. We are certain we will return here, and I recommend this place to everyone.

It is cozy and discreet. The structure is in the center, providing the possibility to move around without means of transport. In five minutes you can reach the station on foot, and in a few minutes, you reach all the work activities of interest. I liked it.

Small rooms, limited space for luggage and personal belongings but with a bit of organization everything is settled. Excellent cleanliness, modern and essential style furniture. Close to the train station, in the heart of the historic center. Simple and effective electronic customer reception system. Apart from the only downside of the wobbly toilet seat, I would say it's ideal for spending a few nights.

The room is a bit small, there is little space for the suitcase, otherwise everything is fine. Dussan provided us with a lot of information during breakfast: boat trip to Miramare, scenic path to Prosecco with breathtaking views, historical background of Trieste.

Pulizia 2: quali orrori ha trovato in stanza? E perché non ci ha avvisati? Avendo generalmente voti sopra il 9 non ci spieghiamo cosa possa essere andato così male, e soprattutto il vostro silenzio in un pernottamento di 3 notti. Rapporto qualità prezzo: ad agosto i prezzi sono alti. Ma qui ci tengo a precisare che avete speso 125€ a notte compresa colazione, tassa e bagno in camera in 4 adulti. Quando il prezzo minimo a Trieste è di circa 180 nella nostra zona, senza colazione. Pertanto il vostro voto mi sembra ingiustificato

Questa recensione è cattiva e ingiusta. Vi ho fatto fare il check in alle 9 di mattina (e vi aspettavo già da un'ora). Avrei dovuto cacciare chi era nella stanza per pulirla subito e darla a voi? Mi sono svegliata un'ora prima per farvi fare la colazione in anticipo, perché vi hanno spostato un appuntamento. La colazione. Avete mangiato tè e brioche. Ma ho cereali, marmellata, pane, burro, fette biscottate, torta, yogurt, salame a formaggio, nutella e altro ancora. La stanza è dotata di bollitore con tè e caffè, aria condizionata, tapparelle -una rarità a Trieste. È stata rinnovata interamente a gennaio. L'ascensore c'è. Se voi non l'avete visto/usato è un problema vostro, anche perché ve l'ho segnalato, viste le difficoltà della signora. Cosa dovevo fare di più? Che servizi mancherebbero? Quelli di un 4 stelle? Siete i primi ospiti insoddisfatti della stagione, ma penso che sareste stati insoddisfatti in ogni condizione.

The experience was positive in every aspect. The Affittacamere Iris is located in a beautiful building and in a very central area. The interior has been recently renovated and the room that hosted us was lovely and functional (the air conditioning was crucial in the summer!). The managers were really kind, friendly, and very helpful. We were completely satisfied.

I proprietari di casa sono super gentili e disponibili, pronti anche a dare ottimi consigli su come muoversi a Trieste e cosa visitare. Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni bellissimi a Trieste, e torneremo senz'altro! Senza dubbio la nostra scelta per il B&B sarà nuovamente "Iris" siamo stati benissimo! Posizione ottima, a un passo dalla stazione e pochi minuti dal centro, Camera spaziosa e pulita, ottima colazione, ma soprattutto ci rimarrà nel cuore la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari! La struttura è a pochi passi dalla Stazione ferroviaria ed alla fermata Flixbus. Posizione strategica per raggiungere il centro ed il porto della splendida Trieste a piedi. I gestori sono gentilissimi e danno ottimi consigli per la visita della città ed i dintorni. In camera c'è il climatizzatore. Gli unici consigli che mi sento di dare sono: oscurare la finestra e mettere qualche mensola in bagno. Consiglio vivamente la struttura!

Ho soggiornato per una notte con la mia famiglia nella stanza 6, ottima soluzione per chi ha bambini. Pulizia e cortesia caratterizzano la struttura. Segnalo soprattutto la comodità dei materassi e dei cuscini, cosa rara! Il letto matrimoniale è molto ampio. Tornerei sicuramente.
