GattoMoro is an apartment located on the outskirts of Bologna 6/7 km from the airport and 10/12 km from the center of Bologna and the Fiera, but out of the chaos of the city.

Calm and tranquility are its strong point.

It is furnished in a simple and essential way but with all the necessary comforts and a pleasant stay.

It has an entrance to living room with open kitchen equipped with induction, microwave oven, coffee pod machine, kettle and fridge.

in the living room there is also a double sofa bed, television and wifi modem.

The large bedroom has a large double bed and a large wardrobe.

The bathroom has a shower and hairdryer in addition to the normal toilets.

There are air conditioners in the living room and bedroom

Hello, I'm Francesco. What can I say about myself? I am a retired man who does this type of activity out of passion. I enjoy it and I try to transmit this joy to the people who give me the opportunity to host them. I come from a completely different line of work, but I have good manual skills for practical things. I'm not really a sporty type, but I really enjoy walking. I have done several pilgrimages, including the Camino de Santiago, the Path in the Mutated Lands, the Path of St. Benedict, the Way of the Gods, the Tiberina Way, and the Amerina Way to Rome. I love the mountains and I have taken up climbing, but I also enjoy the sea. Maybe it's because I was born in Cattolica and lived there for 25 years.

The GattoMoro1 and GattoMoro2 apartments are located in a village of houses near the bank of the Reno River, so they are in the countryside but only 800m from the center of the hamlet of Longara. They were converted from an old renovated stable into a residential building in 1994 and recently revised.
The surrounding countryside is typically flat, and if the bank of the Reno River is cleared of weeds, it can be walked or cycled along for almost its entire length, reaching Bologna and beyond to the south or, much further, even reaching its mouth on the Adriatic Sea to the north/northeast. We are close to G. Marconi Airport (6/7 km), the center of Bologna, and the fairgrounds (approximately 15 km).
Nearby, we have the Maggiore Hospital, the San Giovanni in Persiceto Hospital, and the Bentivoglio Hospital. About 80/100m away, there is a large free public parking lot with more than 50 parking spaces. There is bus stop number 81 that goes south to Bologna and arrives at the Central Station. Unfortunately, it does not run at all hours, so it is advisable to check the schedule if you want to use it. In the center of the hamlet, there is a church, a pizzeria, two bars, a small shopping center, a pharmacy, a hardware store, 2 hairdresser shops, a bakery, a sushi bar, and a physiotherapy center. A little further away, there is the gelato shop Mille tentazioni. There is a gas station and a large auto repair workshop.

A very convenient property for going to Bologna and especially to the Unipol Arena, which is 15 minutes away. Perfect in every way and very convenient. Recommended for those going to the Unipol and needing to stay. Francesco gave us lots of information on how to get around without getting stuck in traffic. The apartment is very nice, equipped with everything and very comfortable. Recommended.

The host Francesco is very attentive and helpful. We had some problems with the washing machine and he did not hesitate to come and help us. Upon booking he sent us information on how to get to the apartment and additional details. Very helpful. Communication is very good and quick. Access to the apartment is very handy without keys. The apartment is clean and well equipped. We would recommend visiting GattoMoro. Close to Bologna.

I believe this is the first time I really felt at home. What struck me next, besides the extreme courtesy of the host and the cleanliness, is the scent of the linens, a scent from the bed and bathroom, and the comfort of the bed as well as the sofa bed. Truly compliments.

I stayed here with my family for two consecutive years and it always proves to be a great solution for the four of us. Clean apartment with everything we need. The accommodation is like a second home away from home. It is very well equipped. The accommodation is clean, spacious and comfortable. Experience more than satisfactory! Welcome, kindness, cleanliness, excellent value for money. We were five in apartment no. 2, and as soon as we entered (with a convenient and very simple remote access) we were immediately struck by the very well-kept appearance of the interiors. Wooden ceiling with exposed beams, large windows that provide excellent brightness with a view of the endless surrounding fields, other small windows with mosquito nets, very nice terrace with a shading sail (even if the weather we found was not the best to fully enjoy its comfort!). Very spacious and well-kept bathroom. Bed, sofa bed, and armchair are very comfortable! Kitchen with induction hobs, dishes, coffee machine, and kettle with a good selection of herbal teas. In short, nothing was missing at all. If we ever pass by the Bologna airport again, we will definitely know where to go! Thank you Francesco for your availability and kindness! Until next time! Wonderful accommodation and wonderful host. Restaurants nearby (pizzeria does delivery, order by phone), close to the highway, quiet area, big (and free!) parking at 100 meters. Birds singing in the morning: you can hear them from the terrace. You can visit the whole area from here. We would definitely return and strongly recommend.

We stayed at GattoMoro for work, the whole structure is very clean and tidy. The manager is very kind: he gave us the keys late at night upon our request, meeting us on the street to accompany us to the room. What can I say? We were satisfied in every aspect! We often do quick getaways between Emilia Romagna and Lombardia, so I've seen quite a few facilities, but like this one never! Wonderful! The apartment is equipped with everything! We found hand soap, intimate and shower foam dispensers! Nothing was missing in the kitchen and bedroom! In a few words, perfect, nothing was missing! Highly recommended, congratulations!

We only stayed for one night because we had an early morning flight from the Bologna Airport. We chose this place because of its proximity to the airport. The host was extremely welcoming.
