Description

The B&B is about 25 km far from the centre of Bologna, in a beatifull place on the countryside of Marzabotto, in front of the Historic Regional Park of Monte Sole.

The two-floor detached house is easily reached by car from the motor-way (exit of Sasso Marconi) or the main road SS64. The railway station is just 3 km far.

The house has a large covered terrace and portico. There is a courtyard with safe parking space, garden and woodland. A fine view of surrounding country side dominates the valley approaching the foothills of Monte Sole.

There are two double rooms for guests on the groundfloor and one on the first floor, each with separate entrance from outside, bathroom with shower and heating. A third bed may be added.

Service includes overnight stay, breakfast, bed linen and cleaning. Pets are welcome.

The B & B Monte Sole enjoys a magnificent location, close to the village of Marzabotto in the hamlet of Pian Venola, with spectacular views of Monte Sole and places of historical and natural park. The property is surrounded by greenery and tranquility, easily accessible by car and for those who do not have, we offer shuttle service on request, to reach by public transport.

The Monte Sole Park offers many tours of great historical and natural interest (http: //www. parcostoricomontesole. it), the Etruscan City of Misa of the fourth century B. C. is one of the largest Etruscan archaeological sites with adjoining the very interesting National Etruscan Museum "Pompeo Aria" (http: //www. archeobologna. beniculturali. it/marzabotto). Do not miss the church of S. Lorenzo of Panico (eleventh century).

The Reno Valley is interesting for fans of geology, fauna, flora, for walking and cycling. Less than half an hour to reach Porretta Terme and a little more for the city of Bologna, also comfortably reached by public transport.

There are many five-star hotels around, but none that offers what B&B Monte Sole has to offer. It was just what we were looking for: a warm owner, a genuine person who really cares for her guests. We were exhausted upon arrival after 70 km of cycling. Carla immediately offered us something to drink and made us feel at home. But then she did even more, she offered to take us into town for dinner, thus simplifying things for us since we needed to recharge our batteries (not just the E-bikes, but our own as well), given that there is a small climb to reach her house. I accepted her offer of a coffee and instantly understood that she runs the B&B simply because she enjoys the contact with guests from all walks of life. If you are looking for luxury accommodation, go to the Hilton. If you are looking for a place to immerse yourself in nature and savor the simple hospitality of the past, stay at B&B Monte Sole with Carla.

The structure offers a breathtaking view of Monte Sole. Mrs. Carla welcomes you with a unique kindness and availability, already perceived over the phone at the time of booking. The room is cozy and has all the comforts such as television, clean linen, tiled bathroom with toilet and shower, wardrobe. Parking is available in front of the room and there is a truly abundant breakfast. Dogs are welcome, my four-legged friend did not want to leave. Optimal quality-price ratio. I stayed with my parents and our dog, and I am absolutely sure we will return. 10+.

Immaculately clean structure, the sheets smell of freshly laundered laundry. We were greeted by Mrs. Carla with kindness and familiarity that made us feel pampered and comfortable, as if we were at home. Fully satisfied, so much so that we were sorry to have to leave. Highly recommended.

In a beautiful location halfway up the hill, very peaceful. Economical and basic in services but well-maintained. Excellent value for money. The only downside is there is almost no coverage outside the room, neither voice nor data, and there is no WiFi. I hope the host addresses this. By the way, the host is very kind and helpful.

Buona serata sig. Paolo, mi fa piacere che si sia trovato bene, mi dispiace non averle dato la password per il telefono, ma le assicuro che il risultato sarebbe stato di poco migliore. Non mi è servito a niente nel tempo, cambiare operatori: tim, wind, infostrada, ora sono con fastweb, almeno rispondono e mandano presto il tecnico, si perchè spesso ho anche interruzioni sulla linea. 15 giorni fa hanno cambiato il modem (a mie spese). Il mio è un piccolo sfogo, e mi deve scusare, tutti parlano delle zone rurali che devono progredire e ripopolarsi, ma se non cè modo di comunicare, oppure se è incerto, diventa un sogno. a nulla sono valse le nostre ripetute richieste al comune, questa piccola parte dell'appennino , così vicina a bologna, è dimenticata ! cordiali saluti Carla e grazie.

Beautiful location, on a hill, overlooking the Reno Valley. Excellent breakfast, served by the hostess (Carla) who welcomes you to her home. The rooms are fresh and clean. Just below there is an excellent restaurant (La Gardenia) offering local dishes and pizza. A nice stay, we will return.

It made a great impression on me, friendly and kind owner, very clean, enviable view; located at about 350 meters above sea level and the last uphill stretch of road could be challenging during winter in case of snow or ice. We will come back, highly recommended!

The value for money is excellent. The parking is very close to the room. Everything is extremely clean. Well-kept and spacious outdoor areas, perfect for dinners with friends. If I could, I would have stayed longer due to the tranquility and peace of the location. I highly recommend it. Since the structure is in a dominant position over the valley, you have to face an uphill climb to get there, but it's immediate. Congratulations to Carla. Fantastic.
