We open our residence to those who wish to stay in a private home and appreciate its authentic features: we did not create this bed & breakfast specifically to provide hospitality, but we simply welcome guests into our home. Guests will therefore be able to enjoy a domestic and familiar atmosphere, will have their own room and bathroom for exclusive use, and will also be able to use spaces such as the living room, kitchen and courtyard, and read from our library.
The house is independent and is located in a green and quiet position, in one of the best ancient residential areas of Bologna, near a public park. The historic center and the stadium are within walking distance and the hills with the parks and the Sanctuary of San Luca are nearby. There are also various bus lines that connect the entire city.

Our neighborhood Saragozza is one of the oldest neighborhoods born just outside the historic center. Also called "the garden city", it is still characterized by ancient houses from the first urbanization and is a beautiful residential neighborhood, where many families have lived for generations. It also includes the portico of San Luca (a UNESCO heritage site), the stadium, the first hills of Bologna, part of the historic center and many parks and green areas. It has also preserved a good number of neighborhood shops, bars, restaurants, taverns of local tradition, which offer an authentic and friendly atmosphere and the possibility of living in perfect Bolognese style.

Un Posto a Casa is a spacious and pleasant accommodation, with a personal atmosphere. We felt very much at home, also because of the welcome by host Silvia and her open communication in advance and during our stay. The house is about 15 minutes walking distance (west) from the central area of Bologna, 30 minutes from Piazza Maggiore. Bus connections are good. The car is useless in central Bologna, we parked it for EUR 11 per day (Sunday free) near the accommodation. We had a good time during our three nights stay.

My husband and I stayed in the property for 4 days and we had a great time! The apartment is spotless and the cleaning service is carried out daily. Besides the bedroom and bathroom, we had access to the living room and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare our meals. Silvia is a very helpful and kind host, always attentive to the needs of her guests! The apartment is close to the bus stop and we could easily reach the center and the station. There are shops and supermarkets nearby. We will be back soon!
