Description

WE HAVE ACTIVATED RESERVATION DIRECTLY ON THE WEBSITE OF POZZO DI MEZZO B&B SO THAT GUESTS CAN FREELY VERIFY THE REAL AVAILABILITY OF ROOMS AND, EVENTUALLY, BOOK.

The b & b, located in Bologna city, is 4 km from the historical centre; 5 minutes walk from Via Toscana where you can find restaurants, bars, cinemas, grocery shops, tobacconist's, newsagent's, pharmacy and the bus to reach the most beautiful area of the historical centre in 15 minutes.

The 3 rooms, all with independent entrance and access from the garden, have a private bathroom with towels, Ortigia courtesy set, vanity set, shower cap, shaving set, slippers, hairdryer and are equipped with air conditioning with independent temperature control, TV, wifi connection, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle.

The rooms are cleaned daily, by my wonderful collaborator Gloria, and sanitised with certified products. The linen is washed by specialised laundries.

Guests can enjoy the garden in total freedom; a wine and beverage cellar is available under the patio.

Ample private and free parking with video surveillance: return by car and pedestrian at any time in total autonomy thanks to the gate opening with access codes.

The B&B Pozzo di Mezzo is superb. If it doesn't bother you that it is a 20-minute bus ride away from the city center (the bus station is nearby and the bus departs frequently) then book it. The house is wonderful, the rooms pretty and very clean. And the owner Francesca is very helpful and charming. Totally can recommend it!

Impeccable and very clean rooms and Francesca was extremely helpful in helping us find a restaurant where to have dinner on New Year's Eve and she made an effort to call various places that offered à la carte menu instead of the usual New Year's Eve dinner. Delicious pastry breakfast deserves a 10 out of 10; a bit less the prepackaged one on January 1st and for this reason the rating is only 9 (but we were warned in advance). The place is close to a street where you can find everything but to go to the city center (where it is almost impossible to park) you have to take the bus (it's only 15 minutes anyway). Highly recommended and worth coming back.

What can I say... a wonderful weekend. So many things I liked that I'll try not to digress too much: The Pozzo di Mezzo B&B is very well maintained, it seems new, recently renovated, everything is perfectly in the right place and nice to see. In my opinion, the room photos don't do it justice! Impeccable cleanliness, needless to say. Breakfast: from the website, I didn't understand how a breakfast could cost so much, instead I find it brilliant. If you want to have a coffee with the machine (which is also delicious) and a packaged brioche are included in the price, which I consider low compared to Bologna and what is offered. If you want instead a bakery breakfast that is actually practically a sweet/savory lunch with the best you can find, then it's worth spending more because you won't have lunch for sure, so many things are offered (I'm not joking). Location: it would be perfect if they weren't building on the road to get there, but I say this just for transparency because once you pass the gate, you don't hear any noise and the view isn't affected. And then her: Francesca, a fantastic owner whose aim is to make you enjoy every moment. Super kind and helpful, she seems to know what music you would like to hear as background and what glass of wine you would like to drink. In short, top! I will definitely come back.

The property was very well appointed and of a high standard throughout with a very pleasant seating area outside. All necessary amenities are close by including a regular bus service. Bologna is a beautiful city that we will visit again. The hostess, Francesca, gave us a very warm welcome and provided lots of information about the area which she is so clearly so passionate about, including her own hand drawn maps of the immediate area and one of Bologna itself, which were both very useful. Without doubt she is the most helpful and enthusiastic hostess that we have ever met, but was never intrusive with the advice that she offered. Thank you very much Francesca, wèll see you again.

Bellissimo Bed and Breakfast, ottima location, casa tipica del posto, pavimenti esterni in cotto, molto elegante e pulita. La padrona che ci ha accolti all'arrivo è stata super gentile. Volendo c'è la possibilità di avere un'abbondante colazione, ci siamo sentiti meglio che a casa! Consigliatissimo.

Posto molto bello e tranquillo. Stanza pulita in maniera maniacale ed arredata con gusto. Colazione molto varia ed abbondante. Gestore simpaticissimo e disponibilissimo a venire incontro ad ogni esigenza del cliente. Credo che ci ritornerò appena possibile! Mauro.
