What guests say
A simple, affordable stay in a quiet area with convenient bus links to central Bologna. Guests particularly value the host’s friendliness and helpfulness. Rooms are functional, but cleanliness and condition can vary; several reviews mention that maintenance is needed, especially in the bathrooms and shared areas. Some guests also note small or warm rooms and unreliable Wi-Fi.

The owner was kind and helpful. We had some problems since we came during a cold season, but with Emanuele's cooperation we resolved them. Sometimes just talking is enough to overcome inconveniences. Breakfast was not served on the premises but at Bar Matteo, whose owner, Matteo, is very friendly and welcoming. It was a nice experience.

The room is located in a somewhat old building, but it is very clean and having a private bathroom in the room was very convenient. It is also in a location that allows you to reach anything in Bologna within a few minutes (by bike or by bus).

I stayed in Sweet Room for a month in October 2024 and liked the place. The location is just a few bus stops from the center of Bologna and there is a very good and convenient bus connection to different parts of the city. The host is kind and helpful which made my stay comfortable. The room is clean and the surrounding is peaceful and quiet. The price was affordable. I recommend Sweet Room for both short and longer stays.

The structure is in a good location, but this time I do not want to give evaluations on the structure or location, but on the great kindness and availability of the manager. He is attentive to issues and ready to solve them even if they are not his responsibility. Thank you. 5 stars would be too few for his professionalism.

The bathroom needs renovation and cleaning (we found black hairs everywhere), the WiFi doesn't work at all.

The answer from the host:
Caro Vlad, anche se i sanitari e l'arredamento non sono nuovissimi, sono perfettamente funzionanti, ogni volta vengono testati e puliti. Se avevi notato delle incompletezze nella pulizia avrei gradito che tu mi avessi avvertito e sarei intervenuto subito così anche per il wi-fi. Sono aspetti che capisco non dovrebbero accadere ma che al tempo stesso avrei risolto subito volentieri.

Emanuele was a very kind and helpful host in providing information about the place. The accommodation is centrally located, close to bus stops. Outside there is a nice garden, a pity that sometimes there are many mosquitoes. I would suggest in the summer period to provide a fan (even the small ones) and better lighting in the room.

Humble but very welcoming, clean and functional accommodation. The manager is truly very helpful, friendly, and kind. You can count on him for everything (a truly precious element in a city like Bologna. Very convenient location due to the proximity to the bus stop and to the train stop at San Vitale station. Definitely recommended stay.
