Description
An ancient villa dating to 1650 with park and oratory dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, Villa Villani is located 8 km from Bologna and 35 km from Ferrara on main road 64, It can be reached from Bologna by following the signs for Ferrara, or by taking Toll Motorway A13, exiting at Interporto.
The portion of the villa given allocated to guest accommodations is on the first floor: three rooms with two beds, complete with bathroom with convenient shower, air conditioning, TV, free Internet, independent heating, kitchenette with refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven.
Villa Villani's guests can benefit from a barbecue and dining area beneath a grapevine arbour and a relaxation area with water games and meadow where children can play, all lying inside a spacious park with ancient trees.
A private car park with a sheltered area for motorcycles and bicycles is also available.
A sumptuous breakfast buffet that includes seasonal fruit, sweets, dairy products, coffee and tea is served in a private breakfast room with fireplace and TV.

Great host, it was a pleasure to be hosted by this dear attentive and caring family. They gave us a safe shelter for our bikes and a studio apartment complete with everything. Then, the breakfast with the pastries from the pastry shop is the top! The only downside is the entrance and exit on the very busy main road and the soundproofing is not sufficient... you can hear the traffic as if you were by the roadside.

Quiet and family-friendly place, the B&B Villa Villani is a perfect support for those like me who are in Bologna for a few weeks for work, study, or even vacation. Far enough from Bologna to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside but close enough to reach the city easily and avoid traffic. Spacious and well-furnished room, equipped with a full kitchen and private bathroom. The kindness and professionalism of Gabriella and her husband are the cherry on top. Excellent stay in every aspect.
